I spent $1500 last week and I purchased some items and I accidentally bought two of the same item and I requested to turn it in by something else they wanted to charge me $98 for a return on top of that the professionalism is horrible not to mention some of the products are cheaper than IKEA I would never purchase anything from Wayfare. They got a wrong name they should be named unfair.
Not only was the cabinet cheaply made, Wayfair, via Angi, agreed to assemble the product for $100.00. Unfortunately, they only allotted the kind and hard-working gentleman sent to assemble the product one hour to complete the job. No one, and I repeat no one, could assemble that crappy item in an hour. It took him 2 3/4 hours, the Angi tried to charge us $116.00 dollars more for assembly which would have added up to a grand total of $216.00 for assembly and &175.00 for the item itself. They essentially cheated the assembly person then tried to cheat us. I will never deal with Wayfair or Angi again.
I am so disappointed my order that was delivered and. I received was a king size comforter after I put it on my bed barely had it 2 weeks and started tearing in different places sent them pictures and they lied and told me that it been over a month so couldn't get my refund never again it was my first time ordering from them but not going to happen ever again.
Wayfair has the worst shipping department. We ordered this hot tub in the beginning of May and have been in contact with Wayfair about delivery. They stated that the item would be delivered at the end of June. It is not July. I reached out to them regarding the issue again and now they are saying the item got lost in transit and they are cancelling the order. This is very unprofessional. Number one they didn't let me know that there was an issue to begin with. I'm the one who had to reach out to them for this information. So they just canceled my order and didn't relay the message to me. Number two there was no type of apology it was just a "it happens" response. We have been waiting on this hot tub for 2 months. I don't understand how you lose a hot tub in transit. It's a huge item. I will not be shopping with Wayfair again. This is ridiculous. Especially for a high cost item.
I purchased a pair of tissue box covers in oil-rubbed bronze, but after receiving them, realized the matte black would be a better match to our other accessories. So I wanted to just exchange them, but Wayfair doesn't exchange. You must return and reorder, which is fine, except to return they were going to charge me $13.99. My total order was only $40, so they'd be deducting 35% for the return fee! Outrageous. No thanks. I have to keep them now.
They sent me a chair with a thread-less hole so I ordered a replacement item. Supposedly they shipped a replacement part to me but never gave me a tracking number. Before my order shipped I attempted to cancel it, wayfair told me they could not change because it was "getting ready" to ship. I could return it after I received it but then it would cost me money. Although I thought this was shady and just a way for them to not lose an order, I decided because it was going to cost me money to return, I would keep it for myself instead of the gift it was. The fountain I bought and received begrudgingly, leaks water from the base all over after every use. This started immediately after first using jt. Expensive item, not allowed to cancel before it shipped and received it but it leaks Al over. Real nice wayfair.
Did not get the product I ordered. Wayfair sent a cheap knockoff instead of the ABC Canopy I ordered. When I called them, they said that they will often replace items with "similar" items but that they are of equal quality. The canopy I received was cheap, flimsy and had illegible directions.
They charge you almost half the price of the item to return something that came unlike what the product description indicated. Even a first time customer wasn't allowed a one time oops, so I will not be ordering ever again from Wayfair. Not when you can go to Amazon or Walmart for the same items, most of the time the price is less and for sure a free return.

Bad quality products, too expensive to what it is, I bought four products for Gomez dining set, bed and others. Screws in chairs do not fill well so not safe for adults or kids, I could not assemble one of the chairs. By phone or chat they are so sweet, I requested my money (refund) many times since I bought it in Dec22 and Wayfair makes anything to stuck the request. Initially started the process when I called but surprisingly the refund order was removed by Wayfair finance team, the second time they refunded the money to my Wayfair account, so they wanted me to buy again a bad quality product. The next time again requested to refund to my credit card, they say sure in 3 days you will see the money in your credit card statements, when I called for the follow up as no money refunded they said the process was stucked.
Do not buy on this store as products are not good quality and Wayfair cheat us in the process for refund. I contacted more than five times and everytime I contacted they said somebody cancelled the refund or something stucked the refund process. My worst experience buying online.

First time I ordered firepit and the day it was to be delivered I called and they said it was lost in transit so they reordered. Delivery date came amd they said lost in Transit again. Tried to reorder and oh my...product was on Backorder. I CANCELLED. TRIED again this year and ordered on May 22nd with deli ery of June 5th. They took my money and was " in stock". June 5th came and called and it was now on back order with ship date of June 20th. I asked if the wherehouse even had the product and they said delay was due to whether. It is scheduled to ship 23rd. And arrive the 26th. On 23rd no email and they said whether was reason but the previous person said it was in the warehouse. I looked today and now it says July 8th which is too late for July 4th party I wanted it for. I CANCELED AGAIN they string you along. I wonder if they didn't want to sell at the sale price and just strung along till I cancelled. This is why AMAZON IS WINNING! I will no longer trust anything wayfair says. But won't have to, not going back. Delete this wayfair but it's 100% accuratel
I have bought from Wayfair for the better part of 10 years and the last 2 years I have been scammed by their return policies. The last time, I purchased several rolls of wallpaper and wanted to return 3 of them. Guess what? They tried to charge me $20 per roll and tell me that I had to put each roll in its own box with its own label. After calling them several times and being repeatedly told "they have to do to different distribution warehouses" I finally got them to waive the 2 of 3 fees. This is really deceptive practices.
Who would buy from Amazon, Target, Macys, etc. if they had to return items with X separate fees and X separate boxes? No one. Wayfair doesn't even tell you this in the shopping cart which is deceptive.

Someone made a fraudulent purchase with my card. I was told I would be issued a new card. I waited 2 months to receive it and then it would not link. I called 6+ times and was transferred from department to department with no help. There has been no resolution. The supervisor was no help. I am losing 80.00 in rewards. We normally buy from Amazon and we tried Walmart ( which o don't recommend, Walmart uses third party vendors, which Walmart doesn't stand behind) so, we tried wayfair because they had things we only could get from them. We got this great backboard, with shelves, and it a broken piece. We called them and they asked what we would like to do, return it, have it fixed? Either way they gave aus a discount for the inconvenience. Things go wrong, they always do. It's how it's handled that counts and they have handled all our orders great. To see a one star is hard to believe. If it was Walmart then, ok but Wayfair has been great.
There delivery estimate is always wrong. My dresser was supposed to arrive last week yall, sh** is still in transit with at least a million issues.

So we ordered a birdbath/fountain in May, 2023. When it arrived, it came without a pump so it wasn't functional. We immediately contacted Wayfair and they told us they would get a pump out to us right away. Two weeks later we had heard nothing so we called them again. They had no record of the pump being shipped so they re-ordered it (if they ever ordered it the first time). After another two weeks of hearing nothing we called again. Our customer service person (Ashley M.) was responsive but her ability to do anything to help us was very limited. Because the manufacturer would not send a pump by itself (why did it take a month to find that out?), she offered to send out a whole new unit and then we'd have to pull out the pump and send it back. Our other option was to take a 15% refund and source the pump ourselves. We chose the latter because we had already been waiting a month. However, in the month it took them to come up with this solution, Wayfair had discounted the price of the birdbath $200. We originally paid $830 for it and now it is selling on the same sight for $630. Our discount amounted to $124. The cost of the pump was $65. Doing the math, that means we paid $761 for the birdbath. The total time we spent calling Wayfair and sourcing a pump was probably about 4 hours. That means we spent $130 more for the birdbath and 4 hours of our time than a person who orders a birdbath today and gets a complete unit shipped out within a couple of days. Does that seem fair to you? Maybe not fair – but WAYFAIR!
