Buyer beware!

Buyers beware! I purchased a 260 pair of cycling shoes to be delivered to Canada without shipping charges. I was then charged 100 dollars by the delivery company. I accept import, duties, and taxes, but this charge is far beyond that. It's also deceptive, as wiggle indicated 'no shipping fees.' So far, I've been brushed off by wiggle and told to contact the courier. Will update if this changes.

Black men only make 1.5% of the population yet they feature in more than half of the man menu navigation images! What about Asian men? Or even black women? I will try to buy elsewhere unless you work on diversity as far as the representation of 'ethnic' population goes.

Use this website for cycling attire- always the best price and they award customer loyalty by giving additional discount on what are already great rates. Excellent cutomer service, super fast delivery and very good on returns. Highly recommended.

Awful Customer Service
September 4, 2015

2nd time I've used Wiggle and will be the last, in their defence my delayed order was an error on the part of one of the 3rd party delivery company's they use but having to put up with irregular timed responses/updates via email only was utterly ridiculous and frustrating to say the least, never again! They will lose lots of customers gradually over time no doubt..

A week after making my order I received a completely different item.
Two weeks later, after dealing with customer service and returning the mistaken item, I was contacted by Wiggle just to be told the item I originally paid for was out of stock.

I wouldn't recommend Wiggle to anyone. There are similar more efficient merchants online with better service.

First time using this site, for a couple of items for cycling, found the prices to be very good and cheaper than amazon where I used to buy this product.

Delivery was very quick and tracked via royal mails website, and included a small bag of haribo sweets which was a surprise.

Goods for me
Sweets for kids
Overall = Two happy bunnys!

Free delivery to Switzerland also a great plus.

I feel I had to warn others about buying from Wiggle. I bought a carbon mountain bike which was damaged. Their response to emails is in excess of hours and that is in between each email so it took days to sort out. This was compounded by delivery problems.
I do not like companies that changed their attitudes once they have your money. It leaves you cornered, defenceless and turns excitement into total frustration.

Placed an order in may 2020, and never been delivered.

Wiggle says the package has been shipped and delivered. Paypal refused to refund due to proof of delivery ( are you serious?) No communication at all with customer services.

Very disappointed
December 15, 2020

Long story short.
I placed an order for a 650 inner tube, after about 5 hours I found a new one in my shed. Quickly I've wrote to wiggle asking them to cancel the order. The reply was stunning: "To ensure we get you your order in the quickest possible time, there is only a very small window to cancel or amend. This is due to the majority of our orders being processed and dispatched within hours of being placed. With this being said, unfortunately we are unable to amend your order because it has already been processed in our warehouse system."
I replied saying that in UK is a 14 days cancellation policy if you purchase anything online or over the phone.
No reply from them.
I did received the item, but I don't need it anymore.
Up to you, but I'll take my business elsewhere.

Awful online company

Why this awful company insists on using Hermes as a courier is beyond me. Avoid like the plague. Once they have your money you're onyour own. They have no idea where your order is. It's impossible to contact them. I ha e ordered twice now through wiggle and both times Hermes have failed to deliver. Save your money and go elsewhere

They have terrible shipping prices which turn out to be quite expensive, and in my case, I didn't even accept the shoes because of the added costs of paying import fees. I requested to have them sent back for a refund but lost around $40 from shipping fees. Customer support takes far too long to reply and it's only be email.

Don't waste time and money with this company they will never pay your claims I had bike insurance with them for 2 years, after the pedal been reported stolen to the local police they refused to pay i haven't received any penny even my insurance was 10 pounds a month.

As stated above; Wiggle sucks! I have ordered several times with Wiggle, due to their good prices. However, that's done now. No more! The low price is not worth all the hassle if the product is not good. And unfortunately, that seems to be often with Wiggle. And like mentioned in this forum; customer service really is ridiculous!

Latest order: Windproof gloves. According to the size chart on the Wiggle site I order a size L and guess what: too small. So I send the product back at my own expense (don't even think that Wiggle will reimburse you in this case)! I told them send me a size XL. What happens: I get again the exactly same pair of gloves! Yes, size L. Tried to solve this with customer service but they do not respond quickly in case of problems. Never again!

I have used Wiggle for many years, but since dealing with their customer services I shall not be going back. Months of time wasted trying to find out what is happening with warranty claim and in the end had to demand my money back, which they duly refunded and described as a good will gesture. Surely returning my money after they have failed to repair or replace their defective product, is a legal obligation, not a good will gesture?

Bought a 2Xu wetsuit that i particularly wanted. It arrived dirty, with 5 seam gapes, and the pattern on the neck worn off. No labels also which has me thinking it was a demo or a used return.
I put in a complaint, and was offered 10% off an entry level wetsuit and expected to return the current one at my own cost (probably costing more than the discount on the unwanted wetsuit).
I suggested a refund of the difference of what the wetsuit would have cost second hand and have got crickets in return. They have also not address the fact that their was a missing item (wetsuit lube) that should have been in the order.

I purchased a set of Park Tool side cutters and received a chain and a chain locator! A small issue in the grand scheme of things... However customer service is non existent and trying to get a response is impossible as no phone number, online chat not working and email responder says 4-6 days and if not then email again!

My advice would be to not purchase from this company as they do not appear capable of dealing with the small issues...

Ordered a pair of Salomon Hiking Trainer... Great.
Item arrived the next day while I was out... Great.
Item was left at the front door, in clear view from the road with no gate, nit in the pre agreed location of rear porch behind a latched lock gate... Not Great.
Emailed Wiggle, got a response within 12 hrs with a Denial of receipt form... Okay.
No response for 5 days to emails being sent daily requesting an update... Terrible.
I have used Wiggle for years, this will now stop, I will be taking my business elsewhere, as after sales service as just as important as before says service!

There is nothing good to say here. After the bike developed a problem I started the long never ending email msg, s which get know where fast. I asked for a bike box from day one and never got one. That waisted 31 days of my life. I had to find my own box from a local bike shop. Arranged parcel Force to collect the bike which has to go to NI. I'm sure that's just CRC. I'm now 61 days without a bike or my cash. I hope to never be involved with the wiggle web again. I have now asked my credit card to step as wiggle customer service is diabolical. Avoid like the plague.

Placed an order and paid for "one day delivery". One week later no order, nobody knows where it is or when it will be delivered.
Oh, and if you want to cancel it and be refunded it will take "up to 3 weeks" to get your money back. GREAT.

Customer service is a joke, with empty (!?) emails and an useless online chat.

NEVER AGAIN.
