It's unbearable!
Never use USPS for sending packages abroad!
And, If you decided to do, – note, it can be lost or in infenite "transition"... + It will take hours to reach a Customer Care agent!

I sent two packages abroad, one to Ukraine and another to Czech Republic. Neither one was delivered.
Package to Ukraine sent in November 7,2022 and it's complete lost
Package to our relatives leaving in Czech was sent in December 19, it supposed to be NY present and we were promised that delivery will take 5 to 10 business days... Today is Feb 24,2023, It's still in Transition...!

It takes hours to contact to the Customer Care Center... The answering robot is super stupid... It's unbearable and furious!

Lost candy for god sakes!

USPS is downright bad! I swear how do you lose bags of candy somewhere in New jersey! People these days in mail carrying companies don't know a f****** thing. So now i get a replacement today for a bag of SOUR NERDS something that should've never happened! They better not have my mail thrown around or packages in the god damn bushes! Either Very ridiculous and i can't expect anything worse from them and next time my package gets lost its over! Especially when there are small items in the package like literally keep f****** track of the package, not that hard!.

Sent payment via USPS Priority Mail for a car I bought from a gentleman on Facebook. I'm in Kansas and he's in Mississippi. Should take 2-3 days, right? Parcel gets misdirected and 4 days later the envelope is in Pennsylvania and now they say it will be delivered sometime next week, but who really knows where it will end up, or where it will get bounced to next. Label was computer generated, not hand printed. Now I have to call a man that I've never met and explain to him why he won't be receiving the check I promised him in 3-4 days. Nothing but insolence and incompetence from people at the 1-800 #. Every time they raise their prices the service gets worse. $8.95 for this and no refund. The only reason I gave them one star is because there wasn't an option for no star.

LOST PACKAGE
December 12, 2017

My package had the correct name and address on it. When checking the tracking number at USPS said it was delivered to my mailbox. Which I have a LOCKED mailbox. My package was not in it. Calling the local post office the next day waited an hour on hold then I was told the mail carrier on my route was not in. They were really rude and could care less about finding my package it was no big deal to them. I filled a lost package online and tried calling USPS main headquarters only to not be able to get through the menu plays over and over again and you can not push a selection. Useless. If your package is not insured then what ever happens to it is anybody's guess. With that kind of service the USPS should be free.

I sent a package to Ghana a month ago and at the USPS center, the man at the counter did not tell me the package cannot be sent through flight since it had a lithium-ion battery in it. He took my money, gave me a tracking number and put a sticker that said, Restricted Mail do not put on flight.
My big issue is, why was I not informed at the counter and save hours and months of searching for a package?
My friend who was expecting the laptop lost hours in productive work and USPS is to blame for all this. I was incredibly disappointed as the package was returned to me after more than a month.
I only got to learn of the policy not to fly lithium-ion batteries after I took the package back to inquire why it was not sent. The most terrible customer support ever. No information, no notification, no heads-up.
So disappointed.

Well,here's just one instance.Its a normal occurrence with usps.I order a package from TX,I live in Fl.Shows delivery date 4 days later,cool right?NO!6 days later it's sitting in fkng Ohio for 3 days with not person with any common sense to give an answer of why or when I'll receive it.USPS,you are disgrace to what the postal service once was and represented. You have no work ethnicity or standards anymore.I rate you right up there with Fedex.U BOTH suck!

The worst service!
October 7, 2020

I send document via express mail which cost $70 back in June. It hasn't arrived until sep 2 which was no use, I had to resend it with different comp.
I failed claim about it after numerous phone calls and nothing has been done,
They say you have insurance which doesn't do anything! You will not get your money back!
Also, keep calling for someone to give me answer and nobody is picking up!
Awful service! Not only that they took my money but caused me lot of stress!
Would Not recommend to anyone!

With the invasion of Amazon and the drivers they hire, USPS has to be responsible for less and less delivery of packages. Yet, their "service" couldn't be any slower! I ship a priority envelope from NJ on 12/18 for $11 to get to Florida by 12/22. Now the newest update is a 12/26 delivery. 8 freaking days from New Jersey to Florida?! No wonder this organization continues to lose ground to competitors. Amazon can deliver me an entire warehouse in 8 days. USPS is useless, yet their prices climb for decreased service. I'll pay extra to get things shipped with UPS in the future. Even priority should have some sort of guaranteed delivery window for the price you charge.

