"Lost" my first package and offered no tracking info. Looks like it will be the same case for my second package. You people have a lot of nerve- bald headed, bloated, clowns. Will never use this crap service ever again in my life. Even Afghanistan probably has a better mailing system. EFF you clowns.
I sent Baby shower congratulation card with $100 Amazon gift card inside as a gift. USPS Person stole card and delivered mail with ripped of open envelope.
I complained but after 5 months waiting they told me nothing they can do.
I never in my life will use usps again.
They have terrible customer service, incompetent workers who will do anything except their job, and will do nothing to try and actually help you when they're the ones who messed up.

Why pay more for priority mail when they don't get there sooner than parcel post? Package from Arizona to Texas took 9 fricking days! Business sized envelope sat at San Antonio for a day, sat in Austin for 3 days!
I've lived in Piru for 2 years now, and one of the pleasures of the community is Monique and Eric at the local Post Office. They are a joy to know. I don't feel like a customer with them, I feel like I'm part of the family. The two of them make such a great team, no one is perfect but I must say, I've been here for 2 years and they have been error less. 100% great customer service. My 6 year son Benjamin loves him some Monique.
What a model site? They know what they are doing and they provide outstanding customer service to our community, and by the way, they are some of most honest people I've ever met.

Expecting a delivery and have been tracking it. I live in Ocala. Package arrived at the Ocala facility 11/26. So, was responsibly expecting it to be "out for delivery " Monday, 11/28. Checked tracking Monday morning only to find that it had been sent out of town to Gainesville. I'm in Ocala. The package was delivered to Ocala...why waste all that money on expensive gas to re-route it again. Gas is expensive! No wonder there are concerns about continuing the USPS and raising postage! Ridiculous!
I have no idea how the United States Postal Service is still in business. They are HORRIBLE. My office pays thousands of dollars a year to send registered mail to other businesses. Upon trying to track the delivery of our letters, the USPS tracking system shows things like: mowing through the network, unable to deliver, no information about your delivery. On at least 30% of our letters. Only a bureaucracy like this survives in business. Thanks to the taxpayers who support this very inefficient and incompetent service. People go to FedEx or UPS.
USPS is by far the worst shipping service in the country.My mail is early delivered on time,they are constantly raising shipping prices while at the same time making service worse.6 pieces of lost mail in the past year.If they say it'll be delivered in 3 days it won't,double that and add 2 days.First class is now a 7 day service,so is priority mail.Been waiting on a package that was shipped and has now disappeared, for many days past the delivery date.Package hasn't moved in 5 days.Absolutely the worst most pathetic mail service available.I will no longer use USPS,UPS is a much better service.Usps is about nothing but the money.They don't care about the service they are supposed to provide.Customer service sucks,shipping takes min.of 5-8 days for what was a 3 day delivery service before the moron Dejoy was made postmaster.DO NOT USE USPS FOR SHIPPING.Package will either arrive damaged if it arrives at all.As I said pathetic service all around.
Recently, I have been experiencing a multitude of issues with USPS, which is highly unusual for me. Due to an injury sustained during my recent move, I required a change of address. Despite my attempts to contact them via phone, email, and in-person visits, I received no help whatsoever. Their suggestion to go online was futile, as the change of address forms were out of stock. Even after explaining my situation, they remained unhelpful and unsympathetic. Furthermore, USPS reshipped my packages back to the apartments instead of holding them, even though my apartment complex does not accept packages. When we visited the postal office, they stated that no one receives their packages as neither the apartments nor they hold mail. This was incredibly frustrating, as they were unhelpful, rude, and inconsistent. It is alarming that USPS cannot provide reliable assistance when people need it the most. Giving it a one-star is still being to nice.
My boyfriend mailed me a card and paid $9.95 for 2 day delivery from NY to NJ and it's in Wisconsin and won't be delivered for 5 days. When I went to the post office and asked if he could be refunded his money, I was told no because it wasn't guaranteed.
My mom sent this package to me during a deployment. It left her post office on 17Aug22. It is now 15Sep22 and they claim it hasn't left Houston, TX. When anyone there looks for it, they can't find it. The post office ain't what it used to be. You had a chance of getting your mail then. I guess I can forget getting anything sent to me during deployments. My mom has tried everything she can and they seem like they can care less. Good luck getting anything you send outside the US.
I honestly have never had an issue in the states sending items. My question is why she lives in Texas and that's all the further it got before getting lost.
As many have done this Holiday season, we ordered gifts online. I get it. I did probably wait longer than I should have to order online, but I am perplexed and frustrated at how a package ordered and mailed out on December 14, traveling from TX to PA could absolutely not make it to my doorstep before Christmas. Well, today is December 27 and I still have not received said package. I honestly could have gotten in my car and driven to TX to pick it up and still made it back well before Santa arrived. How can this be? Yes, I realize we are in a pandemic, but for a package to simply sit in one place for so long, it absolutely unacceptable! The package now has been sitting in Harrisburg, PA since December 23rd, just 25 minutes from my home. Santa is quite disappointed here! Shame on you, USPS! I only gave one star because it won't let me leave you zero. Please take the star as your coal for this year!
5-6 weeks to receive mail (bills, refunds) Ashame we cannot give a negative rating review. Also ashame you have a Monopoly and absolutely 0 accountability! My rating for the postal service is negative 800. Any other business would've been bankrupt for sucking this badly.
I mailed a registered letter with important documents in it on the 29 Nov and as of today the 18 Dec it is nowhere to be found. After numerous calls and a hundred emails all I am getting is the run around. I am told to go to this number and that email and that service and when I do they send me back. NOBODY seems to want to take responsibility or even bother their head to look into it in the first place! Now I have to put a claim in and the outcome of that itself is uncertain! Astonishing!

