It took nearly 2 years to get the last pice of a 5 piece bedroom set. The mirror frame was delivered cracked, the delivery people put the bed together wrong, husband fixed that, they were argumentative and disgusting. The new mirror arrived today after another shipping disaster, broken tree limbs etc. The top piece of the new mirror is not attached. Kelly in customer service was very responsive and helpful but all they could say is sorry. The overall quality of wood and finishes are poor. Very disappointed and do not recommend. Price was too high for the quality.

I have had a terrible experience with VWS. The staff are very friendly, but don't know the details of the items they sell. Timeframe since ordering to being delivered was horrendous. We were told it would take 12-14 weeks from time of order to receiving our order. We did not receive it until 17 weeks later! Upon delivery, three items were damaged and when we called VWS, they wanted to send out a furniture medic. So I guess my new furniture that we just spent all our savings on, was going to be refurbished furniture. When we called VWS back, and said a furniture medic was unacceptable, it was going to take another "12-14" weeks for our new furniture. I would have to call VWS and get tracking info and inquire when things were shipped. Don't waste your time on this company. There are other companies better!

Lovely store! I bought a rocking chair and a lifting table for a computer there so that I could work while standing. Very comfortable and stylish interior items. In my interior, they don't look quite logical, but the main thing is that I feel mega comfortable.)))

After months of looking i was convinced the big furniture stores were not for me, when it came to buying a bed.

I found vermontwoodstudios on the internet by casually browsing, and fell in love with their website. After months of thinking i finally drove upto the show room to get some advice on a bed and to see what i costs.

I would recommend visiting the place, it has a spectacular backdrop and the folks there are extremely kind and really interesting to talk to. I was pretty concise with what i needed and i was guided through the process and was given some recommendations and i finally made my choice.

The waiting period is two months, and must admit when i got my Modern American Platform bed, i am convinced good craftsmanship takes time, and this certainly is fabulous.

I strongly recommend people, pay a little extra money, get something good, these things are investments and they last a life time.

I need bar stools for my kitchen and I found them online first. I liked a few stools and wanted to order, but then decided to visit them myself. And I'm very happy I did, because I bought completely different stools in their showroom after seeing and touching the materials.

I had a great experience shopping with Vermont Woods Studios. Delivery was timely and I enjoyed the shippers, they were very helpful and were careful around the precious things in my home. I was worried about waiting weeks for my furniture, but I now see that it was well worth the wait. Everything is beautiful and I couldn't have chosen a better company to shop with. I ordered office furniture for my new home and will continue to furnish my home with Vermont Woods Studios. The customer service reps were so friendly and helped me order exactly the custom pieces I was looking for. I feel lucky to get to look at this furniture everyday. I ordered a natural cherry Shaker Sideboard for my home office to match a desk and tall cherry bookshelves. When I ordered it I placed a time constraint on production and delivery that was shorter than what Vermont Wood Studios advertises. From the beginning the communication and helpfulness of their staff could not have been better. The Sideboard arrived ahead of schedule and represents the exceptional craftsmanship and professionalism of the staff at Vermont Woods Studios. The piece is exceptional and the White Glove Delivery Service to our Florida home could not have been any better. This was a great experience from start to finish!

We were looking for handmade dining room chairs, and we wanted to support local craftspeople. After searching online, Vermont Wood Studios kept popping up as a local and accessible source for handmade wood furniture. A glorious Saturday morning drive brought us to the studios where we chatted and sat and chatted and sat, and moved chairs around, and sat some more. We left with our thoughts and opinion, stopping at other mainstream furniture stores. Two days later, I bought the chairs, and within 3 weeks the chairs arrived, delivered promptly and efficiently on a Saturday afternoon, 5 minutes into the 3-hour window offered by the shipping company.
We are delighted with our purchase (we're spending longer at the table during meals because the chairs are so comfortable!) and our experience with VWS.