I have a list of 7 items lost, delayed, sent around the country when they were already in my city for days and one opened and emptied. No one will talk to you. Blocked by computer site or lip service. I feel for the employees with COVID all over but this is out of control.

Website is garbage

Took awhile to make a profile, after that the confusing "click to ship" just refuses to work and Locks up saying to refresh and try again later. I've logged on to the website and tried to pay for my label on an iPhone, iPad, and computer. Can't do it. Help lines are crap and more frustrating.

Shipped Priority mail package from Wetumpka Al. To Glasgow Ky. Mailed on November 19 with expected delivery of November 23. Was not scanned till November 27 way over in Memphis. Finally got delivered on December 1. United Parcel Service is more expensive but much more reliable.

No business mail for days

Why does Amazon continue to use USPS? They are continually late and used 3rd party services for packages that are late and left in very ackward locations.
As a business, we don't receive our general mail deliveries daily.

The postal workers are not scanning in the tracking labels that we PURCHASE! So customers keep calling about why their packages are still in Pre-Transit? How lazy can you be? Also, dont offer priority 2 day and then take 7 to 9 days to get the package to the destination, if you cant deliver, take the option off! If the package gets there damaged, late, or never there, no big deal, why... because the post office doesnt care! Save yourself and your businesses some hassle and frustrations and save yourself from negative review from your customers and switch to UPS and Fedex, worth a little extra cost in the end especially since you have to reship tons of stuff that someone steals or loses!

A joke of an organization
February 11, 2020

Consistently bills arive late. After sending at least 10 days in advance of due date.

Open mail consistently, most of the letters that look like a card. That might be holding a gift card, etc.

Long lines at the actual post office where over worked, stressed out, and understaffed employees work.

Where legitimate complaints about mail, packages go to die because there is absolutely no accountability or care in the world about most or all of that because of what I wrote in the last paragraph.

I would say It is a useless org but that is obviously not true. It desperately needs gov funding, more people working and better organization if it wants to stay in business.

Key broke

We have a neighborhood box/boxes. Anytime I order something from usps I know there's going to be issues. Never fails on failing. This time a key legit broke off in the lock. Package is there, can't access because the key broke off. I mean besides sending or dropping at the wrong address, what the $#*! else can you do to your customer? They have become the $#*!tiest delivery service, and they're government funded. That tells you something doesn't it?

NEVER TRUST USPS

The US postal service needs systematic reform. The USPS lacks transparency, integrity, and professionalism and ends up undermining its customer satisfaction at the basic level.

The Customer Service agents cannot help you. When you ask a question using its online chat service, the agents provide irrelevant answers.

The USPS had almost lost an international EMS package with a 10-day delay, and now it just lost my order that is worth $120. I just don't understand how apathetic they can be toward their job of shipping goods when they are paid for a gruesomely overpriced service.

It is an absolute pity that a 1-star rating is the worst I could give. I shouldn't have expected more.

My family does quite a bit of shopping online, 99.9% of the time our packages arrive on time, that is when it is delivered by DHL, UPS, FedEx and Amazon, on the other hand items sent to us via USPS have a dismal record.
Seems like they are always late, and in some cases, we would get an email from the vendor shipping the item claiming that it had been delivered that day, when in fact it had not been delivered on that day, it ended up getting here two or even 4 days later, but way after I communicated to the seller that we had not received the item. This is really stressful to the seller, and my family too as we both get worried that perhaps the package might have been stolen. Lots of unnecessary stress and worry simply because, some post office worker decided that he or she was going to look good and preserve the bonus program by showing deliveries to be on time when they are in fact not yet delivered.

Y'all must be hire complete idiots. Such incompetent dummies. My package says delivered to my mailbox but it wasn't in there which means your mail person put it in someone else's mailbox. This is a huge inconvenience to me. Wish I could give y'all 0 stars. Y'all should really be held accountable for these type of issues period.

Worst customer service. They have lost several of my packages. I got a letter that was ripped open and I asked nicely several times for them to deliver to my door step and was refused because I'm not disabled or elderly.
