On 21 October I made a purchase from Walmart.ca. I received no e-mail confirmation, so the next day I called Walmart's customer service and was told that they had not received any order in my name. I therefore ordered the item again. I still received no confirmation, but a couple of days later the item was delivered. Next day I received an e-mail telling me that my order had been shipped, and needless to say, a couple of days later, the item was delivered for the SECOND time! On Walmart's website I learned that because the purchase was from a third-party seller, I had to contact the seller. I did this, but got no response. Eventually, after I'd called Walmart several times, they got the seller to send me a return shipping label but the seller said I had to pay the shipping costs. Since this whole issue was the result of Walmart's error, I objected, and after another couple of calls to Walmart I found somebody who agreed to send money to cover my shipping costs. He sent me an e-mail while I was still on the phone confirming this, and the money was credited to my credit card the same day. I therefore returned the item and on 18 November I received an e-mail from Walmart confirming that a refund had been approved. However, the price I had paid was specified correctly as $164.92, but the amount I was being refunded was only $114.92. I called and pointed this out and was asked to wait until the amount had come into my account. I did, and it was of course wrong. I have since then been trying to get Walmart to refund the difference, $56.50 ($50 plus HST), and I am still waiting to receive this money. On 2 December I was told that the refund had been approved on 27 November but that the amount could take up to 5 business days to show up on my card. Nothing happened, so on 10 December I called again and was told that it could take up to 10 business days. It is now 12 business days since the amount was supposed to have been sent, and I have yet to see it. To date, I have had to call Walmart 20 times and have been told at least 4 times that the issue has been escalated to the finance department, who will contact me in 2-3 days. This NEVER happens, and I now realise that Walmart are lying to me, as they have done repeatedly. They have not approved a refund, and have no intention of doing so. I have no way of finding out why not, because I am not allowed to talk to anybody in the finance department. I can only talk to customer service (presumably in India), where they know nothing about the matter. I now immediately ask to be put through to a supervisor, but even these cannot help. They say they can't see why the money hasn't come into my account, and that they will escalate the issue and I will hear from them – in 2-3 days!
This is the worst customer service I have EVER experienced. It's not much comfort to know that I'm clearly not alone. I will NEVER buy anything from Walmart.ca again and if I can avoid it, I will never again set foot in a Walmart store.
I bought "Dempster's® Everything Bagels" as part of my online delivery order. Received this product with animal bites (would guess a rat) in the bag and the first bread of the bag. Marks are very irregular and a piece of the first bread is missing. This, in my opinion, is disgusting and shows poor management in how they store their products. No quality check either when their a fulfilling the delivery orders...

I wanted to purchase a set of Apple airpro earbuds and they had them in stock at my local store. I explained to the senior team member in that dept that I had a concern that my purchase might be a duplicate. She told me that would not be a problem if I had a gift receipt and the package had not been opened.
Well, it turns out to be not the case. Customer Service informed me that it was a final sale. There was no signage to indicate this, no mention from the Electronics Dept or anything written on my bill. The CSR basically told me that I was totally out of luck and there was no one senior that I could escalate to
This simply is not right. I thought i had asked all the right questions and explained my concern before i paid for the item. Buyer beware if you try to return anything from the electronics dept. You'll be S. O. L.
I returned an item but never got my refund.
Two customer representatives I spoke with lied to me that they'll get back to me and that I'll get my refund the next day.
Bottomline is I didn't get my refund and I returned the product already. Never going to buy from Walmart ever again.
It happened more than 1 time. When I check their website the item in stock, but when I get to the store there is none. They should update their website more frequently.
I ordered a tv on sale on Black Friday. Courier picked it up and it was transferred to my city within 2 days, but had a status of "held at terminal" for a week in my city. I couldn't get a hold of the courier as I was perpetually on hold. So called Walmart customer server and inquired why it was held at the terminal in my city. They said they would get in contact the the courier. The next day, my order was cancelled. Phone Walmart back and asked why, they said they didn't want the customer to be unhappy with slow delivery. So the Walmart's solution to keeping a customer happy, is to take a item you bought on a once a year sale and cancel it so I no longer have to wait for it. Brilliant. The only upside, is that I did get my money back so I can spend it not at Walmart.
Walmart promised to contact the shipper of an item that cost $9.61 online but didn't after they charged me $18.95 for shipping in my own country. "Shipping is NOT free" contrary to Walmart's shipping webpage which states that shipping is "Free on orders above $35 before taxes." BEWARE! READ "The Walmart Effect." DON'T WORK FOR WALMART! The worst experience and all their customer service is in India, and they can't do anything there. Ordered 3 items Nov. 23rd. 2 show up, and one does not. Now the tracking states that they are waiting for the carrier to come get the last item for the last 2 weeks. Only thing that gets accomplished when you phone customer service is they escalate it. What a joke. Trust me, stick with Amazon, because their people are so far out of their league when it comes to fixing their own screw ups, I don't know even think they deserve to be in the game at all.

