You are the gold standard! Thank you! Ryan and his team are as helpful as creative. Ne plus ultra!
I am enjoying the experience so far. Had a couple major issues I would have liked to have been resolved quickerand without having to keep calling back. I get kicked out of the system occasionally. Easy to use, user friendly.
There is no help desk ticketing system, only chat. Very inconvenient and time consuming to get help with an issue. Also I been unable to get a transfer auth code for a domain overe the course of a couple of months of trying. I have chatted with two different support agents who assured me the code would be emailed to me and I still haven't gotten it.
Removal of E-mail mailbox services from my main Domain that were available in my old Dotster account but now cost extra under Web.com is a serious diminution of service and will lead to me looking elsewhere
Absolute rubbish. On the rare occasions their website/management tools actually let you in and work, they then don't do the things you want. Or worse say they have and you find out a week later it didn't work, so then you have spend an hour trying to get back into the thing to try again. The prices are way too high, and you would think by now they would learn, but no.
Hi, I have had an issue that I reported/put in a ticket for over a month ago that still hasn't been resolved. I have not been able to put my site live and it's extremely frustrating. I get constant noreply emails saying that the issue still hasn't been resolved. I'm trying to put my personal portfolio site up so I can find a job, and this has been a major setback.
My domain name was said to expire on July 5,*******. I called and updated my payment on July 5 and still have no website. Been with you guys since 2005. And now I have to wait for your team to fix it while I lose customers.
Email isn't working, google workspace never let me even try to use it without trying to extort more money out of me to use it so I lost money on that because a refund was refused. And customer service can only help with issues about half the time. Also, I tried to say 2 stars but then I couldn't leave a review at all. So that's shady
The chatbot was effective in answering my questions. I offer 5 stars however, unfamiliarity with the new interface slowed me down a bit. Overall I like it.
Ultimately, I ended up with a pretty good looking website. But the customer service platform desperately needs some help. It's easy to reach out and receive several options of support, but I don't think any of them communicate with each other. The procedures you must follow aren't very clear, and the only reason I received any calls was to sell me something else. Inserting the SSL isn't something I excel at through these guys, and it took over a month of messaging and phone calls to get it fixed. I don't remember having this problem with other hosts. If you're experienced at this, this is probably what you're looking for. But for me, I was looking for a little more guidance and understanding with what was going on behind the scenes while they were preparing my page. The 3 stars is for my personal experience that ultimately led to an expected outcome, not for the work they did. They probably do fine work if you already know about modernized web hosting. Again, It was expensive, I was charged for three SSLs, and no one seemed to be able to fix the security issue until they called me to ask how they did and I pointed it out to them. That should be the first thing they check, in my opinion. I'm going to keep the page because I like it. Thank you.
I have called to cancel my privacy and sitelocker auto extensions because I never used it and there is no cancellation on the website. After I chat with the customer services. They simply say it is set as auto renewal. I then turned it off, but I was still charged fro 200+ which I did not use the services not even for the last subscriptions. What can of services are Web.com providing, not allowing user to cancel services they have never been used.
I have been trying to embed videos and nobody has been able to help me. I keep being told it has been escalated because it's a technical issue and someone will reach out to help me but that hasn't happened yet. My website also says it's not secure. I don't understand.
This merger has lead to my sites going down and I still haven't been able to restore them. You're charging money for services that used to be included with the domain name renewal. I cannot believe after 20+ years of doing business with mydomain.com this company has fallen to offering garbage service.
I contacted support 3 times to have a domain name that I sold removed from my account. The issue still has not been resolved. I will end up transferring my domains to a different registrar.
I am a long time MyDomain customer with a Hosting solution that includes basic email. After Web.com purchased the company, I was unable to set up new email accounts for my domains. Customer support responded to my support requests but they were unable to solve the problem which is why I give one star. I had to move to another service for email even though my current plan is paid up for another year.
A bit confusing at first but after my questions were answered, it works OK.
The AI feature is useless. It is frustrating to try to get the point across to your AI robot. It really needs more sophistication. If you want to keep customers, shut if off and have a person answer the chat first. Customer frustration will loose customers. My wife will not put up with it, she just moves on to something else or someone else.
They bought out mydomain.com, doubled renewal fees, and eliminated all free features. After 20 years with mydomain.com, I have no option but to move all of my domains and services elsewhere. Web com will fail.
I keep getting different answers for the same questions about my website package, AND getting my domain changed was a nightmare. I first was told it would be about $10, then I was charged 23 something and now I am getting charged an additional 2.50 a month when I was told initially the two charges would include a year for the domain switch.
Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
