Everything about my experiences was horrible! I even gave them 3 chances. Wrong items, clothes falling apart after wearing it once, items never showing up and customer service that is non existent! Please do not put yourself in a horrible position.
I've ordered from them a couple of times and have received gifts from them as well. Each item has something wrong with it. It ranges from slight to totally different product. They do carry unique items, however, they sacrifice quality big time. The people who love these clothes must not mind that. I just received an item that is incredibly poorly made, terrible material, and doesn't match the description/ picture at all. As with most "made in China" clothing the sizes are also off (way smaller). It's really a shame. I'm not looking forward to the return experience. Go buy clothing from someone who sells quality to match the price. Venus certainly doesn't. It would be great if they read these reviews and reform their quality control methods.
Rude agents on the phone. Claim they never received my return - giving me excuse that due to what is going on, mail takes longer. No it does not - I am shopping online constantly and have had zero problems with any other company for purchases or returns. Don't waste your time ordering anything with this company.
"Right now I am having a poor experience with venus. I ordered some items and considering the cost, I was surprised that it took almost 2 weeks for my items to arrive. 3 out of 4 items did not look like the catalog and sizes were off. So I decided to exchange 2 and my exchanges still haven't been processed, plus being charged and exchange/return shipping fee is ridiculous. Customer service say it can take up to 10 business days! Then venus pls don't advertise that returns/exchanges are fast and easy! Basically, I ordered items 7/3 and will probably not get to use them till August, over a month later, because of how slow and inefficient this company is. Pls avoid them... will never Venus from here again."
I order 3 dress for my wife and over a two month ago. They can not find them I have not heard back from the company. I having trouble getting my money back on my credit card. Renee Barns is no help. They said there going to start a trace but when I called 4 days later it never happened.
I would strongly recommend never use this Venus, there are many other sites that are much more reliable. Stay away these guy are crooks
Expedited shipping ($28) is a joke. Especially to Canada I've been waiting a week already and canada post expects another 5 days. As well, an extra $50 for duties and tax, these clothes are not made in the US if that is what your thinking. After reading all the reviews I'm concerned about what I'm going to get when it finally arrives. Won't order again. I get things from China faster and cheaper.
Prices are not in alignment with today's market. In addition, their credit card payment cutoff on the due date is 5:00 p.m. EST. That is way too early for those of us who work full-time. They only grant one waiver every 18 months and are unforgiving. This is absolutely unacceptable. I have been a customer for 20+ years and will not be shopping here much longer if this continues. Venus, you need to put the customer first. You used to do so and THAT is how you grew as a company. Get over yourself.

I have been shopping with Venus for years! If you follow the sizing directions the swimwear is a perfect fit. When I lived up north my Venus swimwear lasted for YEARS! Now that I live in FL and swim all year I need to replace them every 2-3 years! The fit is perfect! I rinse them out in cold water after use but no other special care. Many times I get new ones just because I am tired of the old ones, not because they are worn out! I wait for the end of season (no such thing in FL!) and buy 4-5 each year. Great company and great products. Have had a problem only once and I received a replacement promptly. Have been shopping with them for 20 years!

I have ordered several items from Venus but truly was disappointed when I had it returned and item that was crap. They actually charged me a restocking charge. This is the last time I will order from Venus. I don't believe that I should have to pay for restocking charge and also for the freight of $4.95. I hate pettiness and I'm truly through with Venus. I am cutting up their credit card

I have to admit there have been complications with Venus in the past - in fact I stopped ordering from them because of it. Recently, I began buying from them (this summer), but am waiting for 4 orders - One is already lost in the mail! I talked with a supervisor this morning who told me she would call once she can track the item with Landmark... it's now the end of the day, doesn't look like it will be resolved soon. I will keep this site posted to let everyone know how they make good or if they lose what could be a terrific customer. (I love clothes and my husband likes what I have bought from Venus)... it's up to them at this point!

I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!

I've ordered from Venus more times than I can count. I've never had issues with returns when I have received something that didn't quite fit right. The online chat reps are very helpful if you have questions. LOVE the items I get from Venus. Much more trustworthy than those awful foreign companies that advertise on Facebook. I purchased a tunic sweater from Venus on December 23,2014 and only paid for standard shipping so I knew that I would not get my item until after the 1st of the year which was okay but their shipping is the only reason why they are not getting a 5 star from me. After placing my order, I started reading reviews on them and with all the negative reviews are started second guessing my order, however, once I got my sweater, I must say that I am very satisfied with the item. It is not of poor quality as other reviewers stated and the fit is very good, other reviewers said the sizes ran small or large. Again no complaints on the clothing just wish they had a faster shipping that was a little cheaper.
I have ordered a few times now. I am sitting here and reading all those reviews and wondering are we talking about the same website. Everything that I have ordered came in correct size (if you use size chart), I am M size, sometimes S, depends on style. Plus material shown in pictures is absolutely the same that was shipped to me. And I am ordering more. So sad that there is a lot of people complaining. I am happy and I have no bad experience with Venus.

I must say that I am normally very happy with my purchases from Venus and would give a 5 stars for all of my other purchases and the items I had to return. However, this time I purchased the crochet tunic in March 2016 and wore it in July and then again in August. I hand washed it in August in the washing machine and it falls apart at the bottom. I have washed similar items using the same method and have not had any issues prior to this one. When calling Venus to complain they were very customer nice but could not return my item because of their 60 and 90 days return and exchange policy. This policy needs to be changed for poor quality items or they need to fix these items. I filed a complaint with Quality Control and I will see what happens next.
I don't trust a lot of online websites, but I have to say that Venus is one of my favorites. They have clothes for all dress styles at fair prices, especially if you take advantage of the constant deals, I have two orders on the way. Most of the items I have ordered have been great, and the few returns I've had have been processed with no problem. I love Venus and I am a loyal, satisfied customer.

I've been picking out Venus styles that I'd like to see my wife wear for years now. She's always been impressed with the value; quality, and fit. And, when my wife looks good she feels more confident and, for me it's a win-win! Thank you Venus.
I only buy their swimsuits because the prices are reasonable. But as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for." The quality is just ok. I'd rather spend the same $ on a name brand that's on sale. Anyways, my swimsuit from last year didn't hold up so I decided to buy a different one this summer. I bought three swimsuits knowing that I'd have to return 1 or 2 of them. I used their $6.95 return label. However when I got my confirmation email, I was also charged $7.95 for shipping. When I called to complain, I was told that, after returning those two items, my purchase was now below $99. Hence the additional shipping fee. I shop various sites online and have never heard such a thing. Lastly, it takes 5-7 business days for standard shipping which is way too long versus other sites. I'm very disappointed with their business practices and taking my money elsewhere.

Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens.
