Easirent's reputation is predominantly negative, with numerous customers expressing frustration over hidden fees, poor customer service, and operational inefficiencies. Common complaints include long wait times for vehicle pick-up, lack of transparency regarding additional charges, and unhelpful staff. Many customers reported feeling misled by advertised rates that ballooned with add-ons. While a few customers noted the affordability of initial rental prices, the overall sentiment highlights a significant dissatisfaction with the company's practices and support, leading to a strong recommendation to seek alternatives for car rentals.

The only thing easy was reserving it online. From that point it was like driving off a cliff. Horrible, just plain horrible. Pay the extra dollar to use a different company. Still issues after. I just cant explain how bad the overall experience was. Record everything with your phone. Amnesia is strong with this company.
Wish I could give less than one star.
Had a PREPAID rental for a mini van at the salt lake airport.
Online it says facility is at airport, but we had to take a shuttle for about a 20 minute drive with 3 other groups of people who had prepaid rentals. We get to their "office" and were herded into a room where 2 guys were standing behind a counter. They ignored everyone for abotu 5 to 10 minutes and then one of them looked up and said we ar out of cars, you have to go elsewhere.
What?
We had a prepaid rental and were stranded 20 minutes from the airport along with 3 other groups who also did not get a rental vehicle.
The guy then went back to looking at his computer ignoring everyone.
Everyone started asking what we are supposed to do, and the guy shrugged his shoulders and continued ignoring everyone.
We wound up having to take an uber to our destination, and noi idea what happened to the 3 other groups of people stranded there.
I had to dispute the charge from them on my credit car and got that refunded.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
So Priceline and other travel websites allow this thieving business to accept reservations for cheap cars, but you won't get your car if they accept your reservation for 11pm. They close at 11, so no, there won't be a shuttle coming to pick you up and take you to their off-site location. Using their shuttle-location link doesn't work because the shuttles have stopped. Calling doesn't work because they're closed for the day. The dozen or so people who waited with me for more than an hour finally took taxis to our destinations, as it was too late (after midnight) to find another rental car. When attempting to get a refund for the money I was charged, they had the audacity to call me a no-show, and said even though my rental agreement was for 11pm, I should have been there earlier to pick up the car. Huh? Are they daft or just used to ruining people's business and vacation travel? They insisted I didn't call them --- but their office was closed and if they accepted messages ( I don't remember) I certainly would have left one. They should not be in business, nor should Priceline or Expedia allow for them to be partners in crime.
Dont ever rent a car from this SCAMMERS! We reserved a car here through priceline.com last Thanksgiving. When we got there there they dont have car available eventhough we already paid for the reservation. They overbooked. Staff was very rude! Saying its not their responsibility and theres nothing they can do. No apologies and regrets. When we try to cancel our payment through priceline They called EASIRENT to confirm they dont have a car. No one answeres the phone. The next day Priceline called them again and said that we were no Show so we cannont get our money back! Eventhough I have a proof that we took UBER back to the airport to find another CAR. Pathetic Loosers working there scamming people! You will get Karma and this bussiness will not succeed with this kind of people!
Their emails come from Holday cars. They call themselves Easirent. They are the only company I know who possibly split their identity since they know they're crooks and they are habitual offenders. They take money for the entire tenor and refuse to give you the car for a shorter period! SERIOUSLY! And then they blame the client for not informing them about a delayed flight! The audacity in today's world is just unacceptable.
Horrible experience from service to ripoff add-on charges.
Not in the airport rental terminal so walked 10 minutes then waited 1/2 hour outside for shuttle for a 15 minute ride to the rental office. Would save an hour if rented from any other company at the airport.
Then the ripoff began. They advertise very low rates and then want to add $15/day for spousal driver, $25/day for a EZ toll box and then said my Expedia collision insurance was not enough and claimed I needed extra liability insurance and that my Visa card does not have any insurance. So they would have wanted to add another $40/day - all this on top of a rental charge of only $25 per day.
Said no thanks, took the shuttle back to the rental center at the airport and got a larger car, with insurance, for $90/day.

