I can't believe I paid over $40.00 for this company to fill out a form for me. They do nothing else! They don't know how long it will take to get my birth certificate even though they advertise easy fast service in getting your information. Now they also have some personal information that I'm not sure I want them to have. I should have been smarter than to fall for this scam
This service is a SCAM. They make it sound like they are an official service then don't deliver the documents you've paid for. After 4 months my birth certificate never showed up and they claim it will be several MORE months. I checked and the government's wait time is 25 days. They have no intention of delivering my order and claim they will not refund because it has been more than 120 days. But when you don't deliver the product that has been ordered, that should not matter. The fact that this service is a scam is all over the internet and I'm ashamed I fell for it.
Ordered a birth certificate for my son and paid for all the extras as I cannot get to our county seat to order from the health department very often and this appeared to be faster. Fast (2-day) processing took 29 days (Dec 28-Jan 23) before it was sent to the health department. Overall it took 42 days to receive my order. Save yourself time and money and take a day off to go order it yourself.
I am still waiting for my birth certificate to arrive, it's been almost four months and I had to pay 124.00 dollars and then another 40.00. I am hoping it's a certified copy, I need to get a real i.d. and have been waiting patiently.
Beware of another company using a web site very similar to vitalrecordsonline.com - I had a very nice conversation with a gentleman in Atlanta representing vitalrecordsonline.com - the company I purchased a NY birth certificate from and within 1 hr cancelled it was vitalrecords-online.com. NOTE THE DASH. They are based in Badalona Spain and are a scam outfit - that denied my refund (by email) no phone #. While I cannot vouch for any transactions with vitalrecordsonline.com, I will certainly say that vitalrecords-online.com is a SCAM, fraudulent company, and that is the company that took my $47 and denied a refund.
This site is a SCAM - to not even attempt to use is as you will waste your money. All they do is prefill an application (something you can do yourself and get from the state or government agency) charge you $50 approx to prefill it andyou still have to pay the agency for the certificate. When I asked for a refund as I found my original birth certificate within an hour of applying, they refused saying they are not responsible for mistakes.
The mistake I made was going to this site in the first place.
I ordered my records on April 23rd. 4 days later I visited the site and it said it shipped the information to the records department where I need my records from. It said to allow 8 to 12 business days to receive it. May 18th I still have not received it so I called. The robot voice said it will go to the department in the next business day. I tried to talk to someone but I was on hold for an hour and a half and gave up. The bad thing about this is that the place I need my records from had this link and said to use it. Now what do I do?
I moved to Texas now I ordered from here a birth certificate and nothing took my money though I need it fast all I got was a form to send it says you can get a certified printed out from phone/ online I'm a disabled vet no family noth I need it for a job contacted support 5 times and got responses that made absolutely no sense to get a license here and work you need a birth certificate or certified certificate I ordered 2 nothing sent to phone nothing pls help I'm going to be in a mess if I don't get it
Please save your money and use Vital Check instead. Vital Records is cheaper but they are not as efficient. I ordered a birth certificate through both Vital Check and Vital Records. Within in minutes of my purchase through Vital Check, I received confirmation that my birth certificate will be delivered in 2 days. Vital Records on the other hand is still processing my request and it has been over 5 business days.

I had a really disappointing experience with the service. I paid to expedite my son's birth certificate, but it never arrived. Every time I called, they claimed they had everything they needed and that the delay was at the state level. After a year, I went to the county and discovered that my paperwork was never resubmitted. The customer service representatives gave me conflicting information and ultimately just told me to contact the state myself. It was a frustrating and ultimately fruitless experience. I would advise others to save their money and go directly to the county.

This is only useful if you can wait 3-6 months for certificates. I did not realize that when you pay extra expedite a birth certificate it still takes 3 months or more to receive it. I also did not realize you can go in person to a local County Clerk Office and get it the same day for way less money. They would not offer a refund 2 days after paying and letting me know it would take 3 more months to receive. What a rip off.
They charge you $70 bucks to literally send you a filled out form to pay $34 more dollars to pay the state fees for a birth certificate. They did not say anything about there being another fee online. Do yourself and use Vitalchek

Not only did I get tricked into paying a bull shi* 45$ fee for them to fill out an application that I could do by myself in 2 minutes, they did it in a way that tricks you into thinking this is the only way to fill out the application. Additionally, after going through the whole process (which is bull shi*), they could not even keep track of my application status and update me on it. All together, to get a copy of my birth certificate will take almost 2.5 months, and 75$.
Looks like a legit website but simply fill in the form that is easy to find and fill in yourself. The website that does what is actually needed, online transmission, is VitalChek. I wasted money and am not happy with Vital Records
I ordered sent this company my information to receive my marriage certificate because it was very important. They lied about getting your certificate fast without explaining rude agents and supervisor who telling me no refunds and didnt explain situation you have to wait 4 months i paid for rushing my items no communication when you talk to them they dont care no status when they will ever process your application and when i searched vital records called them they didnt even receive it its been a month so dont waste your time and money on false companies like this with false reviews this is true review from someone real
Worst place ever. I order my birth certificate feb. 25 and it may 14 and I have yet to here from them. No email Or anything. I try calling Customer service and they are impossible to reach. I will call customer service and I will be on hold for literally an hour until I just had to hang up because no one will come to the phone.
Filled out all the required info and paid $55 just to get a download link for a form to fill out and mail in with an additional $25.
Went to vitalchek.com and took care of everything on there sight for $62 and got it within 3 days.
It's Tuesday morning now and I placed an order last Wednesday. I pay the very expensive amount for it to be expedited with overnight service. It didn't happen. Today 4 business days later, I received a message saying the package had been shipped and I should expect it next Friday - hardly overnight! Considering the amount I paid, this is totally unexceptable. I will be going out of my way to post this information other places on the web.

Paid $69 and got an application for a birth record and an expectation to pay another $15. I could have downloaded the form they sent me for $69 online. Total scam. Read the fine print.
