Recently, I received a damaged or possibly used item. I returned it and told I had returned a different item. I now only I'm stuck with the money they paid for the item as they kept the item and left me with nothing. I reached out to the executive resolutions team for over a month until this day they have refused to return any phone calls or emails.
Horrible quality on products. Photos are misleading on the quality. I spent 35 dollars on express shipping for the last product just to have it delivered 5 days later than promised, they wouldn't refund this and are even making me pay for return shipping. My plumber had to use a different product and I had to pay an extra plumbers fee for their failure.
I placed an order for 3 tables. I only received one. It was obvious based on weight only 1 was sent. I called customer service and was told I had to wait 3 days and call back before they could resend the 2 tables that were showing available on their site. In order to refund all 3 I would have to take apart the one I did receive and ship it back. I asked to speak to a manager and the manager refused to speak to me. I ordered the cutest garden statue for a birthday party gift this coming weekend. I received some sort of grabber device. I immediately went on line to report the problem and was informed my situation would be addressed in a day or two. So I called. Then was told that they would send the correct product AFTER I print a label they send and then drive 30minutes to a ups store and send the package back. This was not my mistake, this was their mistake. Why am I the one who has to do all the work to send their mistake back to the "warehouse" and oh by the way I have no gift, they have my money and " the snarky customer service rep says " I'm sorry your not happy with the resolution". What a bunch of red tape and waste of time and gas money just to correct their stupidity! Never again Wayfair, never again!,,
About 18 months ago i purchased a product from wayfair online and paid with a credit card. For reasons not relevant, I cancelled the online order 10 minutes after placing it and requested a refund back to my cc. 3 days later I get an email from wayfair stating that my cancelation request was too late and the item had already been shipped. I contacted the shipping and had them send it back. I called wayfair and they confirmed it was in their warehouse and they would issue a refund to my card. I trusted them (fool that I am) and went on with life. The purchase was over 2300. Lately I became suspicious and had the bank do a search. The money was never refunded. Now when i call them they too much time has passed and they can only give a store credit. Had i not inquired I wouldnt even had got that. So they had the product and just kept my money. So their model is ignore cancelations, ship anyhow, hoping the customer will be too lazy to return and just consider it a completed sale. Wow. Really. And when you do return it, they keep your money anyhow unless you pursue it immediately. Nothing like above board honest business. I will never purchase anything from wayfair ever again. Hope this warning helps somebody out.
Their customer service chat is a total joke. It's been 2 weeks and everytime I was connected to a real human agent, they told me 'go check your "My orders"', like I didn't check that? And if I'm not satisfied, they simply repeat "are you with me?" "are you with me?" WTF is wrong with this crap company?
Every time I look at Wayfair for an item and then search for the same thing, I find it less elsewhere. Copy and paste the heading of the item and search it. EVERY TIME you can find it for less Every single time. Same thing with Overstock. Don't be duped by the commercials and name.

While there are some great items on Wayfair, if you have a problem - GOOD LUCK. We purchased a bathroom mirror which is supposed to hold up to moisture and the edges corroded in less that 2 years. Of course Customer Service "cant do a thing" but refer you to a phone # of some Chinese company that doesn't pick up the phone. Lesson learned - no more cheap Chinese products and goodbye Wayfair.
I ordered a comforter set for 100+ $ and didn't receive it I tried to contact them for days by chat by phone and they send me to there Executives Resolution team finally there making me pay something that I haven't received at all I tried everything way to do something from the moment I saw there was a problem with the delivery and there Application let you cancel change address or whatever and doesn't summit you request
I don't know how they stay in business. Had 3 broken toilets in a row. They feed you nothing but lies and don't care about the consumer at all. Shattered toilets that looks like was smashed by a sledgehammer. Most awful experience. I'm supposed to get rid of 140 lbs of broken China in boxes as if it was my fault. Shame on this company for existing!