I removed my previous post in regards to the USPS. In hopes that they corrected the mishandling of my package. They haven't.
Packed arrived at the Orchard Park facility. 3 days late. 30 mins away from my location. No attempt on their behalf to save their reputation with me.
Still not delivered. I have not been contacted. And the site still shows it as to be delivered. 2 days ago.
Thank you the people at the Springville Post Office in their attempts to help. Not much they could do with others being incompetent and having no care for their long time customer.
Disappointing to say the least..
I had 2 packages that shipped through SmartPost... bad idea. Apparently SmartPost is "faster", yet my packages have been sitting at my local post office since last Saturday. Finally they're out for delivery today, well over a WEEK later. This makes the second time this exact thing has happened. And not to mention their ETA is never accurate and is constantly changing throughout the day of delivery. I tried calling the customer service multiple times regarding these packages, and they were quite rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. With service like this, it's literally no wonder they are BILLIONS of dollars in debt due to lost packages. Absolutely unacceptable! UPS is much, much, much better
Ridiculous. Clearly not handled with care. Quality and work ethic has really gone down over the years. It seems they don't care the way they used to and it's a sad shame. This is not the first time. This has happened to me and my family!
The staff at the Laurinburg, NC office believe that they are above Federal laws and regulations. They act as if abusing, victimizing, and damaging their customers is their goal of business. Beware! Avoid them, and the larger organization that seems to be protecting them! Use UPS, FedEx, even DHL...if you want your mail/packages handled correctly.
If there was 0 stars that would be this. Absolute trash humans, scum of the earth. They are a government service and honestly I am ashamed. Never ever send anything you dont want stolen through them. This is the 2nd time and they ripped my mail straight open and still delivered it. They also cut open a package and taped it back up after they gutted it.
I paid for delivery for my package they say it's going to get here this morning but instead of delivering it like I paid for they don't and bring it to their office with no warning at all like they didn't knock nothing and this isn't the first time either it's the fourth time they've done this. I'm sick which is why I paid for delivery but noooo I still have to pick it up because their incompetent people that can't deliver to a house that's less then 10 mins away. I will never go threw this god awful company again. I would rate it a zero out of five but of course they won't allow that. USPS isn't reliable.

Answer: They sell them! Seriously! Packages or bundles of multiple packages are typically auctioned off when they have been labeled as "Undeliverable" for a certain amount of time, 30-60 days I presume. Personally, I believe they sabotage any and all items they can so they won't have to deal with it & packages are intentionally marked "undeliverable" when the mail carrier is either too stupid or too lazy to get it in the recipient hands. That is my opinion that I formed from too much pointless research on USPS. BUT, The packages are really auctioned off! That is a fact, not my personal opinion.
