Worst place to buy tickets
September 14, 2022

Purchased concert tickets 3 months before the event. We caught COVID and we're unable to travel to the event. Found out from VividSeats that our e-tickets were restricted from being resold or even transferred. We can't even give them away. $400 down the drain and there was no disclaimer when we purchased them that we would not be able to resell the tickets. I wish I had 4 arms so I could give this company 4 thumbs down. I will never purchase from them again.

Amazing service!

I bought 5 baseball tickets for $16/seat. Ended up paying $116.90 for $80 worth of tickets. That's a 46% markup in hidden/added fees.

I was online ready to purchase tickets for a Philles games but unable to determine the fees. I called Vivid and fortunately I spoke with Sammy. He provided the total cost and then proceeded that he could do better regarding the cost of the tickets that I was on the website. I was very appreciative and candidly shocked at the offer but of course I took advantage of it. Sammy was very courteous and professional.

Vivid accepted the listing as I entered it then refused to publish the listing on their site
It was explained that my listing was rejected with no reason given and I was not notified
Don't list on vivid they suck

I purchased tickets to a concert & still hadn't received the tickets the day of. When I contacted customer service, they said they don't own the tickets & they're just the middleman. So they actually have no tickets and no control over sending the tickets. They rely solely on the seller. If the seller doesn't send the tickets, Vivid Seats keeps ur money & it's your tough luck. It's a good gig for them I guess but I would never risk buying from them again. I'm out $800 & now I have to fight to get it back.

I used the phone and spoke with a vivid seats representative to place my order. I was told that it was better to place my order by phone and that everything would be taken care of. An advantage of by buying by phone was that the purchase would be taken care of and there would be nothing more for me to do.
But later I received emails asking me to do other things which I did not understand.

I called Vivid Seats customer service for assistance with purchasing tickets to the Atlanta Falcons vs. The Chicago Bears game. A representative by the name of Menchie assisted me with my ticket purchase. She was not only both Friendly and Courteous she was very professional and explained the purchase details very clearly before I made the actual purchase. My overall experience with her was Excellent!

Bought tickets for a event 3 months away. Had a conflict and can't make the event. Was told no refund or credit to bad try to sell them to someone else. Great customer service. With all of the other ticket venues I choose this one. My advice anybody but vividSeats.
