I will only buy tickets directly now. I purchased tickets to a concert. The day of seats were much less and I could have got in the pavilion for less then I purchased lawn seats. Lesson learned because had I purchased directly I could have upgraded seats with my kids.
Vivid Seats is ridiculous. I decided to take my daughters to an away football game and bought tickets for them in the same visitor section that I already had tickets in. The next morning I got my tickets and they were 4 sections away. I called and argued with them for 30 min while I kept getting put on hold for them to talk to "their team". They refused to give me a refund or tickets in the same section. They told me to resell them and buy tickets again in the same section. Seriously?!?! Why would I pay their fees again and risk them giving me tickets in a different section again!
Me and my girlfriend recently attended the Freestyle Explosion show in Tampa. We had 2 morbidly obese people in the seats next to us which forced us to stand almost the entire show. The enormous person directly next to us took up her entire seat and almost a third of one of our seats. Eventually, because of the very uncomfortable nature of this, me and my girlfriend had to leave our seats and go stand at the top of the section for the remainder of the show. Afterwards, i reached out to Vividseats and explained our situation and how it was totally unacceptable. They offered ZERO compensation or anything whatsoever. I basically got a "sorry, that's a venue issue!" Thanks for nothing. Will never use your service again & will advise everyone i know to do the same!
Would not recommend vivid seats to anyone as they could not help me with a ticket which was purchased and not able to access. The app wouldn't load the ticket and was obviously unused and they still wouldn't help me out. Terrible customer service and will not longer deal with this company.
Falsely advertised tickets for Red Rocks. Row 2. Used Vivid in the past, pretty straight forward. But now, I will never use again. They ignore, and they suggest they are waiting to hear from the seller, who is the one that that falsely labeled the tickets row 2. I want, and deserve a refund. Nobody responds. Bots through chat is the only customer service. Impossible to speak to a human. They "suggest" a customer service line, but it only takes you right to the the chat. This company does not care!
Bought tickets on Vividseats but they won't supply them until day of show. Can no longer go to the show, but can't get them to send me the tickets to sell, nor will they relist them on the site even though it would allow them to double dip on the fees. This is the second time this has happened to me with them with plans getting in the way and me having zero access to my tickets to resell locally and recoup at least a few bucks. Literally out hundreds of dollars. Talked to a customer service rep (oxymoron in itself) and was told there is nothing they can do about any of it. No credit, no tickets delivered, nothing.
They sell tickets online and then use another online site to book ticket. So for an event they booked on ticket master once someone ordered them. They raise the price and take their part. I called them to cancel or price match before they ordered my tickets from Ticketmaster. They are so fraud and just need your money. Don't ever use this crap.

I have used Vivid Seats seven or eight times without issue, but this last time I spent $244 for concert, tickets, and the day of the concert, I found out that they sent the tickets to an email address, similar to mine, but not mine. And I tried to access the tickets and it would not let me unlock them. Me and my wife separately were put on hold for a total of four hours to try and have them resend the tickets or refund me, and they did absolutely nothing to help. I tried getting a refund from my credit card company, but it just came back yesterday that they will not refund it. Everyone on the phone was extremely rude and unhelpful. All they needed to do was canceled the order and re-send the tickets, but I realize that it is a scam, and I had to order 4 brand new tickets and eat the $244. Never again will I use vivid seats. Total scam.
They state a buyers guarantee but customer service is such a run around, you'll never get an actual response. Bought tickets that were rejected at the gate showing they were "already scanned in 44 minutes prior." Had to purchase new tickets at the gate and thankfully not a sold out event but i paid way 3x the price because of vividseats. Sellers can list tickets on multiple third party websites then it's up to luck who arrives first. Vividseats obviously doesn't protect buyers from this and the service fees are ridiculous for the lack of, paid $154 to receive two tickets with someone else's name and price showing $35/ticket. Paid $45 at the gate. My mistake for not looking at reviews for this platform prior to purchase but vivid seats was first up on Google search for this event. Don't use this website.

I own a venue called Forte Jazz Lounge in Charleston SC. We've had people come in with tickets purchased on Vivid Seats site. Without our consent or knowledge, Vivid Seats copied our seat map, posted some of our shows, represented our policies inaccurately, sold tickets to our events and on top of that have refused to answer any email or chat or claim any responsibility via phone. Not sure what to do here. But I consider this company to be a scam. Because the patrons have had no malice, I allow them to enter the show for free. Vivid seats pocketed revenue that should have supported ours and the musicians' hard work.

They claim I have the tickets in an email. I asked how I could prove I don't have tickets - the rep didn't have an answer. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told they don't take calls. I bought 8 tks for an NFL Football game in KC and the tickets were a resale through ticketmaster and once vividseats had my money, I was required to go through ticketmaster to access my tickets in my ticketmaster app. I did receive the tickets with working bar codes BUT, due to them being sold through ticketmaster from the original owner to vividseats, it does not allow me to download them into my apple wallet. Once I get to the game, if the service is terrible due to the crowd, I may not be able to access and use my tickets that I spent over $2,100 for and will not find out until game day. I was told by ticketmaster that I would not be able to download them into the apple wallet due to it being a 2nd part sale and they said they couldn't do anything about it because I bought through vividseats. Vividseats told me they couldn't do anything because they were originally ticketmaster seats and vividseats just handles 2nd party sales and they could not do anything but also admitted that they do not disclose this situation of not being able to download their tickets into the apple wallet due to where the tickets originated. The vividseat customer service person was aware of this and admitted that this is not disclosed on their website and they do not offer a refund because it's ticketmaster tickets even though it is vividseats who took my $2,100 plus. Ticketmaster said they could not refund since I bought through vividseats, what a joke. I'm left with 8 tickets that I paid over $2,100 showing up on game day hoping I can access my tickets with such a large crowd jamming up the service on my app due to our venue being paperless. Wish me luck!
