Vital Records Online

Do not order from this place unless you know what is actually needed. They ask for credit card info BEFORE they tell you what they need. They charged me even though I NEVER place an order or even finished the info they needed. They were supposed to drop the info after 15 days - thus not cancel ability. They are still sending me emails about this after 30 days!

Lead you to believe that for $69.00 they can overnight you a certified copy of your birth certificate. It takes 5 business days to receive a one page application and a pre printed label for shipping. Then you are told that you need to pay another $20.00 to the vital statistics to pay for your birth certificate. Absolutely nothing was over nighted and when over a month later still have received any birth certificate. A complete rip off! You can order yourself through any state vital statistics office and have your certificate faster then using this farce of a company. They charged a total of $89.00 and a month and 4 days later still have not received anything. When I emailed them to find out what the hold up was I was told at least another 2 weeks! Research who you use people this place is a true scam!

We paid $69 to receive the application to get a raised seal marriage license. We completed the application and spent another $12 for the required money order to send it to us. Our tracking number shows they received the application to process This was mid November 2018. It is now mid January and we have not received it. We have sent made numerous emails and calls and no one ever follows up. I would NOT recommend this service. We could have driven to SC and got it faster than this service.

I paid for a copy of a marriage certificate, which I did not receive. I should have known something was incorrect after I printed out the application for the marriage certificate and mailed it to the address that was provided. The address that the request should have been mailed to is incorrect. The service is a fraud and I would like my $55.00 returned. Oh did I mention that I had to pay an additional application fee of $15.00? The turn around time, from the time is extremely long. If you have money and time to waste, this service is for you. Otherwise STAY AWAY!

This is the worst! Stay away from this. I'm a new mom with 2 kids and was hoping this is gonna help me have a easy process of having my son's birth certificate. They took my money but no birth certificate! I called and not helpful. I want my money back! Worst worst worst. Save your energy, time and money!

There goes $47.00 to Vital-records.com AND I still have to payout another $12.00 to the state to get the requested document.
I failed to read the fine print. It informs me that I will have to pay MORE money to the state agency, and I must go make copies of my ID to mail in. The downloaded form they provided was a simple state form that could be downloaded for FREE, and very EASY to complete yourself.
The fine print reads: "I understand that Vitalrecords-online.com is a private document preparation service and that I am hiring them to prepare my birth certificate application materials...".
They should have posted this information on the first page to accurately inform the user just what is happening..

After paying my $49.00 fee for Vital Records Online, they sent to me a wrong detailed "return envelope" that was to be sent to my state record office. All you had to do was include your application and other necessary paperwork, place in return envelope. After it was sent to post office for delivery, it was returned to me. Vital Records used my name as a mailing address instead of a return address. It was returned to me; I had to fix THEIR mistake, in order to remail. I lost time in their mistake. If you can, call your OWN state office and go through them directly.

They charge you money and they give you nothing. Its over priced for for what they claim they do. I've been fighting with the "customer service" by email and they repeat the same messages its all a scam

I paid $75.00 for a certified divorce decree and never received it. I paid $55.00 for a certified birth certificate and never received it. The person who answers the phone only says I should have received them both. No refund just a huge waste of money and time.

**DONT USE THIS COMPANY***I submitted a request for my birth certificate a month and 9 days ago and paid $150 for expedited service, plus notary fees. I still haven't recieved it. I've emailed them 3 times and finally called the health department to see if they recieved request from Vital Records and there is none. I requested a refund because of this and was told I couldn't get one because they processed it on Jan 3rd. Really then why hasn't the health department recieved it? Don't use this company just go thru the health department where your requesting a copy. Now $175,1month+ later I have to start this process all over. I needed my birth certificate asap for DL and registration in new State. Wish I would have known this company is a waste of my time and money. CLOSE THEM DOWN MAKING MONEY OF PEOPLE SAYING ITS EXPEDITED SERVICE WHICH IS A LIE- THEN NO REFUND.

Not sure I understand the point of the service or why anyone would pay the $40 I was succered into paying thinking it was my State Vital Records Office's online program and all I got was a form completed for me which was not needed to obtain what I needed in person. Waste of money.

My fault, I failed to read the fine print that says I will have to pay additional money to the state agency, and I must make copies of my ID to mail in.
