A month ago I ordered a cecilware elt 250 deep fryer. It was damaged shipping. Webstrauntstore, refused the return as they said it was not an original packaging hence voiding their warranty. The original box that it was shipped in was damaged Beyond repair. And now I am stuck with a $1,000 useless hunk of junk. Buyer beware, you have been warned..
Still waiting…Our original order (which required prepayment of $425.00) was placed in June and it is now almost mid September. They keep making excuses about where the order is and the tracking link still shows the order as "processing". We have been given several uneventful shipping dates and now I'm suspecting fraud.
Ordered hotdogs from the site for a concession fundraiser was told it would arrive no later than the seventh (event is on the 10th) when I checked it on the fifth it had not shipped so I called customer service to cancel and they refused to cancel and they won't be here until three days after the event and I'm stuck paying for 480 hotdogs that I don't need because of this terrible terrible horrible customer service do not order from them you will not get your items in time

When i called webstaurant to talk about exchanging bar stools i was informed that they do not do exchanges i would have to return and order new ones... I paid 305 dollars for 4 metal bar stools then I was told there was a restocking fee ok what will my credit be? She then told me i would get 78 dollars back I could not believe that! No way... I send the product back and get 78 dollars back NO WAY they are a rip off company... and then they resale the stools and make another 300, Im out the money and the stools I hope they go out of business for ripping people off NEVER WILL I BUY FROM THEM OR RECOMMED THEM SO THINK TWICE BEFORE U BUY FROM THEM! P.s. The box was smashed and ripped when it arrived...

Wish I read the long return policy before purchasing from this website, why would anyone shop here with this silly return policy? Better off to resell the products you dont want because this store will charge you nearly 30%+ of the original cost just to return it, what a joke!

I placed an order for tables for our church which is tax exempt. I tried to upload the tax exempt form but could not due so in the format required. It said the tax would be refunded if the form was uploaded within 30 days. I emailed it in the beginning of July as I was instructed when i did a "chat" with customer service. When it was approaching the end of July and I had not received the tables, any correspondence on the tax-exempt form, or any information about why there was a delay in either. I again reached out to customer service. I was told the tables would soon be shipping and I would hear from the tax exempt dept within 8 days. I did eventually get the tables but had to complain to get the tax exempt dept to finally respond. When I did get a response it was denied because I had paid for it with a personal credit card (the most convenient option and the option I have used elsewhere on many occasions with no problem.). I was informed that we had been told on a previous purchase (18 months ago)that we couldn't pay with a personal cc. That may or may not be true. I offered to have the church send in a check for the correct amount (no sales tax) and they could credit the payment I had made on my cc. That wouldn't work for them either. Bottom line is we're stuck paying over $100 for sales tax that we should not have been required to pay. Very frustrating to deal with and not willing to work to a solution. Skip Webstaurant! T

I'm a home baker, and I've been ordering flour's from Webstaurant for several months, sometimes 100-150 lbs at a time. Shipping is far less than what I would pay on another large online retailer that starts with "A" and ends in "n" who charges triple the price, including shipping. The flours I like are not sold locally, so I'm very limited.

Another internet company that has no customer service. Don't buy from Internet companies. Buy supplies at local suppliers like Chefs Toys.
We bought a Moffat oven. All they provided is a drop shipment at your door. If your a small business, they have no ability to service. I talked with them. They said we would have to pay for return, be responsible for any damages in the return and pay for restocking fees (25%). How can we be responsible for damages on a product we never touched or saw. Eventually they agreed to return the product. They said they would fully refund us. A month later we still haven't been fully refunded. They charged us a 25% restocking fee and having refunded the warranty we purchased.
Internet companies like this are a bain on the world. They do nothing but take your money. Once they have it, they don't care what happens. They provide zero value.