A week before arriving at Las Vegas I reserved a rental car from Easirent through Expedia. As I arrived at the airport around midnight when the Easirent office was closed, I got a taxi to the hotel and the next morning again got a taxi to their office. That was the first inconvenience that I had to swallow to get a relatively cheap rental.
I was at the Easirent location (old dirty trailer in the middle of nowhere, 6 miles south of the Strip) at 8:30 am, so luckily I was the first in line. The process for getting the car was long and tedious. They were asking for many things and then they shocked me with the fact that I had to pay almost double to drive the car out of Nevada. As Las Vegas is in the corner of Nevada, it means that almost any out-of-city drive would be out-of-state. My original cost was $453 and I had to pay additional $277 for out-of-state driving! Their web-site (not Expedia!) has a mention typed with small font of some fee for out-of-state driving, but it doesn't say how high it is!
The car I got was in relatively good shape, not bad inside, but really dirty from outside. Also, it didn't have any washer fluid in it. When I asked the guy at the garage to fill the washer tank he only put less than a quart in it. He said: "If I pour a full gallon for you, I won't have for the other cars!".
The returning at 9:30 pm wasn't that bad, but again too far from the airport.
A week after I returned the car, there was one more big surprise: all the tolls that I had to pay had an additional FINE FEE of of 3 x $25 plus tax. I ended up paying $85 on top of my $30 tolls! Absolute rip-off!
I'll definitely never rent a car again from Easirent and I will inform Expedia that with their business deal, they are supporting a disgraceful company that is indirectly ruining their reptation.
Please, stay away Easirent - Las Vegas. It's very inconvenient and you'll end up paying more at the end. I was lucky that I got a decent vehicle, probably because if I was there really early in the morning, but almost all the rest was a bad experience.
Frequent car rental customers, but first time (and last) with Easirent. Be prepared to wait in line for an hour +, mostly due to the fact that they try to add all kinds of additional feels which make your rental about 4 to 5 times as much as what you reserved at. In addition to your quoted price, plan on paying an extra $29.99/day purchasing their insurance coverage. I have full rental coverage with my policy as well as full coverage in general since my personal car is brand new. This wasn't good enough, even though I produced the policy as evidence using my insurance company's app. Also, no driving out of the local area. This will cost you an additional $20/day. Oh yeah, also better not exceed 20 miles day. You'll get fees for that as well. This place need to be shut down by the BBB.
This is a bad one! We rented a car through Priceline and it ended up being easirent who had never used before... And never will again. We rented from the Las Vegas place. I believe the guy who helped me his name was Michael. He was a young light skin black fellow who was very unprofessional to say the least. When we finally got the car rented after dealing with his gangster attitude I noticed the right front fender well had a humongous dent in it. I went back in to tell them that they didn't mark that on the sheet that I signed and he said I f****** know it's there. I told him I wanted him to mark it on the sheet that it was dented and he asked me what my f****** problem was and very nastily obviously. Seriously. I couldn't believe how he was acting. So I told him again that I wanted him to Market and then I took a picture of it because I was worried he was just going to throw it in the trash or something. He then yelled just get the f*** out. Luckily there was a gentleman in there with me who walked outside and gave me his phone number in case I needed a witness. We both agreed we've never seen anything like that before in any kind of establishment personally. I rented this car on the evening of February 25th at about 5:30. Whoever that guy was absolutely needs fired. It basically ruined my first night in Vegas.
After a 2hour and 10 minute wait I finally got to see an agent. The reason I even waited was because I prepaid. Mistake!
After a brief input of information, address, phone numbers, license, credit card, the person (agent) asked me if I plan on taking the car out of Las Vegas?. I said probably. Vegas is surrounded by other towns. Then he corrected himself and clarified Nevada. Then he asked if I had a return flight. What difference does that make I asked myself. Nevada is not an international destination with a 90 day limit stay.
I am an airline employee and travel non-revenue ( non-rev). I fly based on availability. Therefore I typically don't list on a flight until 24 hours before. However this agent was adamant that I need to have a confirmed reservation. Ok, I made one on the spot. Then he said " no, you need to have one before you come up to see me.? I said what fu**en difference does it make I asked him?
It's a confirmed reservation, with my name a valid PNR number ( confirmation code) with an Airline. No good enough, denied.
