Easirent's reputation is predominantly negative, with numerous customers expressing frustration over hidden fees, poor customer service, and operational inefficiencies. Common complaints include long wait times for vehicle pick-up, lack of transparency regarding additional charges, and unhelpful staff. Many customers reported feeling misled by advertised rates that ballooned with add-ons. While a few customers noted the affordability of initial rental prices, the overall sentiment highlights a significant dissatisfaction with the company's practices and support, leading to a strong recommendation to seek alternatives for car rentals.

Never book a car with them. I haven't seen such an irresponsible company and employees. They did not pick up at the airport, closed their rental place before the scheduled time. Not only did they refuse to provide me a car next day morning, but also refused to refund my money. Finally, I had to dispute the transaction through my credit card company to get my money back. They're just trash, stay away!
They took a $500 deposit on our Credit Card! We don't use a debit card! No vehicle paperwork given. You must take a photo copy of your rent! No inspection of rental car and gas was 1/8 of a tank! Stay away! You will regret going to them! Listen tooooo meeee! Stay away!
I hope I could give them a zero. Terrible experience. DO NOT rent form them. I am out of hundreds of dollars because of this company. Shame on Expedia for leading me to believe they were reputable.
Suppose you want to rent a car from Expedia or anywhere like these websites. It would be best if you were very careful with their rental agreement because Rental car agency sends their rental agreement after you make the payment to the website. Once you go there, you will have full of surprises.
I booked from and made the payment on Expedia and went to Easirent in Palm Beach Airport. Easirent asked for $100 for each 150miles, and I told them my agreement was unlimited with Expedia.
People who work in their offices are vulgar and uncommunicated behavioral. I canceled my trip and booking then I lost $300 for 2 days.
I had the WORST experience at Easirent car rental at Charlotte airport, NC USA. I had a confirmed booking. Upon arrival, instructions were to call for a shuttle, which I did. Took about 5 calls before someone answered. They took my name over the phone and said shuttle will be right over. Upon arrival, there were about 30 other people who had bookings waiting over 2 hours for a car. The employee handed me a wait list to add my name to. She mentioned there are no cars and that I would have to wait. Not apologetic. As though this is acceptable. I have NEVER heard of such a thing. Easirent should not exist. What a terrible company.
EASIRENT charged me twice for the same event. They are not returning my calls or emails. According to their WEB, EASIRENT will investigate and respond to all inquiries that are raised within 6 calendar months to respond. RRF# *******
Cancelled by car the day I was arriving in Ireland. Said they could not help. Have tried multiple times to reach customer service with no reply. Had to rent from another rental company for $500 more.
I was well pleased with how quickly my check-in went today. I was in and out with ease and Shaquille Jobe "Shag" was great. He treated me with respect and was very professional. I would defiantly use Easirent again.
Made a reservation online and when I went to pick up my compact car, as per the reservation, they wanted to charge me more since they had no compact cars- $7 a day more.
Stay far away from this joke of a rental company. This place is a scam and charged every fee they could have. Would give zero stars if I could.
I tried to rent a car thought priceline.com with Easirent nothing was easy about this was told to go to the shuttle area and pick up the phone to have a shuttle come to pick me up they said we don't have any shuttle drivers to pick you up you have to Uber there. There lot is located off the airport grounds once I get there, they tell me we don't have and cars for you I said I made a reservation for pickup weeks ago sorry we don't have any cars for you now the lot is full of cars they said because I didn't per pay, they don't have a car for me. I will never recommend your company to anyone, and this is how you do business very unprofessional company
I totally agree with all negative reviews. When I delivered the car, the office employee checked it and saw a tiny scratch and a little bump that I hadn't noticed at all. My contract included a 450€ excess for damages and he told me that I'd lose it for sure. I couldn't understand how such minor damages could cost so much and he said that I would also be charged for the days the car was at the garage (three days minimum according to him). I asked him to send me the bill 'coz I wanted to check myself the garage costs after the repairs (and to check IF they were REALLY going to take the car to the garage) and he said that that was totally confidential. But the story doesn't end there. Some days afterwards they sent me the bill and they had charged me 600€ instead of those 450€ agreed. I tried to contact them several times (phone, website chat, e-mail) to ask why and nobody was willing to help. After a week, they finally answered me and they said the three "supposed" days in the garage were not included in the insurance and that I had to pay 50€ per day. Terrible experience, terrible customer service and no work ethic whatsoever.
Giving 1 star, but not even, if the system would allow me.
This the worst renting car experience in my entire life. Rude people everywhere, from the rental place which is a container with windows, to the support people. They don't pick up the phone when you need them and we end up with a flat tire in the middle of no where because the lock wheel nut removal tool was not provided. Run, run, run in the other direction... Here is the address, but based on reviews they have the same attitude all across US. They should have their operation license removed.

We finally switched to SixT. Day and night, very professional, in real decent offices.
One star is too many!
Absolutely the worst, web site says pick up car Tampa International airport. Actually you have to shuttle to an Off site location. To make matters worse when declining supplemental insurance I was then asked to provide my own copy of my auto insurance "shame on me for reading the fine print" I commented on this is the first I've been asked after a couple rude comments from her I locate a email showing an attachment receipt with my policy number. The counter worker says a quote is not acceptable. I replied it's a paid receipt with my account number, I was angry…. The counter worker had a major attitude where the supervisor was required to finish the process of my rental.
Spend the extra money and use a known car rental.
Didn't receive the vehicle I paid for or even a comparable one. My reservation was paid in full a week ahead and stated that no amount is due at pick up. Well, they charged me an extra $140 for God knows what. Took the company 3 months to finally respond to my inquiry on a refund. The Branch Manager told me that my reservation was non-refundable. Even though they failed to provide me with the vehicle I paid for. Stay away from this company!
This car company based in Fort Lauderdale is a scam. They booked your rental appointment, removed the money from your credit card, then upon arrival the credit car machine doesn't read your card, mainly because they have no car to offer. They document you as a no show and blatantly refuse to refund your money... a scam by design. Please dont book with them.
Used Expedia to book rental - upon arriving at an off site location - told did not have vehicle for price of my confirmation from Expedia- upcharged over 280.00 for rental. Do not use this car rental company
Angela Watson, was Awesome! Got us in and out in record time no delays! Charlotte, North Carolina
You will get a fabulous rate online and then when you get to the counter you are informed that you are REQUIRED to purchase additional insurance unless you have the PRINTED copy of your personal auto policy showing coverage specific to rental cars. (Do you often travel with printed copies of your insurance documents?). NONE OF THESE POLICIES ARE DISCLOSED AT THE TIME OF RENTAL.
Its hard to give them a 1 star service when they dont show up, and dont answer phone calls. I cant event tell if they are a legal company as I have had no further contact with them after making the initial booking.
I made an online booking, thankfully I selected the "pay on arrival" option. Sent them our arrival information and arrived to Fort Lauderdale airport. Arriving, they say you need to call them to have a van drive around to pick you up as it is off site, however it will also drive around every 15 minutes.
I called no less than 10 times, waited no less than 40 minutes, no van came around, noone picked up the phone, there was no communication of any kind from Easirent or its employees. Obviously I then had to book with another company that had limited options and was considerably more expensive than it needed to be as I was booking a "last minute" rental.
Answer: They take forever to answer the phone I had to keep calling until some one answers.
