I was duped by the low advertised price, I found it so great, that I got my sister to get hers there too.
Long story short, neither one of us is able to use them now. In her case the store claims to have remade the glasses twice, in my case, they claim that they remade the prescription four times and that the prescription was correct.
This is not my first pair of glasses, but, it is the worst pair of prescription eye glasses I have ever had, and my sister tells me that she too is wearing her old glasses, because, the one from Americas Best do not work. Basically I cannot see, and from reading the many other reviews it seems to be a big problem with America's Best.
I ended up paying close to $487.00 for the frames ( nothing special there), and at the end of the day I just got plain tired of going back to their location here at Westlake Square here in Houston North area. So tired that I am actually wearing my old glasses from another eyeglass company here in Humble, Texas.
Although $487.00 dollars WASTED doing business with these incompetents is not a whole lot of money, ( IF the glasses had been made correctly). I realize that not once have I got out the door anywhere when getting new prescription glasses, but, it was never even close to the $487.00 paid to Americas Best, and those eyeglasses I could see with. My glasses from these jokers at Americas Best give me headaches, tired eyes, poor vision, and headaches when I wear them.
Right now I am wearing my older pair that was to be replaced with the ones they made for me, I can see ten times better with my old ones!
No one is perfect, machinery could be out of calibration, etc. Many things can affect the quality of an end product, I got that, however these folks had FOUR chances to get it right. My advice, stay away from these incompetents.