I was disappointed
The ad was misleading, I thought I was getting 3 toys. I only received one Barney, it took 3 weeks to arrive, it was shipped from china
They are trying to be amazon but ARE NOT amazon. The customer server is absolutely terrible where in contrast amazon is amazing.
I recently purchased a computer monitor on a black friday sale, they shipped some weird 5in 1 grill. Amazingly, the box says cuisinart on it (that has the shipping label)
You'd think this would be easy to fix, i've paid for a product they haven't supplied it but no.
First, I was told i can take the grill back to the store and get the order cancelled but can't rebuy the monitor at the price I paid originally
Next, I was told they will elevate it but it's complicated yada yada... it's really not that complicated.
Overall it's going to miss Xmas and is going to be a huge pain in the $#*! to fix when the whole issue is on them. They enter an agreement by taking the money. If they haven't fulfilled the agreement by shipping $#*! THEY have to fix it I don't have to run around the universe to try to solve it.
I'll be filing a charge back soon but the message is AVOID using walmart online - what is happening to me is not uncommon as you can see from MANY of the stories on here - use another retailer walmart is having some serious issues with their online selling.

I ordered a bed frame end of July and the delivery person never dropped it off because he couldn't reach me. My cell was out at the time. He shipped it back and since then I decided I would get my money back instead. It's now dec 4th and no money. When I call them all they say is 24 to 48hrs or 7 to 10 business days but it's been months. I'm now reading the reviews and it seems like others don't get their money back either. Can they get away with this and keep ppls money? Isn't that a crime? Who can I speak to about this? There's gotta be a hire up to speak to
Ordered items for christmas on Walmart.ca. I received incorrect item. Have contacted online chat and called on phone several times but still have not received correct item. Was lied to by being told they would get back to me within 24 hours two times now and this did not happen. On the online chat was told that item was a final sale which once again was not true. Due to covid l am unable to go to store because my husband is immunocompromised and we are in isolation to prevent coming into contact with virus so l ordered xmas presents

Worst customer service, they cancelled my online order which I ordered on offer saying out of stock and after the promotion ended they sell the product on full price. They treat their customers like fool and even when you contacted to their higher management team for issues they simply says can't help.

Think twice before placing an online order from Walmart Canada. This is my third experience with delayed product arrival so I am finally done with them. I ordered a fireplace fence from Walmart Canada on November 4th. The cost was immediately charged to my credit card. I kept checking the tracking and noticed that the item stalled on November 12 with a notice that this item had been delayed. After one more week, I began telephoning Customer Support in India. Although the individuals were very pleasant, they simply sent my complaints on to the supplier. I have received emails in follow up but no fireplace gate. I even went to the store after the online tracking showed that the gate had arrived but was told they didn't yet have it in their system. It will be four weeks tomorrow since I ordered and Walmart took my money.
NEVER ORDER ANYTHING ONLINE WITH WALMART ESP TV> Blackfriday sales advertised a RCA TV 50inch for $248. I went online exactly at 9pm during the sale launch, the TV was in stock online. Purchased by 9:02 pm. waited 3 days for an update / pickup. The order ended up delayed, when contacting the service dept via online chat or call (REP KHAN) was helping me, did not offer any solution other than to cancel the order. The order was cancelled without my consent, and the price of the TV went back up to $365. Terrible serivce, false advertisement. Just dont have an online Order system if thats how you operate. We went to Walmart Mississauga Rd, Brampton location on Nov 27 morning around 10:30 am, the lady was rude at the returns counter, plus she opened the sealed item we returned, when we asked she said she had too.
What was the reason to open a sealed item?
I did order a package on August 9th, 2020 and today it's November 23th, 2020 and still I haven't received my package nor my refund.
It's a constant back and forward between Walmart getting a hold of the third party seller. Walmart does not take responsibility for what you order on their website.

In trying to be environmentally responsible - which I guess was last year's woke mantra - I have always taken my reusable cloth bags when shopping at Walmart. Now, at check out, even though the clerk is wearing a mask and using hand sanitizer regularly and touching all of the items I (and many other customers) have already touched, they refuse to touch or pack my reusable bags. Strange things is, they have absolutely no problem touching and packing my items as long as I shell out 15 cents per plastic bag - which I am sure is saving the planet and not going into the CEOs pocket! Meanwhile, while I try to quickly pack my $400 + worth of groceries which has all been shoved into a tiny 2' x 2' space, 3 or 4 Walmart employees stand around with spray bottles and paper towels waiting to wipe everything down. What if I was a senior citizen or a handicapped person trying to do this without assistance. I expressed, on two separate occasions, how I was displeased with this sudden lack of service and they said it was Canada Health's mandate. I suggest this is baloney. That I know of, Safeway also does business in accordance with the same mandate that Walmart does and they simply ask customers to wash their bags regularly but will still pack them. I have always appreciated how difficult the Walmart clerk's job is and have always told them that I appreciate their service. I also use the self check out whenever possible. To me, this substantial change, all in the name of COVID, is just an excuse to provide less service to their customers. If Walmart is going to keep this policy, then they should be giving customers who now have to pack their own bags, a $15 dollar per hour discount since they are now forcing the customer to do the clerk's job! I cannot be the only customer who is getting tired of COVID being used as an excuse to provide less customer service.
I successfully proved that Walmart has stolen my money and with many documents provided to Nicolai Salcedo, he said, Walmart cannot do anything more. Then, they blocked me on Twitter and Facebook.
Answer: After the bad experience, Walmart will not be my first choice for shopping. Bad customer service and employee behavior.