My rating for this virtual store is negative not even zero or one, as your site do not have such options. I ordered a commercial refrigerator / Galaxy to serve a kitchen in a daycare center. The refrigerator keep the temperature inside above 48 F after installation, although it set on several times between 34-37F. They are referring to a statement in their manual that the unit shall not be plugged for power before 24 hours but that statement is conditional to "if the refrigerator transported on its side." when we received the refrigerator it was on upright standing and also inside the delivering truck. We lost more than the cost of the refrigerator on our food products and service. In response to our inquiries, they send troubleshooting techniques for about 7 days that neither of them worked. They did not send any technicians to come and see the issue. I asked a professional technician to come and check and he found many malfunctions visible including: fan motor not attached to the evaporator to blow air across the coil. After fixing this, also the temperature of the refrigerator didn't come down and stay on the set temperatures below 37 F. They did not send us the replacement unless we cut the cord and send the picture to them by email. This means that we need to have nor refrigerator for at less 7-14 days and we have to store our food products somewhere else! I strongly do not recommend to purchase or contact this online / virtual store.

I have ordered multiple times from this company giving them hundreds of dollars. Recently my packages have all came in busted and broken. Shopping has not even shown up and I had to be refunded for damaged products 3 times in a row! They done nothing to satisfy me after this occurring, told me that I would have to pay for overnight shipping which is well over $200 when it was their fault. Such an inconvenience. If you run a business they will make you lose customers. Your products will never be protected. They come in trash bags.

Do yourself a favor and just order from Amazon. Shortest story I have: I ordered 2 DunJoe Misting Fans for our employees that work hard in the heat. BOTH of them came and did not work. My husband took them out of the boxes, tried them, they DID NOT WORK. He even played around with them thinking maybe there was something he could do to fix them. Nothing... Which is fine right?... because things happen. But when I asked how to return them I was told there was a 30% restocking fee. My response was "so you guys send things that don't work and still get 30%?" And they said oh, well you didn't tell us they didn't work.
From then on they have been back and forth with us and the manufacturer and they have asked for details, pictures, videos of them not working, etc. I'm sorry but who has time for that? It's either I do what they ask, or I eat $265. This is just not how you run a business. This. Is. Why. People. Use. Amazon. They are easy, understanding, and don't give their customers a hard time. Again, do yourself a favor... move on. Do not use Webstaurant. Waste of money but even worse... waste of time. You'll see in the pics, just 2 misters in the box waiting to be returned.

Do not order from this company. They are making all their money on a weird shipping arrangement. They charged me $32 to ship $20 worth of product and I tried to immediately (less than ten minutes after placing it) reverse the order and they would not cancel it. They also will not accept returns.

This site is a scam! Yes that have low price, but where they get you is shipping cost. First the items I ordered came in a garbage bag in a mangled box. No filler of any kind so who knows how many things were dropped on it. And then I find out it does not come with lids! They are sold separately! They don't tell you that in the title, is buried in description. They don't offer that during checkout. So if you are a first time buyer good luck. Customer service also is terrible they don't care at all.

In reality, they sell poor quality items and will make money on it if you try to return. Received damaged bar stool, 30 percent restocking fee and you pay to ship back. Was probably a return that I received in the first place. No packing inside box. Metal just rolling around during shipping. Their response is always the same if you look at other reviews. Bad business practices for the consumer.
Update... They left a "we'll look into this" response below. Sent them the order number and never heard back. Don't be tricked by their phoney responses. I wonder how they can have such positive reviews on their own site... hmmmmm

We purchased a brand new ice machine and sink well from them totaling $3k. Unfortunately due to factors beyond our control we had to return both items, which were within the initial return period and unopened. When I reached out to customer support, they said items would be subject to a 20% restocking fee and we would have to pay for shipping. I asked the if I could return the items to their warehouse myself (I have a box truck with a life gate, the same type of truck that a private company would ship on), and they told me I could not deliver them myself.
Overall I would be paying over $1,000 to return $3,000 worth of equipment. I highly recommend you stay clear of this company, they are unreasonable and charge excessive return fees.

I ordered a bunch of mason jar drinking glasses as favors for a bridal shower then etched on my own design. They were very inexpensive and were exactly as described. Maybe not the highest quality, but considering the low price they more than met my expectations. There was a small issue with delivery, but I contacted customer service via email and a real person responded in less two hours and corrected the error. Customer service experience was one of the best I've had in a very long time. Exceptional. Will definitely use webstaurant again.
