Trying to get an email to activate my SSL I have paid for but 2 calls and still not resolved.
I'm in Canada and there does not appear to be a toll free help number available either? So not only do I still have the issue but my phone bill had a 20$ charge.
Abigail had great information and knowledge to help me determine what needs my site would have to have. Since this is my very first website, I was not sure what all would be required for getting it started. She talked me through all of the steps. Rich was also great, who is the consultant I first spoke with to get started and before being put through to Abigail for the initial interview. Great experience.
The customer support team don't know their jobs and they are so slow with their service it was best for me to leave as a customer. They over promise and under deliver on every aspect of their feeble attempt to offer their product
I'm just confused as what to do and the support articles have been written by someone who has done it not by someone who hasn't done it and doesn't know how to do it.
Abigail provided such thorough and meaningful feedback. She was genuinely interested in my company and product. She was a pleasure to speak with and really knows her job! It was such a pleasure to work with her. We started one hour before you close, and ended one hour or more after you close. She stayed on the line with me without any concern through the entire experience. About 20 minutes after getting off the phone, she sent follow up notes including my To Do list. I sincerely appreciate the experience. Great employee!
Working with Web.com and it's professionals has always produced the same results; complete satisfaction. It may take several phone calls and emails but understandable as only I totally understand my wants and needs and not always capable of communicating complete with a single attempt. These professionals work through and with my frustrations to complete satisfaction every time! With the many options for like services I always return to Web.com.
They talk a big talk, but deliver nothing.
Be very careful, They will bill your credit card without your permission even after you cancel, and will lie and make all kinds of excuses not to give it back... run from this company they will rob you.
I would definitely recommend Web.com as they understand and they actually HELP businesses grow and allow them to see the benefits of everything all in one. They help guide and ensure that there is always great customer service when needed. One word to describe them?... AMAZING!
My website keeps going to under construction despite fixing it several times. I will be leaving this service once i figure out how to do so because you need to be a computer geek to understand how to use your software and that i am not!
Top-notch service from the start to the end. Very knowledgeable friendly and helpful service. I have used Web.com previously and have no complaints. I would definitely recommend it to anybody. Prices are very reasonable and perfect for anybody who has a small budget. The person who took the information that is going into the website a Mr. Valentine made my experience with the company feel like I was talking to a friend and somebody who cared about getting the perfect information onto my website so we can get the best design possible. Overall I would rate them in a plus. Thank you Mr. Valentine and thank you web.com
I did not know what I was doing. Chis K. Was very encouraging, and helped me feel completely comfortable with my ignorance. I learn easier by doing then reading and I learned more and enjoyed our interaction because I felt he was someone I could trust to do a good job for my first time. He has a very kind, encouraging, safe voice that put me at ease immediately. Thank you Chris, it was truly an honor to work with you. Donna S.
I have been a client of web.com for 10 years and it's been a nightmare. Steer clear of this client at all costs. My first mistake was to buy the website and buying a long hosting/domain package. My second mistake was giving web.com another chance to redeem themselves. You are at the mercy of their untrained and uneducated customer service reps which will only tell you that they will submit a ticket for someone to review your issue only for them to close out your issue before even resolving the issue. web.com has caused my website to be down due to their own internal billing errors which caused me to lose all the contents of my website. They also are very unwilling to help because they want you to use their paid consulting services.
Erin was extremely nice and gave the upmost respect to my start up company. She was very through with the process and help in all areas where I had questions. If you are new to starting a professional website you have to try them. 100% approved by my standard.
web.com is dedicated for public lange English countries. It is not a global service company. Valve,Netflix, Amazon and Google are global service companies. That is a quite big difference.
I had two different accounts on Dotster. On the conversion web.com combined them all under one credit card so you had users paying for web addresses they don't own or want.
It has been over a month and my domain still isn't assigned though I have followed instructions with customer service. So far I have asked for assistance four times and am still having issues. I hope it's fixed this time. I like the services offered and the company. I just need to get the service I paid for to work.
Refused to refund after cancelation was made in correct time frame. Had to cancel credit card to stop from additional charges. From the first conversation, they have misrepresented and lied about everything. Impossible company to deal with.
Dear Mike,
I apologize you had a frustrating experience cancelling your account, can you give me some more specifics via private message so that we can improve?
Regards,
-Mike
Have used both chat customer service and phone call, getting a 403 forbidden error for trying to access my web domain from outside my user controls. Last week I was told via web.com chat to manually connect my domain name to the WordPress hosting service I purchased through Web.com. I did so, still 403 error. I was then told on the phone last week the issue would be escalated and resolved for me. It is still not resolved. I will be moving my website to another hosting service.
Seeing all the bad reviews I had to put my two cents in and say that I had a good experience with them. I purchased a domain with register.com for. 50 with a promotion and paid only I think 5 bucks for the hosting.
I had a lot of problems with the hosting itself and contacted support a lot regarding it and I threaten to cancel my account which in turn they offered me another free month.
I thought they handled it very professionally and they were always available when I called or while working on my site they would chat with me.
This hosting side does need a lot of work but one thing I did like about it too is that once you register, it will ask for your company name and then all the templates will have your business name prewriten which was really nice since I'm not that good with words.
So four stars from me... they didn't quite get the fifth star but I may try them again and see if I can rate them better.
Thanks for the kind words and feedback Joseph - let us know if we can assist you any further!

Wait for 6 h or more to get someone. After you try to transfer you domain several times, they block you. They take your money, but don't try to move your domain... they will give you bogus codes and basically your domain is lost. I paid mine until 2030... and I've tried for 3 weeks to get a legit transfer code and they keep giving false codes that have "Parameter value range error" A bad company. Stay away...

I recommend that you do not use LogoYes. They are sleazy.
I used them exactly one year ago to buy a logo. Today I discovered a bogus $9.95 charge from them on my credit card. Apparently when I purchased my logo, they set up some crazy unrelated program so that if I don't cancel within the next year, they'd charge me on a recurring basis -- but they didn't tell me about it. I certainly don't recommend agreeing to anything like that. When I called to ask them to refund it, they were not able to refund the charges immediately, but said they would take several days to make a decision. They call it a "promotion", but personally I call it a scam.
I think this is a sleazy way of doing business. I don't recommend you spend your money with LogoYes; there are plenty of other hard-working businesses out there that you can use.
Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
Answer: I had to ring my credit card company and get them to stop the payment
