Last year around this time, I was able to ship packages to and from Saudi Arabia, no issue, no loss of packages, no searching my stuff.
This year I try the same thing, now. Because it's an Arab country. We can't send any perfumes, or bottled items. NOR any homemade snacks or foods. They try to charge a fee to send the other things and state that they will open my package and search it. $#*!ing despicable place, should be defunded and the contract given to someone else.
Unarguably the WORST automated 'customer service' line/system I have ever encountered. Spent over an hour and many many phone calls trying to get my questions answered about a lost package that I later found somewhere near my apartment, completely torn into. (All this after the USPS texted me to say it was 'delivered successfully'). The 'damaged package' option didn't even lead to any more help or information! Never was connected to an actual human, even after my TENTH phonecall and attempt to navigate this horrible system. I'm furious and hate that I have to deal with this embarrassment of a system. Unfortunately, I'll have to continue doing business with them when companies I order from have delivery contracts.
It wasn't that bad before, but recently I receive only the most necessary mail. That means no coupons, promotions or store flyers with the latest going in the trash ( I think) way before being delivered. I had a big problem even with packages delivered to wrong addresses or just missing. The USPS is giving the mail delivery people no training at all with expectation to deliver the very first day the whole mail to their route and not supervising any of them to select the hard working ones.
Postal service has become terrible. We have 3-4 different carriers per week. Mail used to be delivered close to the same time each day. Now its anytime between 11am and 6pm. Have they joined with the cable company? I was also told that carriers don't even have to get out of their jeeps to deliver the mail. No wonder people refuse to use this service now. I won't...ever again!
They lost both my packages in less then a week and I cant even get any answer back from them on what is happen with them. Worst deliver service. No wonder why there not getting money from the government. Cant even deliver a package. Glad my money not helping them stay open.
Haven't received water bill in months & they lost my State medical card. Wish they'd lose the local junk that can't be opted out of. I have Informed Delivery, so it will show when my water bill should arrive & I never have received it. The person that delivers my street ran a stop sign & almost hit my pregnant daughter too. I know with Covid things got wacky, but it has gotten worse in the last few months (Jan-Aug 2022).
Cashiers that are paid far too much for what they do. Without a smile but much condensing attitude. Then you add late delivery with top dollar prices. I hope they are shut down. My personal experience over the past years has made me
Decide to NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. Ever. The prices they charge are too much without any guarantee of delivery. I am so disappointed with USPS that I can't even express my anger. I hope that they close down. I sent a wedding day package for my cousins wedding party and it rooms 5 days but I paid for it to be delivered by 1-3. FedEx and UPS will get my money from this point forward. F u USPS!
My local mail guy uses his own vehicle which is filled full of mail and packages. From the front to the back ceiling to the floor. Crammed, bended, folded, beaten to fit. I know this because I have watched him load them into his vehicle. I thought about having a post offfice box instead, to help my mail from being destroyed. I found out today that they don't allow packages at my post office via a postal box. I wish every place would allow you.to.choose your shipper because I would choose someone else every time.
I've used USPS in the recent months to ship documents. The first packet was targeted to reach with in continental USA on 08/29/2023. This is a certified mail destined to reach Texas. Seems like the mail is having free ride on Texas state roads. The status says 'Moving Through Network' and never updated in the past 25+ days. I shipped a second document shipped international expected to reach in 6 days. Seems like the packet is sitting in a transit airport and collecting dust. Both the shipments were certified and paid extra premium. I fully regret using USPS and probably never go back again.
You pay for ''Priority Mail' in hopes that your mail will be a priority to reach it's destination on time! However, a week later, and it is nowhere to be found! There has to be a better way to send off bills, that stands a better chance of reaching it's destination, so not to be hit with late fees for an overdue bill, when it should have reached the company this time last week!
With shipping rates so high, you would think USPS would at least have the packages delivered on time, the last packages I have ordered have arrived late! This has been an ongoing thing alo tracking status never updates or status states package will be deliverd on a certain day but never does it. With the technology we have why cant these simple issues be fixed and have accurate information? Come on USPS get your act together!
I sent a birthday card to my daughter in tehachapi, ca from las vegas, nv. On july 2.2022 and its 07/23/22 and counting and she still has not received it. I had 165 dollars inside the card. Because my phone would not work i could not transfer it, the bank said i must have a cell phone so they could send a code. So i sent her birthday money in a card. I had the right address and a stamp on the card, now it looks like me and my daughter are out of 165 dollars. Nowadays u cant even rely on your mail to arrive or just disappear, this is how our Government has become, unreliable cant be trusted. I called and sent they post office in Vegas an email but you all no how that goes. Dont trust the Post Office Folks.
I know yesterday was a holiday 10/8/18 but on Friday and Saturday morning I mailed out packages and I just get a notification today it just left my post office today 10/9/18. Absolutely disgraceful, nobody works? 10 packages sent out and 1 is still not scanned an absolute joke!
I will never send a package through the service again. They lost my package put in another's box, wouldn't give me my insurance on package and didn't charge the receiver of package in their box with a federal crime which that is taking others mail. I'd use less than one star if possible.
The workers don't care because their superiors don't care. Mail constantly lost either incoming or outgoing. I never received my birthday card from my mother with money in it! I don't trust them and I try everything possible to not actually have to use mail because they are incompetent!
I've been sent a package through USPS international (I'm Canadian) and it's already a week late to start. When it finally arrived here, I was given very little information other than one location it passed through. My package was said to be delivered this morning - at 6:30AM, by the way, who delivers a package that early in the morning? - but when nobody was available (because it was 6:30, I wonder why) they took my package back to a holding center. They will not tell me where. I went to submit a help request and the website said it was invalid. Never trusting this service again, where the hell is my package?
It's that time of the year -- Christmas. And time to review all mail and parcel carriers.
I'll start with the United States Parcel Service.
Now... I do not wish to tempt fate, but so far -- so good.
Private carriers seem to have inspired the U.S. Mail to improve its service and has succeeded. I love the tracking option.
All in all, no complaints.

Imagine a shipping business that employed grumpy people, never delivered packages on time and were never accountable for those lost. Welcome to the USPS. The last 3 items sent in the mail were late. One was stuck in Rapid City SD for 6 weeks. The USPS will eventually die off.
I have ordered 4 different times and every single time i have purchased something they send it back to the sender, i have called them before about it and just as i thought they would help no, instead, the customer service is rude. Absolutely terrible service. The worst carrier you could possibly ask for.
Lazy, incompetent, illiterate... Just a few words that come to mind. Almost everyday my mail is left hanging out of the mailbox. (and no, the other flap is not locked closed, I tried that and my mail was rubber banded to my door handle?) Isnt securing the mail a basic job function for carriers?

Answer: They sell them! Seriously! Packages or bundles of multiple packages are typically auctioned off when they have been labeled as "Undeliverable" for a certain amount of time, 30-60 days I presume. Personally, I believe they sabotage any and all items they can so they won't have to deal with it & packages are intentionally marked "undeliverable" when the mail carrier is either too stupid or too lazy to get it in the recipient hands. That is my opinion that I formed from too much pointless research on USPS. BUT, The packages are really auctioned off! That is a fact, not my personal opinion.
