Yes, the quality is poor for the clothing, but that's what you get when you pay practically nothing. Really nobody should be complaining.
I rarely order from Venus because in the past things haven't fit. I ordered a dress, 118.00 that said to order down a size. I'm usually a med. So I ordered a small. I ordered the beginning of March. The dress took so long i forgot I ordered it. It arrived at the end of March. The small would have fit and extra large. So big that exchanging it for an extra small wouldn't have worked. To return it however, I would have to pay for my own shipping return in full since it wasn't an exchange. The return was UPS and cost 17.98. A month later they still hadn't credited me. I tried calling on the phone twice but the first time the wait was so long I had to leave. The second time the wait was 29minutes. Then the UPS called me and Venus had returned my package back to me and I had to cover the return charge for the UPS Store which was 13$. Then to send it back to them again was another 17.98. So for a dress they described woefully inaccurately, I have now paid, 118 plus 18, plus 18, plus thirteen. Still no refund. I will never ever ever shop with them again. Horrible when it would be so easy to do so much better.
The closedcare bad quality do not look as they appeared in pictures.
When I returned item. I paid 29. They kept 11 10 dollars for shipping.

I ordered 2 dresses and a pair of jeans
I will shop there again and will recommend their site to others.

I ORDERED 2 BODYSUITES, ORDERED THEM ACORDING THEIR CHART SIZE AND MEASUREMENTS. I HAVE A 38DD CUP SIZE, AND ORDERED A LARGE SIZE. WHEN ITEMS ARIVED I WAS SUPER DISAPOINTED THAT IT DIDN'T FIT ME, SO I DECIDED TO RETURN THEM IMMEDIATELY FOR A STORE CREDIT. I READ ON INVOICE THAT IF YOU CHECK MARK FOR THE STORE CREDIT IT IS FREE. GUESS WHAT, AFTER 2 WEEKS I CONTACTED THEM TO SEE WHAT IS GOING ON WITH MY CREDIT, THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY REFUNDED ME. THE AMOUNT WAS LESS THAN WHAT I PAID FOR THE ITEMS. INSTEAD OF $74.31, I GOT BACK ONLY 65$. THEY SAID THE SHIPPING IS FREE, BUT THE RETURN NO. THIS IS FRUSTRATING, WHY TO WRITE ON INVOICE THAT THE RETURN IS FREE, WHEN ACTUALLY IS NOT FREE.
I OPENED A CLAIM WITH MY BANK, SEE HOW IT GOES.
WORST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE, WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. JUST WANT MY MONEY BACK!

I placed an order for over $500 on May 10th. Payment was taken from my credit card from the site. I then received a voicemail stating that I needed to verify my billing details. ( I did so the following day May 11th). The 'representative' I spoke with told me -AFTER- I verified everything that the products would be shipped out the next business day (Monday 12th). It's now May 18th at 7pm. I went online to check my order... still nothing I have now been on hold for over 25 mins... finally someone took my call and she's had be on hold back and forth for another 20 mins. She later came back to tell me that there is no record of me calling and verifying my information. So just like that... everything I ordered and have been waiting for as I wanted these items for my bachelorette which is in less than 2 weeks. This goes far beyond HORRIBLE customer service... this is such a huge disappointment to me as I had already planned my outfits around what I had ordered. Had I known I'd be treated this way, I would never have ordered from them and done so elsewhere where I'm sure I'd have received better care and service and the most important- the products I ordered. I now have to go and try to find alternatives for my Bachelorette party.
I will absolutely tell everyone I know that even remotely trusts in this company NEVER to order from you and I will ensure I do so on all my social media accounts.
Please don't buy. It's $#*!. Total $#*!. Buy anything else instead. I feel like burning the product and burying the ashes so that no one can find.

Just want to write a good review. Love my purchase and fits perfect. Go by the measurement charts because my outfit fit perfectly and I love it!
HORRIBLE item HORRIBLE customer service. Bought it in my size (although their sizing is extremely inconsistent so it's always hit or miss) paid $8 for shipping, it was HUGE, $7 to send back, ordered down to the next smaller size and paid another $8 shipping so now I'm out $67 and need to send back the second one for ANOTHER $7 because the next size down fit great EXCEPT the bust is too small - HUGE fit difference between the two and fit of bust is just wrong and looks weird AND within 15 minutes of wearing the item it was lightly touched and the first rhinestone just FELL OFF! I was not able to wear the first one for an important occasion and was totally disappointed in the second one and total shipping has been $30 so far.
What an utter waste of time and money for something that has crazy sizing and falls apart the first few minutes of wearing!
Customer service actually sent me an email! THEY contacted ME! They asked that I reach out to them to discuss my experience - which I DID - NO further response, just completely ignored me. Why initiate contact with a customer and then ignore them when they respond?
Try Forplay or if you wear a size 12 or larger Hips and Curves has AMAZING quality, just steer clear of Venus as they do not care about quality OR repeat customers. I have ordered great things from them in the past but I will never order again after this mess.

I received a call from my bank on May 9,2016 at 930 pm informing me there was an unauthorized charge to my account for 2.00. The bank informed me this is the way hackers begin to hack into your account, they start with a small amount and if they are successful they then start accessing more money of your account. The bank strongly suggested I close out my account and they will re open another one to prevent this from happening which I did. The bank informed me since it was so late in the evening to call the next morning for more details. When I contacted them the following morning, I was informed a Venus was the one who had debited my account? I had no idea why since I had sent back an article of clothing that was to be credited. I contacted Venus and they informed me the item I had returned which was for an even exchange, just a different size was now two dollars more. They are suppose to be refunding me the two dollars, I have only seen the debited amount of the two dollars. I am furious that because of them automatically debiting my account I was contacted by my bank security office, had to close out an account, which is a pay roll account and am now being issued a new debit card. What gives your company the right to go into my account and authorize a charge that I was not made aware of. This morning after all of that I had returned another dress and was informed I will not get the full amount back because they will be taking off shipping charges. Lets see I paid the shipping charges twice what a good deal. I will not be doing further business with your company and will be reporting this to the better business bureau. I will also be returning the remaining items that I received from you. This is absolutely poor business practice.

Okay So I just received my order from VENUS AND what I received looks NOTHING like the photo on their site. It looks like a cheap remake of what the model is wearing... these clothes are made in the USA and it looks like China made them, such poor material is used, very thin, wrinkly, cheap and they have the audacity to charge 39$ for a top! It IS NOT WORTH IT. And there live chat people SUCK, they keep telling me they don't do copies or remakes of clothes but if you saw what I received and compared it to the website it is not the same shirt! And I am a small and I am sure it isn't a size issue because the models are most likely also wearing a small, so disappointed, don't waste your time, I'm returning basically everything... huge waste of time... they try to be like VS... but their quality and customer service SUCKS. Also their live chat people gave me an email to email that is NEVER checked, really really really big waste of time with this company, save YOURSELF the HASSLE! TRUST ME I WISH I DID!
Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens.
