Stay away from this ''ghost company'' Vayama. Today april 30th i bought a plane ticket from Bucharest to sacramento california, the plane ticket was for the date of may 22nd. As soon as they (vayama) charged my card and took the money they did not send me any e-ticket confirmation number... nothing at all but a made up VUS nr... whatever that is. It's a scam company, probably from India(i called them at least 7-8 times trying to solve the issue), i got different answers every time... different info from different scammers working for this BS company. PLEASE GOOD PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM THEM! They say the air carrier cancelled the flight, then they come up with more lies saying they will refund the money back within 3-5 days. It is all a scam. My mistake was i did not check the forum reviews about VAYAMA. IT IS THE WORST THIRD PARTY COMPANY ONLINE. STAY AWAY FROM VAYAMA
I CAN NOT GIVE THEM NOT EVEN ONE STAR BUT IF I DON'T THE WEBSITE WON'T LET ME POST THIS.
This agency just engages in total non-responsiveness and sends out hte same email over and over if one is attempting to make a change and then tells you when you call that it is too late and the cost will be five times as high even though a quick search of the airline website shows plenty of seats at a lower price than they offer. TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS.
I swear. Dont book with them. No customer protection, very very rude unprofessional. They changed my flight without telling me. I conference them with the airline, the airline agent couldnt believe how rude and idiots they are.
Please please book with someone else. It s all good until a problem arises, then the We dont care attitude appears from them. I swear this is a very honest advise
Thank you
I bought my ticket at Vayama through kayak and 10 days later they sent me an email saying that they canceled my flight because the airline canceled it. They told me that l would have my money refunded in 45 days, it has been 48 days since I bought my ticket and still I don't have my money.
This is one example that cheap is usually more expensive because they screwed up my trip.
They offered me Deal and I was waiting for the E-Ticket two days later they tell me it was cancelled just like there body's at justairticket.com 100% pure SCAMMERS Bait and Switch.
Never again vayama I used them before but not anymore RipOff.
Probably the worst 3rd party provider policies out there and rude customer service. Why do you want to do that to yourself? Why?
I used them once unfortunately. Never again.
I booked a refundable ticket in November, 2017 with Vayama and cancelled it a week after. I was charged multiple fees for cancellation, which I paid over the phone to the Customer Support team and received receipts for the same. It is now April 2018 and I have still not received the refund. Vayama insists that the refund had been issued but refuses to give me a receipt or an authorization code. Moreover, they've stopped responding to my mails and customer care puts me on hold and then hangs up when I tell them the problem.
Clearly they've made some type of administrative error and are now refusing to refund the money. Stay away from these crooks!
Cheap flight tickets are a big scam! They change the flight timings after booking very often and wouldn't even cancel the ticket when requested. Feels like a very dishonest company.
I'm the type of person that is always prepared with band-aids, a swiss army knife and a flashlight, so it was my own wherewithal that saved me when I decided to call the morning of the day before my 12 AM flight. Guess what? That flight got changed to a 10:40 AM flight for the same day, which in itself wasn't the problem.
The problem was I GOT NO NOTIFICATION in the form of an email or courtesy call, not from Vayama or the airline. Good thing I decided to check, or else I would've been stranded at the airport for 8 hours for no reason. Folks, if you're gonna be cheap and use this site, make sure you keep yourself in the loop, because they certainly won't.
Also, the phone number they have on the footer of their website is wrong. It goes to a dead line. Their real number is listed on the emails you get from them (but who goes to their EMAILS to look for a phone number when you have the internet? Get with the times, Vayama!) After I called the correct number, I had to wait 8 mins with an exceedingly annoying automated wait tone that told me every 2 seconds "please stay on the line and we will be with you shortly." I was disconnected after I connected with an agent not 2 mins into the call and had to call AGAIN.
The patience of sloths is required when dealing with vayama, trust.
Horrible Experience. They hold your ticket hostage and charge crazy high fees for any type of change.
Very bad customer service. They don't know how to behave with the customers. When tried calling them to get some help on changing the itenary and they went offline and din't get back to me. I was in an impression that they are working on my itenary. After 45 minutes, I disconnected and tried calling again. Same thing repeated with another agent. Again waited for 2 hours and no response. Called third time and finally able to respond and I want to complain about the previous situation to supervisor, they said no superviser in the weekend. All non sense. Don't trust this website and my humble request, please don't buy tickets from them.
I booked a ticket for SLC-FRA ($300 cheaper than usual), and although Vayama accepted my card and took a dollar from my account, they never took the full amount from my bank. After waiting a few days, I called them and they said that the tickets were not accepted by the airline. They did not alert me to this before I called them. They were completely unable to help me get the tickets I purchased, and I will probably have to pay $300 more wherever I buy them, but it certainly won't be with Vayama.