I needed a tall bar table to fill a corner in my room.
I ordered from Amazon Zuo Christabel Bar Table in Aluminum" 138 USD.
It looked pretty in the picture. When I opened the package
It looked less appetizing. Looked like someone was
Was trying to save on raw materials (metal). The aluminum parts
Were paper thin. I managed to assemble it
But 2 days later decided to chuck it out.
I did some more googling and hit upon
Vermont Studios - Contempo Bar Table.
300 USD. A bit more expensive than the first one
But I have learnt not to trust those cheap chinese products.

I purchased a set of bedroom furniture manufactured by Copeland through Vermont Woods Studios. Because of the total purchase amount, free white glove shipping was included.

Crafting and shipping took 3 months, a reasonable time frame. There were numerous problems with the order as delivered. The mirror arrived with broken glass. The headboard and footboard of the bed were cracked. Several joining dowels in the bed were too long, preventing assembly. Several different pieces of incorrect hardware and parts were included for the bed. It took three separate requests (with a one-week wait each time) for Copeland to ship us the correct hardware for the bed. Copeland made a new headboard and footboard (at least the lifetime warranty has worked so far). Two months after the first delivery, we are still waiting for all of the correct pieces for the bed; and no one will tell me when, or if, we will ever get the mirror.

Copeland's literature talks about "the experience" that luxury furniture buyers want. Trust me, I did not get it.

My wife and I had decided some months ago to move from a queen bed to a King - and we wanted something that would go with our over 40 year old Danish Falster teak bedroom furniture (we had a bed for years that really did not match and was not Falster anyway - which we believe is out of production anyway). We own other Copeland Furniture so we were sold on the quality. The Astrid King platform bed in natural cherry seemed like a great complement to our older Danish teak furniture so ww decided this was the best choice.

We shopped around for a bit and with no dealers anymore in Houston - we turned to the internet where we found several re-sellers for Copeland products. Vermont Woods seemed reasonably priced and they included shipping (which we really like) and white glove delivery and setup.

For whatever reason - we expected it might take 2-3 months or thereabouts to get our bed - which was OK for us. But we actually got it in about 6 weeks. Vermont Woods stayed in touch with us throughout the process and kept us informed. The shipment was totally stressless and the delivery and setup was equally easy.

The bed looks fabulous and we could not be more pleased. Sean was great to work with. We'll be moving this bed to our second home outside of Louisville KY in the fall when our modern house there is done with remodeling.

We recommend Vermont Woods without reservation and the next time we decide to buy a Copeland piece - we will call them first!

Two major moves have made changes in our need for furniture. When we lived in a house, we had a beautiful solid wood cherry dining room table with two leaves. We downsized to an apartment, and sent that table to our son. Recently we moved from a small apartment to a larger townhouse. I was thrilled, because I like to invite friends over for dinner, and we had room for a table, not just a bar. A lot of modern furniture (Crate and Barrel, West Elm) is veneer. My husband said, "why not get a solid wood table." So we found Vermont Woods Studios on line. We ordered the table in December, and were thrilled when it was ready to be shipped by February. At over $4000, this item was not cheap. It was not as expensive as a similar Vermont furniture maker--Thos Moser. That table might have cost $8000. However what eventually arrived looks good standing up--it is soilid wood, and if you do not look underneath, you will not see the unfinished wood, the rough steel support, or the poorly placed L bolts. You will not have to drill new holes to get the legs to fit. Customer Service was not helpful, and claimed that the poorly placed L bolts were part of the design. On the good side, our table is made of a lovely piece of wood. It will look very nice with pretty placemats or under a nice table cloth. It is the right size for our apartment. It is solid wood. But the workmen have not done justice to the wood. And in this economy I do not know if we paid a fair price. Compared to the beautiful table we gave our son, purchased in the 1980's, this is shoddy workmanship. But perhaps today, this is the best money can buy. Be very careful, fellow consumers.
