I had to return an item. I followed the return instructions listed on their website. I just received an email from them informing me that the items I returned are too damaged for resale and I am not going to get a full refund.
So I guess I have to take their word for it and let them keep more than half of my money... buyers beware.
Signed up as they were offering new users a £10 off promotion. Went through checkout before noticing one of the items was cheaper on amazon so went back and removed it from basket, only to find when I went back through checkout the system was saying the coupon was "only for new customers". Talked to customer service assuming was an easy fix. Rather than resetting account status or providing another code at the same value, the suggestion was to pay full price and they would refund after. I said it was crazy to expect me to pay more then go through effort of getting a refund back after when price not much differnet from other sites and I could just purchase on there. Customer service simply said that was their procedure in this situation, they made no effort to even say "I will talk to my line manager and see if there is anything we can do". If solving a trivial problem like this is so hard, I can't imagine what would happen if I needed to return something.
On the face of it this company seems to have a good range and keen prices... but beware because they use a very shoddy delivery service. Even though I bought and paid for a "Tracked Courier Delivery" neither wiggle.co.uk or its delivery service, Parcelforce, have made any concerted effort to resolve the situation when my goods weren't delivered. Instead they treat me as though I'm an idiot, offering nothing but empty platitudes while they simply wash their hands of the entire problem.
I've sent a helmet back for an EXCHANGE after I purchased one through one of their offers of discount after spending over £100. I asked for the same helmet just a different colour but they refunded me and claimed they had no stock of the colour I requested. Their site claimed 10+ in stock. I now have to buy at full price due to the offer finishing by the time I heard back from them about the return. Disgusting customer service. I've tried to contact them but no response!
Having placed an order for a Garmin Watch bundle on the 19th for next day delivery, I then discovered myself that they had cancelled the order. They did not email or text me, I simply happened to log into my account. This time, they did not take payment.
Having spoken to a member of their team, who said it was a technical issue on their end, I then processed a second order. I used a different card on this occasion and payment was taken in full. I then logged into my account a few moments later to find the order had again been cancelled.
It appears that they are offering items are a considerably discount, undoubtedly to catch peoples attention. Then, when somebody buys them, they are cancelling the order. The most problematic issue is that they are taking the money and holding it.
With no phone number and slow online chat, they offer little support. I would urge people to avoid using Wiggle.
Would never buy off this company again they won't ans your email they have no phone numbers bought a bike costing 1150 pnds after 5 months rear cassette is so worn chain slipping and they won't do a thing about it 5 months iv had it ride it to work and back 3 miles a day not happy
HI just to warn you about this company... I ordered a BMX from them for christmas for my six year old, I ordered the bike the 28th of November 2019, didn't arrive, didn't arrive, didn't arrive, no customer support, no idea where the bicycle has gone... about as bad as you can expect buying online. Use them at your peril..
On Apr. 13 I ordered a bicycle chain tool from wiggle.com. The transaction transpired via Paypal, however the "merchant" cited was a fraternal organization, to my amazement, Phi Delta Theta.
I'd had to register an account with Wiggle before I could initiate the order. I was emailed innocuously enough by Wiggle at that time. However, 1 minute later I received from Wiggle an email that asked if it was myself who changed my address and if so to contact their security investigation arm. I didn't notice that for a week. Meantime, 6 days after I ordered the item I began to investigate what was going on because I had no clue when to expect delivery. I went to my account on Wiggle.com and it said I had made no orders! The item was there in my cart. Going to my CC company I saw that the charge had been made and by that Phi Delta Theta entity. I contacted Wiggle asking what the problem could be and got automated response saying they'd reply within 48 hours. 40 hours later I get another email from them asking for my exact name on my account and my billing address. I email them that and get another automated response saying they will get back to me. I have heard nothing from Wiggle since. But the same day (yesterday) I start getting possible fraud alerts from my CC company. I call them and cancel the CC number and assure them that several charges on the CC in the last few days WERE INDEED FRAUDULENT. It's apparent to me that either someone at Wiggle is engaging in criminal activity or their website has been hacked. Wiggle's lack of response to me is an alarming red flag. I would not do business with them again.
I ordered a new Felt FR4 from Wiggle in April. It arrived in the middle of May and I had six weeks light riding on it until, in late June, the freewheel bearing started to jam. "OK" I thought "need to submit a warranty claim to Wiggle and should be quickly back on the road.". NO, HOW WRONG COULD I BE! Wiggle's Customer Service department does not even understand the concept of Customer and Service. Two weeks on, I have received precisely one email from them, and that was to ask for frame number etc, which I sent back within the hour. Chasing emails go unanswered and probably unread while my new bike gathers dust. As the overall rating says "Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!"
