While customer service is very quick to respond, this platforms offering is criminally bad. I am down 300$ and they offer no reasonable solutions despite 8 months advance notice for a show who's tickets are not even available to buy yet.

I contacted Customer Service at Vivid Seats due to having COVID symptoms. They said I could try to sell on another site (not allowed to sell on theirs) but wouldn't give a recommendation. They also said I could ask the venue for help, which is also not where I bought my tickets. I said I'd be ok with just a credit, but they said they have no power or authority since it's just a secondary marketplace. It's just wild to not have policies to mitigate a global pandemic and/or actually care about your customers. I am so disappointed and will not be using them again. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else.

I bought premium tickets online four months before an event and they CANCELLED my order 48 hours before the event saying they didn't have the tickets. They could only offer me much WORSE tickets.

Prior to my purchase I requested the agent specific information on vaccination requirements for the venue, She stated that she looked into the venue requirements and I was given the wrong and misleading information to make the purchase. I am requesting a refund and they state that since the conversation is not recorded, they are not granting me the refund unless the event is cancelled. It's a well established company and the website is pretty good, but their conduct is not honest. The ticket price for the Elton John concert at Gillette stadium in MA was shown around $70, but after fees and shenanigans it was $100 (big difference!). I bought it from VividSeats but received it from TicketMaster (?!), had to download their app and create an account. That practically excludes older people who don't use smart phones.
They did not mention clearly that it was not refundable if you need to cancel (even within an hour), and that parking was not included. Turns out that parking near the stadium cost well over $100! Such a big expense could be a deal breaker for many people, and should be clearly disclosed in advance.
I spent half an hour on the phone with customer service, they essentially told me that I'm screwed. The reps on the phone were from another state so they probably did not know that there are parking lots within a mile from the stadium, where a spot costs $40-$50. Or maybe they knew but would not advise customers even in distress; they would rather take advantage and push you to pay their exorbitant prices for parking near the stadium (those lots ended up half empty, as not many people were willing and able to pay those unreasonably high prices). I asked to escalate and talk to a manager, but the rep said she was not allowed to do that:-/
The Elton John concert was an experience to remember, but Vivid Seats made the preparation needlessly stressful:-(

Do not ever get tickets from them cannot use them after you get to the concert, and even when you go to box office they tell you that they are a third party seller and If I want to I can by 2 more tickets to get in. And god for bid that you do not have a smart phone right after you by the tickets that lovely lady that they call customer service will tell you almost to screw youself to bad. So all in all did not get to see the concert don't know how these people sleep at night. I have to work for my money.

I have used VividSeats periodically without issue, but recently I purchased tickets for a MLB game through them. I received the normal email asking me to accept the tickets into the MLB app only to get a strange message saying my tickets could not be received and try again later. As the date drew closer I spoke to three representatives from VividSeats over two days without success. Through a connection at MLB.com I found out that the seller of the tickets had been blacklisted with MLB.com which is why my tickets could not be accepted. When I explained this to VividSeats they acted like it had never happened before and refused to give me a refund. Never got the tickets - missed a great game. I will not use them again as I don't like being robbed!
I was so Pleased with my experience. I usually order tickets online and often don't call in because it tends to be more of a hassle. I'm so glad I called vivid and spoke with Christopher as he was able to really help me understand the best options and as a result I purchased the tickets on the spot. He Was also very helpful and helping me understand the timing of when my tickets could arrive so that I could plan accordingly. And I only had one voice prompt to answer before I got to a human being which is so beneficial and no wait time I look forward to calling vivid in the future vs online to order my tickets
So they let u buy tickets but will allow the tickets u bought to be sold out from under neath u for more money then they just say sorry n offer u worse seats as replacements that r more in line with whst u originally pay. Ex) I paid 119 each for seats in the lower section 115 while the seats around me were going for way more. So they just oops we lost ur ticket reservation n ohh no! They sold out from under u so sorry but we have worse seats to replace urs with hope ur not mad... $#*! VIVID SEATS!

I purchased tickets 9 months prior to my event. When it came time to transfer my tickets it said another email accepted them. They had me try my other email because they said this is a common issue. After 5 days of no success I contacted ticket master who said someone else accepted my tickets. I contacted the event center who said they tickets are in someone else procession. Vivid seats will not refund my money or provide alternative tickets.
