Hi, i ordered a dress off of this website in april for my prom. I gave notice of 2 months and it did arrive in time.
The dress i ordered however was nothing like the model and so i had to return it. After a lot of hassle they agreed to give me a refund so i shipped it back to them (with a cost of £16).
After receiving the dress they then withdrew this statement and said they could only offer me a half refund which was NOT acceptable.

ADVICE!
1. pay via paypal and if you have any problems open a claim with them
2. When vponsale agree that if you cancel the claim they will refund you, DO NOT believe them
3. Escalate the paypal claim asap and tell them everything you can about how you are not satisfied, keep all emails and details and take pictures documenting your problem.

I managed to get a full refund when i contacted paypal and they were much more understanding. I am trying to put this on as many review sites as possible but i would advise you not to use this site as it has caused me way more trouble than it is worth!
I also managed to get a much nicer dress for more than half the price so i wouldnt bother!

I know that vponsale has had positive reviews but they were just lucky!

The dress was fantastic! It arrived in great time so I had time to try it on. It looked great on and the colour was lovely. My only criticism is that it was a bit long (that could be my fault with the measurements) and that towards the end of the evening there was some wire in the bust area that was beginning to poke through the fabric and dig into me.
Other than that, it was a great dress and I would buy from this site again, definitely!

I ordered my prom dress at the end of January for April. VP told me it would arrive at the end of March. I am still waiting. They have responded to 1 email saying that they have a busy season a head and it will be with me in time, I have since emailed them twice and am yet waiting for a reply, my prom is next week and i have no dress.

This dress is the best! My bridesmaid loved it! I had 3 different ones but this one is the cutest! I would love to post a picture, as I made it red with a white belt, it´s so well made and I loved! Amazing, keep up the good work and low price and you´ll have a customer in me forever! Thanks!

Received my dress yesterday - 3 days before my friend's wedding, despite ordering over a month ago and specifically requesting to be delivered 3 weeks before the day in case I need to alter something.The website responded to say they will deliver 2 weeks before the wedding... so much for that promise! The dress is hideous, I would not wear it to the grocery store let alone a special event! The stitching is appalling, whoever made it, has no idea how to saw clothes. Besides it's too long despite them asking my height in advance and the height of the shoes I'll be wearing.The rest of the fitting is far from being standard size 8.
Have emailed them and complained and the resolution they offer is to take my measurements and a picture in the dress and email this to them, so that they can send me another dress at a discounted price! Why would anyone in their right mind pay for another disgustingly made dress?!
I am hoping for some assistance from Paypal as they are normally very good with buyer protection.

I'm very pleased with my prom dress. The dress and the service are impressive. Timely delivered and good price. The dress was very well made and it fits perfect!

I am VERY upset with these folks! If you need a dress that is custom made, DO NOT purchase from vponsale. I ordered a bridesmaid dress and a jacket and neither were "custom made". Despite submitting ALL of my measurements, the dress and the jacket did not fit. The jacket's sleeves were so small that I couldn't even put it on my arms. I measured the jacket with the aid of a dress maker and she also confirmed that the jacket's sleeve girth was significantly undersized for the measurements submitted. Also, she confirmed that the hip measurement of the dress was undersized for measurements submitted. I reported this to them with pictures of the measurements. They initially reported that they would make a new jacket in time but then a week later said that it wasn't enough time. Now I have a wedding in two weeks and will have to pay a hefty fee to get the dressed altered. The jacket will require extra fabric to be put back into it. The jacket alteration will cost more that the jacket cost. So, not only will they not custom make your dress but they won't correct any problems created. GO somewhere else!

To be honest i must say i am just satisfied with the last order. I ordered two bride's dress for my cousin's wedding and got them just now. Its been delayed by more than a month and i had to call them up continuously to move my order. But am really happy with the dress. Its looks awesome and am sure my cousin will be happy.

I ordered my invitation cards. They took too long to respond. Everytime I called there was no answer and no one on chat support is responding to my message.
I was suppose to purchase a dress and now is afraid.
Price is good but service is not there.

If I could give this website negative stars I would. My mother recently ordered bridesmaids dresses for my sister's upcoming wedding. Not only did the dresses arrive and were the wrong sizes but they also did not look like the pretty dresses shown online. When my mom contacted the "company" they made her email them pictures of the girls unable to zip them up as proof they did not fit. In response the company asked my mom to have the dresses altered so they lace up the back! WTH? When she told them she just wanted her money back the response was she could ship them back at her expense (which they let her know was expensive) and they would refund her 40% of the dress cost. Save yourself the time, money, and headache and purchase dresses elsewhere. This Chinese crap of a business should be out of business!

They are constantly changing shipping dates, can't seem to receive order confirmations when they are sent out SEVERAL times, and for some reason can't seem to make a CORRECT ORDER. I can't wait to get the RIGHT dress and NEVER have to deal with these people again. I love the way the neglect to tell you on the site that they are NOT in the United States and the only way you can get on line customer service is if you are running on Chinese time.

The only thing I would complaint is to order the dresses sooner, It's 50-days waiting! Thanks to God Vponsale made sure all the dresses got to us before the wedding. And dresses are just our sizes, which made us great pleasure!

I just want to thank you for your help and very efficient service from ordering my daughter's prom dress to delivering the dress. My daughter said she felt like a princess from the time she put the dress on. The dress is absolutely stunning and is exactly as it looks on the website, even more beautiful in real life.