I had several items in my basket. Prices magically changed after the order was processed which ended up costing me 40% higher than what was in the basket. I had the correct currency and destination selected, but something got changed after the order was processed and my credit card was charged much higher. They would not respond to multiple emails and kept accusing me of selecting the wrong settings even after I showed them screenshots of the correct settings.
Don't just Don't they look appealing with their prices but my orders 10 out of 10 either get delayed or lost. Problem is with their carrier DHL
And they don't seem to care. Currently, I have items waiting in Transit in Germany for 6 days and going on and imagine that I leave in EU(Greece). Absolutely horrible service I like that they guaranty delivery and after
When the S... t hit the fan they say wait and that they are not responsible.
I ordered a GPS off their site. After about two weeks my order was canceled for no reason. After I contacted them by email, they refused to give me information about the order. They said they would call at a specific time and never did.
100% waste of time to shop here. Don't waste your time.
I ordered a pair of shoes from Wiggle. I used to use Wiggle regularly for cycling gear but for some reason haven't recently. The price was good so I thought I'd try them again.
Unfortunately, one of the shoes was defective. The toe cap was moulded wrongly so it digs into the toes.
I reported it by email to Wiggle straight away. The website said they'll reply within 24h, while the automated response said 48h. Either way, after 2 days there was no reply.
I tried calling but they "don't accept phone calls from retail customers"...
So I tried the "Live" Chat. 45 min wait just for someone to pick up, and then about 15 min of faffing - supplying the same information multiple times. 1h later, his response was that he'll reply to my email. Not sure why I needed to waste an hour to get them to do their job, but there you go.
He replied, requesting photos. I sent them straight away, showing the defect and comparing the two shoes. 5 days later, still no reply.
It's now going through PayPal complaints. Hopefully, I'll be able to get my money back.
This is no longer the Wiggle I used to love. It seems they are trying their hardest to provide an awful customer service and avoid repeat business - and they're succeeding! I'll never use them again.
No customer service phone number.
Repetitive email replies from customer service agents who do not seem to understand or try to solve the problem.
No contact details for complaints.
Bought an expensive EVOC cycle case. The wheel fell off within 2 minutes arriving at the airport. I asked for them to help, but all I had after a month was there was no spare parts and i just needed to wait. No offer to replace the bag. I had to chase up twice via email and a third time to ask for a replacement bag. They have no one you can call or talk too which makes ever interaction painfully slow. Go to ChainReaction cycles, they have a call centre and resolve issues very quickly.
I sent a faulty watch back to Wiggle and requested a refund as I had been unhappy with the watch while it was working and was going to purchase a watch from a different brand (at over twice the price of the original watch I purchased). I have now been without watch and without a refund for almost a month despite hounding them constantly to get this resolved. I would have ordered the new watch from Wiggle, however this has dragged on for so long that I've now just ordered one from elsewhere.
What now a rubbish company with customer service, since merged.
Before brilliant, now not interested in the customer, and the returns process now is like chasing a F1 car in a Mini.
Avoid these & chain reaction (sister company)
I order a wetsuit from wiggle, it arrived with a small tear in it. I contacted their customer service department who requested photos of the tear. I was refused a refund and accused of damaging the wetsuit myself, I sent a complaint to their complaints department who were rude to me on the phone, told me to "prove it was them and not me" and left it at that, any attempt to contact them has resulted in them ignoring me. I am now £160 out of pocket and I couldn't participate in a triathlon I had paid for as I had to send the wetsuit back unused.
I will never shop with wiggle again and will encourage everyone to do the same
I ordered a few tubes of rehydration tablets on the 28th May. I still haven't received them on the 15th June. They haven't replied to my email, except for a computer generated response. I've had to ask PayPal to retrieve my money. This company used to be the best until it merged with Chainreaction Cycles. Won't bother with them anymore as I've had this bad service a few times now. Absolute rubbish. Don't waste your time or risk loosing your money.
Purchased a mountain bike for Christmas. Within 6months (bike only used for 3 months) the gears were not changing properly. They advised to get a bedding in service which I did at a local bike shop which cost £30. (The bike shop offered free bedding in services to their customers that purchased bikes from them) I had to get a new bracket fitted because of clunking (£25) and the reputable bike shop said this would of been down to poor manufactiring and quality control. Wiggle said it was not covered under warranty. So my advice is never buy a bike online and if you do check out the warranty first. I will not return to wiggle for further purchase.
Answer: No. Their "chat line" is never open or at least never when I have tried to contact them
Wiggle has a rating of 1.5 stars from 104 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Wiggle most frequently mention customer service, next day and phone number. Wiggle ranks 69th among Cycling sites.