I spent HOURS booking overseas flights through KAYAK (and maybe this review is about KAYAK, too), finally being told I had a flight confirmed, then receiving an email within hours of my flight confirmation telling me my flight had been cancelled. I called customer service, and the representative had absolutely no explanation why the flight was cancelled, and absolutely no recommendations for what my alternatives were. Vayama sucks big time, they're completely useless, they're absolutely horrible in every conceivable way, and I hate them and everyone who works for them, including their relatives and friends (not that they'd have any friends, because frankly, anyone who'd work for a company like Vayama is just awful and certainly wouldn't have any friends), and if I were allowed to swear profusely about them in this format, I would. Come to think of it, please let me know if swearing about them profusely in this format is acceptable, and I will. Profusely.
We used Vayama for our trip to Mexico. Total incompetence and negligence and, if that was not enough, very rude.
They messed up my husband's name. They used my first name twice!
We wrote asking Vayama to correct my husband's name and got a standard answer going nowhere. So we wrote back and got exactly the same answer so, this time, I was not as nice.
We got an answer - Vayama does not make manual reservations so does not make errors... Basically, it was our fault - but if we sent our passports, they would get the tickets corrected.
We sent copies of our passports but received an answer that customer service does not take care of these changes. We had to write to a travix.com and, again send copies of the passports.
Did it work? No. They said the changes could not be made because the tickets were on Aero Mexico and the flights were operated by Delta! No excuse, nothing - and they did add that the tickets were not refundable. Basically, they did not care!
I wrote again asking them who I should contact to get the issue solved. Their answer? It was all my fault I had given them the wrong name and had waited more than 24 hours to let them know of the issue!
The series of messages took over a week and we were within 5 days of our flight. So I called Delta, stayed on the phone for a very long time but Delta did get it straighten out. It may have helped that I am gold with them. They even apologize for Vayamas attitude!
I will never again use Vayama and highly recommend no one does. Such poor customer service!

I booked without considering. I needed to change. They tried to help but they quickly got snippy or simply disconnected when I ask for clarification because it's sometimes hard to hear them. They would not communicate via email so I could see what flight and times they were saying. Airlines would not help because I booked with Vayama. Totally screwed.
Upon putting all my information, including my credit card numbers, as i always do, i did take a last review before clicking SUBMIT, just to realize that the flight was not in the same day, so i did't SUBMIT at the and, for the same name same days did book a flight with another airline, i was charged by VAYAMA, i didn't book this trip, the information was used, called when i realized the charge on my credit card, and they hung up by saying, talk to your bank. Dishonest and unprofessional, i am done with Kayak and my Barclays card for doing nothing, very unprofessional and dishonest.
These people have ridiculous charges for making reservations; if you have to change or cancel reservations, they charge at least $100 US per change, plus "undocumented" charges--all on top of the airlines' change fees. Yes, they answer their telephone, but their agents are unpleasant to downright rude. I have found that either English-language websites of the airlines themselves or reputable travel agencies in the countries being visited are much easier, faster, and cheaper than Vayama. I don't understand why Kayak refers to them!
Extremely irresponsible customer service. NOT WORTH RISKING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH VAYAMA! First I receive notification from Vayama that itinerary has changed. Guess what... layover changed from 2hrs to 11 hrs. That is very inconvenient for me being Senior Citizen. I called customer service Oct/21/2017 and they said "Cancel Quote" is requested in the system to check with Airlines for refund Amount and I would receive quote in e-mail within 2 days. 2 days passed no mail... I followed up... this time customer service promised response in 5 hrs. Again No e-mail... Next day I followed up on phone... after holding for 20 mins customer service disconnected the call... I followed up on phone next day same story continues... IT"S BEEN 3 WEEKS but NO RESPONSE
They are quick to book your ticket. But one of a very few booking services that does not let you cancel in 24 hours. That policy was changed on the phone call from 24 hours to "Only same day cancellation allowed". Bottom line. Be careful when you cancel and when you change your flight to make sure the timing is correct or they will make you pay for it. Not all agents knows what they are talking about. So be alert and ask questions even if the lady gets all testy on you.
Never again. Just steer clear from them!
VAYAMA has the worst service!
Thinking about calling them -because the site is giving you an error- forget about it! They will only tell you the CARD you're using is not working. Then they will tell you to call your bank because it's not the website- it's you're card.
Tried 4 different cards- however still no luck- the site clearly tells you there a "technical error"
Called VAYAMA 3 times, however, did not get help- Spoke with a REP name CHINI who refused to give me her last name.
Then spoke with the floor supervisor ROSS. K who also wasn't able to help- gave me the same answer to call the bank. I called the bank and they said there is no issue with your card and they did not see a transaction from VAYAMA.
BOTTOM line - the worst customer service- call center is based out of INDIA- they have no knowledge of our VISA card and our banking system.
After the 4th a call and hours of back and forth- I decided to give up.
Answer: Go to webjet they are better
Answer: Don't do it -- not worth it. They won't actually book you on those flights your seeing, and will change your itinerary before your flight actually goes out. -- So much so I was booked on a flight that made me miss my connection, and they said I had no choice but to rebook that leg of my trip 2 days prior or after... so I asked for a refund and it's being "approved" -- $700 down the drain.
