I'll never waste my time with this company agin I ordered something and I did not get a return sticker and I needed to return the item and I called them the girl told me I had to pay for my own return so I had to pay $89 for the return I called them they told me they would give me $50 on my return well I called agin they said I don't get the $50 and they don't wanna give me all of my money back they wanna pay me back in payment when I paid in full never no more will I buy from them agin

I ordered six window shades. On the website the fabric looked heavy like a khaki material. However, they sent two pillow cases instead. When I called them they sent out new window shades that were sheer. You could see everything that was going on outside through the shades and vice versa. I called them again and complained. I was told that I owed one of their partner companies $75 which I it never heard of. They said it was from 15 years ago. However they could not tell me where I was living at the time, where they sent merchandise or even what merchandise was ordered. They didn't proceeded to tell me that the account was so old that I was not responsible for paying it any longer. They then closed my account without my knowledge and completely removed the account from all credit bureaus. I can only say that that was the best thing that they could have ever done for me. They are a joke and my plan was to never buy anything else from them. So I guess it worked out fine.

I'm working on my credit and I got their catalogue in the mail, out of the blue! Is that good or bad? Am I a would-be victim, or have I been handed a life line to build credit?

Typically, I do not like getting spam sale products in my email, however this site sends out some really interesting products to help with raising your kids. For example, my kids are always banging up their fingers and they sell this really neat plastic finger protector just for kids. My son hates getting his hair washed due to the soap in his eyes and I saw they sell a special shampoo visor. Very unique items for sale on this site. Prices seem very reasonable.

I finally decided to get a leather purse and it was get 400 dollars merchandise at 25 a month, but now they told me they need 59.99 and the purse is 189.99 they said I didn't have enough credit but the catalog said this is a great way to build credit. Well I was doing it because that was within my budget. My heart was broke I waited for delivery and finally called and was told I needed 59.99 down payment what happened to 25.00 a month. I cant understand why they tell you this then lie about the payment,. I guess I will go to the mall and get the same purse for 79.00 for a Christmas gift to myself. I really wanted to order from this company tho. Guess it's not meant to be. God bless.

Yes, I give Macgomery ward a two star rating because no where does it say that you are not allowed to make multiple payments and then not count towards your next payment it does not say anywhere that you can only make one payment per month because if you don't, then you'll get a late fee I had a customer support team member argue with me pretty much denied everything that I asked refused to let me talk to a supervisor and then when I was getting the information to return my product and get my money back, he hast to transfer me to another department and he transfer me to a supervisor And that supervisor that I talk to you took my five dollar late fee off got me to keep my product and I finish paying off my bill except for the five dollars now if he would've done this they probably could've got a four or five star rating from me They got it too and that's because the supervisor was helpful but I will never order from this company ever again.

Could not even take my order it took 30 minutes to place order they dont understand english 2nd and last order from them very unprofesional the lady was

I I have been a loyal customer of Montgomery Wards for over 7 years I have never missed a payment never been late on a payment three times in a row they tell me I don't have enough credit I have a $3,400 credit account I'm currently using just over $2,000 of that I tried to buy $140 pair of shoes they tell me I got to pay for half of them I call customer service and ask what's wrong with my credit they look they tell me what we don't know you have plenty don't know what happened sir can you connect me with somebody that does know well no they're just going to tell you the same thing we don't know what happened this is the third time I will never buy from them again

I never had issues with Montgomery Ward & no issues contacting them. I'm showing pictures of the things I ordered and my home feels absolutely warm and comfortable. I bought carpets, curtains, slipcovers,, wall decors, and this pop up tree is awesome. Especially for me because I volunteer my time a lot and hardly have time to do anything especially decorate for the holidays. Little things make a Big Difference and I'm finished with my Christmas shopping too. I wanna say Thank You Montgomery Ward I couldn't of done it without you

Ordered two sets of sheets received one and a pool toy had to pay 9 dollars to return their screw up

RECENTLY PURCHASED A 50 INCH TV IN OCTOBER AND IT STOPPED WORKING IN NOVEMBER AND I JUST ORDERED SOME ITEMS FROM THEM THE ADS APPEARED YO BE A NORMAL SIZE AND THE PRICES WAS DEFINITELY FOR NORMAL SIZED ITEMS BUT WHEN I OPENED THEM THEY WERE SMALLER I ALSO GOT THIS CAN OPENER PLUGGED IT UP FOR LESS THAN 10 MINUTES AND IT STOPPED WORKING AFTER 4 YEARS OF BEING A GOOD CUSTOMER NEVER LATE OR MISSED A PAYMENT I WILL NO LONGER BE A CUSTOMER THE QUALITY OF THEIR ITEMS ARE VERY POOR

Years ago there where several Montgomery Ward stores in Maryland. The major store was on Washington Blvd. The other was in Golden Ring Mall. Because of the huge shop lifting epidemic that took place the stores where forced into bankruptcy. The Washington store went first. The the whole mall was taken down. I loved this store because you could find something for everyone. It made Christmas shopping so easy. They also had a catalog that you could order from right at the store. If there was something they no longer had or where out of you could still get it. For instance people who wear wide shoes like a triple E could order the shoes they like in the store in this wide size from the catalog. Montgomery wards has so many different things. If I still had my little dog I would surely get him this water bowl that looks like a toilet. Check it out in the pet section, hysterical. Montgomery Ward is unique because they carry such a wide variety of almost everything. I have never had any problems with orders or returns. I really like the conversation vine rack. It is really cool. This would make a nice gift for anyone who enjoy's wine. It looks like a glass and bottle of wine. The glass holds the bottles and the bottle holds the glasses. I've never had a worse experience dealing with a company in my life. They allowed someone to buy over $300 worth of items in my name without a credit card or any other form of payment, ship it to an address other than my home, and then billed me for it. Every time I have attempted to call in, I spend at least 45 minutes on hold then speak to rude customer service representatives who act like the whole thing is my fault. I had to fill out an identity fraud case with the federal government and FAX or MAIL that information to Montgomery Ward. Fax or mail, in 2022, unbelievable. Then they kept billing me and after spending another hour on hold, a rude customer service rep told me that they just didn't get my fax. I was also told that they put a hit on my credit report as they now consider me past due! The rep told me that the only way to get them to retract any damage that Montgomery Ward has done to my personal credit is to re-fax this form. I have never had a worse experience with any company in my life.
