They Charged $6.00 for the part and $28.51 for shipping of a part about the size of a half dollar. I could have replaced the Coffee maker for what they charged in shipping.

Products are AOK however if you're financially challenged, the shipping charges aren't worth the purchase. My purchase is just a bit over $30 with shipping charges almost $20.

The item you were looking to return arrived in good condition and was as described and pictured on the website, so that is why Ashley offered a standard return with a 20% restocking fee and the cost to return the item. The reason that we charge a restocking fee is to keep costs, and ultimately our prices, down for our customers. When you buy from a company that has no restocking fees, you pay for returns that the company handles, indirectly, through higher prices. There are a lot of costs associated with processing an order, as well as returning an order. Most companies do build it into their initial pricing, but we try to charge it only when it is needed. UNFAIR PRICE PRACTICES. I had items in my cart on Friday 4-24-2020 and was waiting on a business credit card to conclude the purchase. When I went to complete it on MOnday, 4-27-20, one of the items had a $210.00 increase... more than 10% higher than on Friday with NO MENTION of a pending price increase which is what they do with some of their items. I assumed since there was no notice, I was good to wait unti Monday. Of course, they won't do ANYTHING to honor the prior price, no apology. As a small business owner, I have been shut down since March 18 so $210 makes a BIG difference to go towards RENT and ELECTRIC Bill when I have ZERO revenue being generated. Heartless.

A total FAIL! First time ordering. You cannot call them. There customer service via chat or email is a waste of time. One rep will tell you one thing and another rep will tell you something completely different. In sum, not trustworthy. Hope this review is helpful.
Just an update after the response below. I tried to order a stainless steel sink without a divider. They strung me along in emails first Bryce then Zoe and finally Christine, saying that the sink was available with custom options and that I needed to complete a Special Order form, which I did. After several emails back and forth, I received an email telling me that the sink could not be modified.

This company is pathetic. They say they shipped items on the 15th still today no delivery. I am two hours from the warehouse. Nobody in the customer service department is very helpful and they feel they have the upper hand like tough you can't cancel the order even if we said it shipped and it's the 21st and I still do not have it. FINE I can control future shipments! I have bout over $6000 of equipment in the last six months. NEVER AGAIN! Only gave them a one because zero was not available!

Ordering from this company is like playing Russian roulette; they'll send whatever they feel like sending and won't correct their error even if you contact them. They believe their clause "we reserve the right to send you a similar product" releases them from any responsibility to do the right thing. Ordered 6 storage bins for flour and received 6 garbage cans stenciled with Janitorial on them, yet someone this was supposed to be completely acceptable. I'm setting up a business and did this one smaller order to see how they did. Needless to say, they've lost thousands of dollars in revenue from me... all because of not making it right on one that was just $100. Not too bright guys. Not bright at all.

They often mess up ordering or don't tell you when something is shipped back to their warehouse and it sits on their floor. They post stuff that is not actually in stock and you think you can rely on them for events. You can pay for overnight shipping and wait but then "oops" they don't have it. When they mess up an order they NEVER apologize. It's NEVER their fault. When their quick shipping ended with COVID, they made customers still eat the costs and didn't change any pricing for their shipping. They do not offer to cover costs for their mistakes. They're like the narcissistic relationship.

I've received 3 orders (1 of which was a partial replacement) and all have had multiple items damaged to the point of being unusable. They tried to blame the shipper but there was absolutely no packing material at all and flimsy boxes were used. There's no way the shipper could have gotten them here without some damage and several items had rust so that does not come from shipping damage. Customer service acts as if you're lying and states that damaged items are normal. I explained that we would not serve products that presented a risk for infection and offered more than once to send pics or return the products. After they finally viewed the images, I recieved a partial refund and partial replacement. The replacement items arrived so damaged they were leaking. I didn't bother even contacting them again but will definitely find another source for products. I'm including a photo that's small enough to upload to this site but have more that better show the degree of damage if needed.

$28 to ship a simple package. Problem is, they're shipping from multiple locations so are acting as a broker? I spent $80 on a few cake rings. They don't care how much it costs you. I don't like the Amazon-like policies that you can buy a subscription for free shipping. No one needs monthly restaurant supply, not even a restaurant.

These charges are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and distance the order is traveling. Usually, the more you purchase at one time, the better your shipping cost will be per item. It is also more cost-effective to ship to a business as shipping rates are lower to commercial addresses. We do have multiple warehouses that may have accounted for the multiple locations that you saw. We do ship some products directly from the manufacturer so that we can carry the widest range of products we can. We also may choose to ship directly from a manufacturer if we are not able to fill from our stock.

I was told the chicken salad I ordered would delay my order. I asked to remove it within minutes of placing the order and was told no. It has been 2 weeks and I have been told my order is on the way, but there is no tracking info. I never received the other refrigerated items I ordered either. I did receive the clear deli containers I ordered which came without lids. I have asked for a refund of my money but it looks like they're only going to give me a credit. Very frustrating. Terrible communication with their customers.
