What sort of company gives you a £600 credit limit and takes it away after ordering something then I received the following email:
We're sorry but we cannot accept further orders on this account.
After further checks, we've come across additional information and made the decision to remove the credit facility on this account with a view of closing it when any balance is settled in line with our risk policy.
Do not use this company they are professional scammers not professional suppliers!
I ordered a laptop got sent a pair of ear buds! Returned ear buds as wrong item delivered and still waiting for my refund!

Black Friday deals are pointless as u won't get ur order and be told to reorder which if like me u can't do until the refund is processed then u won't get ur money back in time to order on the Black Friday deals!
Sent damaged products with missing items. The delivery was late when I paid for a named day and when it arrived the box was damaged which I put down to the delivery company. Opened the box and two parts are broken and not everything was included.
The refund policy needs looking at as they don't refund until 7-14days whereas you can get refunds in most places within 3-5 business working days.
Wouldn't do a straight replacement as I just wanted the product which would've meant they kept the money but now I just won't use them again.
Managers apparently weren't in to escalate, which is strange as most departments there's always a manager working daily, or a supervisor.
Not the first time either, my tv I bought in December 2023 freezes and the apps sometimes don't.
Bought a pair of waterproof Nikes about a year ago for around £120, Sports direct had the same model for £80 but not in my size. After a year of paying around £6 a month my premium rocketed to £18. No details available on their site so I had to spend an hour on hold - finally told interest rate is 57.90%! I closed my account on the spot & I'd advise others to do the same.
Dont buy from this company. Product ordered and piad for on nov 16. No contact from them. 10 days later i called them and asked for a refund. 14 days later, still no refund. Useless customer service. Do they scam other people?
I usually don't have any issues with Very but I bought a bag from them for £85 and when the bag arrived it had a tag on it showing the actual price as £25.72. When I called and asked them to price match to the tagged price they refused and even tried to convince me that the price on the website could have changed to £25.72 after I bought it … it hadn't! They then tried to offer me a £5 voucher as a gesture of goodwill for their dishonesty. This has honestly put me off using them in the future.
Appalling customer service despite 3 phone calls and going in circles online, still waiting for manager to call me back re refund for return despite having confirmation that Very have received my return.
I made the mistake of purchasing from Very, and it's been a nightmare. They lure you in with promises of free interest, but then slap you with a whopping 50% interest rate! They conveniently "forget" to mention these extra charges, causing customers to miss deadlines and rack up massive debts. When I reached out for clarification on how much my debt would increase monthly, they couldn't provide a straight answer. How am I supposed to manage my finances if they can't even do that? And to top it off, I filed a complaint about a huge charge they made to my account, and they have the audacity to say it'll take them up to 8 weeks to respond! Meanwhile, they'll happily keep increasing my debt. This company is a total scam. Don't trust anything they say; it's all a ploy to squeeze more money out of unsuspecting customers. If they don't rectify these charges, I'll have no choice but to report them to the authorities. Avoid Very at all costs!
I pressed cancel on my order seconds after I placed it and they still send it and charged me for delivery. I had to return it but of course still waiting for my refund and I will not be getting one for the delivery. Don't shop there!
Update: I sent my own photos to Very and they came back a week later and said it was obviously a delivery problem. Within a few days they had collected the old sofa and brought a new one the next day and then got my delivery charge back on the original broken sofa and wasn't charged for that. I did mention I had spoken to the Furniture Ombudsman and if this wasn't dealt with within 7 days it would be contacting their investigation team.
When I discovered damage to my sofa I contacted Very who sent out an engineer who totally lied about me. You can see the damage in the photos below & the mark it left on the floor when I moved the sofa on the floor.

Received my parcel to find everything but the actual items to be correct.
I called to ask for them to send out what I ordered (needed!) To be told they wouldn't send my order until I had returned these items and they'd processed and refunded me.
Their mistake, they should correct it while I send this back.
I paid £170 for a 2TB Samsung ssd after a few weeks I would get random disconnects and now 6 months later the drive is failing with read and write speeds only 355 Bytes/s when it should be 300Mbp/s I'm struggling to get all of my files off of it, it's been sat there for 6 hours and it's stuck at 59% and says there is 1 day remaining. I do not believe this is a genuine Samsung ssd because it's such terrible quality, I tried to contact Samsung for a warranty repair, they said contact the retailer Very, very won't help. So I've got a £170 paperweight and I've lost my precious data.the very website is very misleading, and they only give you a small time frame for returns and by the time the item fails you are tough out of luck. I can never get those files back and I've had to pay over £100 for a new one from elsewhere which doesn't fix the data loss issue. Never shopping from very again as I don't believe the sell quality products, they probably are factory seconds.
Received somebody else's order. Was unable to speak to anybody as it was a Sunday. When i finally got through on the monday i could hardly hear the person i was speaking to, they put me on hold then eventually just hung up. The second person i spoke to advised me i was liable for their wrong delivery and i would have to return. I was advised that approximately 10 days after i have returned i would get a refund for my order. I do not want a refund! I just want the goods that I've ordered and paid for!
Honestly just the worse I've ever dealt with, if you manage to get through to someone, congrats! But know they won't reply any further after that. I find the best way to get their attention is to leave bad reviews or file a complaint, otherwise they simply don't care. Of what they sell, many other companies also sell, and they don't do it any cheaper than anywhere else so honestly shop elsewhere. You'll get much more communication and respect. Avoid this terrible company.
I made a purchase of two cups, they sent me a pack of coasters. I don't want to phone them, as prefer contact via chat etc. but their set up is terrible, you can't talk to anyone and get to the root of your problem. Lost the cups now waste of money and time unreliable poor service.
Purchased an Emma mattress from very which was faulty customer service from very poor show had to call Emma mattress direct they sent us back to Urey many phone calls later they sent us out anew mattress which we had to pay for again then they arranged to pick up the old one three times lost time of work still have the old mattress in the house all over Christmas in front room poor show from very think about you purchase before ordering from this company
I purchased a wardrobe and drawers set two months ago and the delivery driver pointed out damage to the wardrobe but refused to take it back saying as he had destroyed packaging and could not put it back on van …. Two months later I cannot get very to replace the item …I have sent pics and done everything they asked me to and now they ignore my emails
I phoned Very 3 times and spoke to different advisors I was told my next day delivery payment would be refunded, it was not, i was also told I would get a refund of the order it took 2 weeks to refund this. I am so disappointed with very and the delivery couriers they use Yodel has failed with more than 20 deliveries most being from Very I did expect better customer service with Very, I now do not shop with Very!
Heads up on advertised interest rate of 39.7%, this is a lie, mine has been 54.9% for 2 years, never had a late payment and always paid more than the minimum payment, so try someone else if you can.
I am a model user of Very, never late with a payment, always pay more than the minimum payment, but for no reason at all at an awkward time for most, they have kindly put my interest rate up from 39.9% to 51.9%, no warning, they just did it.
When I wrote this report before they contacted me for my details, but never made contact, when I called their underwriters to ask why the sudden increase, they simply said 'because we can' I said fair enough, so now I pay it out and never use them again.
I think it often depends on your own experience as to whether you got a good service or not. I see a couple of unhappy people on here but I order came without any hassle at all. Ordered a few clothes for my little girl and all 3 items arrived and fitted nicely. She will look great at the birthday party now!