Wayfair likes to lie about when things will be shipped, they will make you wait a month and then tell you that its in route and there is nothing they can do except give you a stupid coupon for ten percent off your next order. WORSE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL STORE ONLINE
My orders with Wayfair do not ship when they state they will. They do not follow up with the customer to let them know when there are delays of any kind, they are not nice nor do they care to help resolve any issues. Its unfortunate, however I will not shop with them again due to their lack of help and concern for the customer. There are far better companies that are very happy to get involved and solve issues for their customers in a timely manner and do what is right. We all spend a lot of money we expect to get great service.
I have bought items from Wayfair many times over the past years. They were always great to deal with. I just tried to order some planters. Seven plants sets. The cost of them was just over 200.00. Wayfair wanted to charge me $150.00 for shipping. Twenty five dollars per item, This will be the last time i try to order from them.
I was supposed to have a delivery today between 11-3. They emailed me after 11 saying my delivery has been delayed. They didn't even bother calling. I just happened to see the email around 11:30. I called to see what's going on and they told me they can't deliver it til Tuesday now at the soonest. I let them know that I would no longer have a need for it if it's not delivered by the promised delivery date and would need to get something else instead. The rep told me that's fine and she will "re-route" the order but I'd need to pay a return shipping fee of over $100. Why would I need to pay for return shipping when I haven't even received the item? She advised me that I could dispute with my bank and just see what happens. When asked to speak with a supervisor, the rep refused.
I called back and requested a supervisor. I was finally transferred to Brandon, a "supervisor" who advised me that I would in fact have to pay a return fee of over $100 due to an emergency with someone on their delivery team and he couldn't go into further detail. When I asked him why I should be inconvenienced any further as a consumer, he advised that there's nothing else he can do. I will NEVER use Wayfair again.
I ordered several pieces of furniture and tray tables all delivered by Fedex. Every order was recieved damaged and the drivers drop and raceaway. I spent money twice to have someone assemble things and on two occassions the could not due to damaged goods. The replaced and even secong shipment on tray rables was damaged.
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! I bought an adjustable bed and it never arrived. So I passed the same order again and this time it arrived with a box completely destroyed and soaked in water. The bed is damaged with bent metal part and ripped fabric. Wayfair customer service is a nightmare, they just want to waste your time hoping you give up. First I contacted support through the chat, I sent pictures of the damaged box, then they wanted to charge me $100 for return shipping. No way! Their own policy says FREE RETURNS for damaged items. So I sent more pictures showing the damages inside the box. Oh now they want me to call a phone number instead of just giving me a shipping label to return the item. So I called the phone number, got put on hold a long time, only to be told that they can't do nothing and I have to contact email support which I already did. Now I am stuck with a damaged adjustable bed that was soaked in dirty water. I wish I could add the pictures to this review.
WAYFAIR DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO RESOLVE THIS SITUATION. I was contacted by the company after my BBB review and it was a huge waste of time. After sending pictures they did nothing to help me. Wayfair policy clearly states 30-DAYS RETURN POLICY and says that they will replace or refund damaged items. IT'S A HUGE SCAM, WAYFAIR IS LYING. They kept telling me I have to deal with the manufacturer, which is not only illegal since online retailers are obligated by law to provide refunds on damaged items, but this is also AGAINST WAYFAIR'S OWN POLICY. To sum it up simple, Wayfair is scamming customers and refuse to honor it's own policy. Stay away from this company, you will lose your money and they will do nothing to help you. Oh and the manufacturer NEVER contacted me to replace my damaged item. WAYFAIR DOES NOT CARE ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS.

I have been a huge Wayfair fan. I have only had good experiences with them and when I have called customer service, I have had very pleasant, helpful people. I haven't had to return anything until now. Nowhere on their website does it say that they only use Fedex as their return carrier and you have to pay return shipping. I bought some upholstery fabric that cost $53 dollars and it was going to cost me $26 to return through Fedex. They did give me the option to return it by my own method, but only after I called. I won't be purchasing from them again.
