This was the email I got when I requested a replacement when my product arrived damaged "proof of delivery was not noted for the damage so we can not reship another unit to you. We can however return the unit if you like? A 20% restocking fee and the return shipping would come out of the refund."

Thank you for your review, Elizabeth. Signing the delivery slip states that the order was received in good condition unless otherwise noted. Since this is a legally binding document, we now need to prove to the carrier that this is damage that happened in transit and not while in your possession. If the slip is not signed with the damage noted, the resolutions we can offer become very limited. They____ you with charges. Whether its shipping or return. I understand certain fees are associated with returning items, but only 32% of my money was returned. That 18% less than half. So be prepared for a restocking fee, return shipping fee, and a restock tax. READ THE OTHER REVIEWS ON CHARGES AND RETURNS.

Thank you for your review, Michael. Since we do not absorb shipping costs into our wholesale prices, we do charge the full shipping charge for each order. These charges are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and distance the order is traveling. Usually, the more you purchase at one time, the better your shipping cost will be per item. It is also more cost-effective to ship to a business as shipping rates are lower to commercial addresses.

The reason that we charge a restocking fee is to keep costs, and ultimately our prices, down for our customers. When you buy from a company that has no restocking fees, you pay for returns that the company handles, indirectly, through higher prices. There are a lot of costs associated with processing an order, as well as returning an order. Most companies do build it into their initial pricing, but we try to charge it only when it is needed. I ordered an item for $3. I ordered it around 11 PM eastern time last night. At 1105 PM I noticed the shipping charges were approx $21 for a total of $24. I could not believe. I could have bought the same at the local store for $10. At that late night there was no one in their office.So I wrote a letter canceling the order. At about 730 am this morning, I received an email from them stating the order has been shipped and there is nothing they could do. They say most of their employees working from home due to Covid-19. Then how come they were able to ship so early in the morning. I then called my credit card company and disputed the charges. I told them what happened. This evening I got a email from them they could set up a standard return. They also wrote their company policy is the customer has to pay 30% restocking fee. How generous they are! I wrote to them I will refuse to accept the package when delivered.

Thank you for your review, Swami. I was able to locate the order and reviewed it. I see that we did receive your email on 5/26 at 12:52 AM requesting to cancel the order. We replied to your email an hour later at 1:59 AM to let you know that the order was already printed and loaded to the truck for shipment, so it could no longer be canceled. We have a very fast shipping process, so the order did ship quickly by our overnight team. I reached out to WebrestaurantStore Support due to not receiving one package in my recent order of $250 ( one of many). This one package had about $4.00 of merchandise not really anything but combined with the fact I had other packages from different companies stolen along with this insignificant one anything to help ease the loss would have been appreciated. Company A I ordered from instantly gave me a refund ($20) and Company B a store credit ($40) all these larger amounts than $4 mind you. But when it came time for Webrestaurant to answer my help request their support they refused to help me because it wasn't in their policy. They shrugged their shoulders and said there is nothing they can do. The could only help if the item was damaged. They couldn't give a crap to even give me a $4.00 store credit or a crappy coupon! For me it's the principle of the matter at this point. They lost a customer who spent $500 in their first month and was planning to spend a lot more monthly. All over $4.00, so lucky I found out over a small amount instead of the larger monetary portion of my order. When I told them I'll be taking my business elsewhere, they still shrugged and outlined their damage/Carrier policy no sorry to see you go, no sorry here's a coupon, nothing. In these trying Covid times and with the restaurant industry in peril you would think they'd like to keep a customer they found organically without paid advertising. I will be going through my credit card company, they can deal with the charge back and waste paid man hours over it. I always give businesses the opportunity to step up and hit it out of the park, unfortunately they didn't even bother coming up to bat.

I BOUGHT cooking raisins instead of needed eating raisins. I didn't know. I just thought I got old stock.
Long after return time, I called & the response from 2 different employees was pure class. Utmost of consideration. All was very well taken care of. I know I'm being somewhat less than succinct, but in a hurry. They get 5 *s from me & I'm "ANOTHER HONEST REVIEW FROM PAT OSBORNE" as seen on Amazon a million times. Thank you.

ITEM fine print

Ordered cupcake cups holders. Description read 1" x 3/4" on all. Items arrive and drastic difference in sizes. When I spoke with Sara online, she insisted they were listed as different. Upon our conversation, you MUST read fine print imbedded in the description DO NOT go by the TITLE of the item you are ordering. Then to return, you need to pay the shipping fees, restocking fees then ship new product. DO NOT ORDER unless you are *******% sure that the item and all fine print has been read. Good luck I will not be ordering again

Horrible service

Order sent and paid for almost 3 weeks ago. Still hasn't shipped and I get a different answer from every customer service representative, so I guess they just make it up on the spot.
Would recommend never ordering from this company.

I received an email indicating that some products I was interested were back in stock. I promptly ordered them, and it was indicated I would receive them within a week. Today (a week later) I received an email stating that they "were being drop shipped from the manufacturer and had an estimated delivery of JUNE 30th. I contacted WRS to verify, which they did. When I asked for a refund, they said they had to wait three days to contact the manufacturer, and then they MAY be able to refund. I stated that was not sufficient, as I did not order from the manufacturer. They still refused to process the cancellation.

Our customers absolutely love our containers. They are perfect for our boiled peanuts, juices and all! We believe in severing our boiled peanut hot and the do just that! I even tried it with ice, while the ice was melting the container didn't get soggy or leak. YOU WON A LOYAL CUSTOMER!

I ordered a french fry cutter and 2 other size blades. They made it two shipments, one for the blades, 1 for the cutter. They shipped the blades May 5,2020 and estimated the ship date of the cutter as May 6,2020. As of today, May 11,2020 no shipment and a new ship date of June 2,2020, so I requested to cancel the order and return the blades I received. They want me to pay return shipment and 30% restock fee. There was nothing at the time of order stating the item was out of stock and certainly not that it would be more than a month for shipping. I found other machines on amazon that appear to use the same blades and they have the cutter in stock. I can get $70 off if I apply for an Amazon Credit card and have the item in less than a week. Buy from anyone else except these people. The other reviews that customer service is take it or leave it is correct.