Don't ever order from here. Most horrendous customer service experience ever!

I just received my package today. I ordered 3 dresses for my bridesmaids and the dresses themselves are truly stunning!
These dresses are too beautiful to hand back. Just be aware that the colours are not always as they seem on your monitor. Despite my issues with the colour i would recommend this to friends.

I ordered 2 bridesmaids dresses for my sisters wedding. They originally said we would have them by the end of March, I said this will be fine as long as it is no later than that as my sisters wedding is on the 13th April (2 weeks today).

I have been emailing them to make sure the date will still be the end of march and they have also told me not too worry they will be with us. As Friday (25th) came and went I thought I would have heard from them about my dresses being sent out. I didnt so i emailed them and basically told them that if we do not receive them by the 31st March they can give me a full refund as they are useless to me! I did not hear back from them, emailed again on monday 4 times and did not hear a thing and still haven't. We have had to rush around trying to find replacements and we have. I have received an email today to say that my order has been sent and that I will receive them within 3 working days. Like I told them if they are not here by tomorrow they are useless, and judging by the reviews everyone else has given I would rather them not come as I don't want to look like a bag of S**t on my sisters wedding day. I have already taken this to my credit card company and will fight all the way to get my money back, I definatly will not let them win.

Does anyone know what the actual address is? As I noticed that is said america but obviously it is not.

Ordered a bridesmaid dress 2-8-11 and did not receive until 4-14-11. When I did receive the dress it was a nice dress just like in picture. However, 2 weeks after placing order I found out I was pregnant and would be 6 months pregnant at the time of the wedding. Site is very clear that orders cannot be altered once placed and I understood so ordered another dress on 6-14-11. This was on order #*******. The 2nd/replacement dress I received is not identical to the 1st dress although I ordered the exact same dress. The tulle on the dress is a diff shade of purple nowhere near the orig color and even the beading on the waist is diff! I have an email into them but I am extremely dissatisfied wiht this dress!

I placed an order for my bridesmaid dress in early April. I needed it by mid May. The dress cost almost an entire paycheck for me so I couldn't order it any earlier. I chose a standard size based on their sizing chart (ordering one size up in case they ran small). I received my confirmation and replied to it just like they asked. They said they were making the dress. I waited. The week OF the wedding comes along and I STILL do not have a tracking number for shipping. One of the other bridesmaids had received her dress which was sized completely wrong, the bride's dress was also completely wrong as well. This had me extra worried. I got my dress two days before the wedding, and it was COMPLETELY wrong. The bust was one size too small, the waist was two sizes too small, and the hips were three sizes too small. HOW THE HELL this happens I have no idea. I ordered a STANDARD size off of their chart and ordered one size too large for myself. Because of all this stress, the bride uninvited me and told me I wasn't welcome at her wedding. So I started to go through the steps to returning my dress. The company offered me extra fabric to get it fixed at a local dressmaker's at least five times. I replied EVERY time that I would only be happy with a full refund. I realized they were only giving me the run around so I could not file a dispute with Paypal. DO NOT LET THEM DO THIS TO YOU. FILE ASAP. They finally agreed after a month of arguing with them (almost daily in my emails) to let me send the dress back, THEY would measure it and if it was wrong on their part I would get a full refund. I decided I wasn't taking ANY chances so I measured the dress flat and took photos with the tape measure ON the dress and notes with sizes clearly written out. There was no way they could tell me I was wrong. After paying $40 to ship it back via International Express USPS, it took them another week to refund my money after agreeing it was sized incorrectly. So it took a month and a half to get my money back. I will NEVER be doing business with China again. Not only did this company cause undue stress to myself, but also the bride, the other bridesmaid (who's dress was too small as well), and the maid of honor, who's money was taken but the dress wasn't even made at all.

I'm glad I got my money back but PLEASE buyer beware BUY AMERICAN.

I brought 3 of these dresses in black for my bridesmaids and they were all lovely and fitted all 3 girls perfectly! The dresses arrived on time and can highly recommend this dress and Vponsale to anyone.

‎*UPDATE* Okay, now I am trying to be calm, and trust me, considering the circumstances, this is calm. Another one of my bridesmaids just got her dress today. (The dress was supposed to be tea-length and navy) She received a FLOOR length RED dress. I am having all my bridemaids cancel their orders and I certainly expect them ALL to get fully refunded. I will now have to search for a dress that will work for all 7 girls in less than a month. Thank you for RUINING MY WEDDING.

Dress arrived in good time but was the wrong size and the wrong colour fabric. I had sent accurate measurements for a made to measure dress but it was way off. I have to insist on a refund. They were quick to answer queries pre sale but rather slow after sale.

My name is Destiny I recently ordered my prom dress back in the beginging of April my prom is in may on the site it said that it would take apprx thirty days to make ansd sed its been more then that. After going to three different sites and seeing reveiws im scared I won't havve my dress by the 19 qand if I do, it will totally not be anything that I wanted it to be. Im hoping that it comes because as of today my prom is week away. Im stressing and Im not sure what to do. Ive tried calling, Ive sent emails and all I get is a don't worry your dress will be there. I don't want my prom to come and when Im supposed to be getting my nails or hair done not checking the mail and hoping and praying that its there. I don't know what to do but I won't be looking for a important dress online anymore.