At this point I was furious for wasting 2 hours of my life trying to save $75 on price compared to renting with a major car rental company. I asked for a refund, which the agent said it was in and It will take some time to process through Corporate. I'll never see that refund. Maybe I will. I felt bad about my outburst, but it did feel good to let out my frustration. At least I was spared the insurance question that was coming up next. I was able to listen in on how people ahead of me struggled with that one. Apparently insurance carrier information and proof of insurance isn't enough. They need to see a detail itemize breakdown that you have collision.
I can see if they were the only rental place in the world, then they can make their own rules.
2 hours!
Unfortunately we take out our frustration on the people that don't deserve it. They are just there to follow someone's rule. They get paid the least, do all the work, and take all the crap. For that I apologize. I'm sorry hair bun Q-Tip head guy😣.
This is a very cheap car rental company that makes its money on folks looking for a deal. There are no deals here. The company is shady with very strange rules about car rentals, They make reservations for cars they do not have and because they are offsite of the airport, you do not have the ability to shop around after they tell you that the wait for a car is 1-6 hrs. There are a number of hidden charges with each rental that shoots the prices up to what other actual car rental companies charge. Cars are given to you DIRTY and smelly but it's take this or wait another hour or so for a car to be returned before we have one for you, This is NOT how we rent cars in the USA.
We booked the car through expedia, paid in full and called in advance several times to make sure we have a car as the flight is late ~ 6:30PM. We got to the rental place, got in line, waited for an hour and a half and then was told there was no car. If we wanted a refund we will have to get it ourselves (not from them). I was speechless. Avoid Easirent at all cost!
Absolute trash of a company. I found a used syringe right outside the front door. The inside of the place stank of low-grade marijuana. The staff was unattentive and unhelpful. The place itself was misleading and VERY difficult to find. I had to spend an extra 60$ just getting to this ghetto $#*! place. Then they denied me because I did not purchase 3rd party full coverage beforehand like I knew or anything. Absolute bottom of the barrel trash company.
Bwfore my Charlotte vacation, I rented thru expedia wo knowing they weren't top of the line vendors. I thought there were tolls on the route so agreed to the $69 charge to cover the expected tolls. Later that day I discovered our route did not have tolls. I tried to get a refund for that but was told, "you agreed to it." True but that was based on erroneous information. You'd think just for good PR they would refund that amt. Be warned that the vacation companies contract w anyone who pays them and you might not get any of the well known vendors. Rentals w them were going to cost $250. Guess what, that's what the final bill was for 2nd rate company.
I recently used the service. A refund deposit of $500 was debited from my account within 2 minutes. It is advertised refund return 3-5 business days. I finally got thru to speak to someone and she said refund 7-10 days (business). Will not recommend.
I reserved for 3days on 2/4/24, but used only 2 days, but they still charged me for the full 3 days. When I call them. I was told it was my fault not using the full reservation period and they do no refund. They should have told me upfront. I have never experienced this with other rental companies before.
Arrived to pick up my reserved SUV. They forced me to take the insurance. $30 car. $22 insurance I have never had this type of problem when renting a vehicle out of state.
STAY AWAY
I (from Alberta, Canada) rented a vehicle from Easirent through Expedia. When I came to pick up the vehicle in Las Vegas, the clerk informed me that the collision damage waiver (CDW) that is included in my premium credit card would not be accepted and neither would the CDW I have through my own car insurance. He wanted to charge me approximately 1.5 times the cost of the car rental fee just for insurance (on top of the rental fee I had already paid). If I didn't pay, they would not give me a car. The online company policy states that CDWs are accepted. I cancelled the rental because of breach of contract on part of Easirent. They refused to refund my money. I have rented vehicles in many parts of the world and have never encountered such a scam.
Reserved a vehicle online arrived at the Miami airport waiting for Easirent shuttle, it runs every 15-20 minutes from easirent to the airport. It had been over 30 minutes so I called to check on the status of the shuttle, they didn't answer the phone. Called another 5 times, no answer, no option to leave a message or get a call back. After 45 minutes we had to find transportation on our own to get to easirent to pick up our rented/reserved vehicle. When we got to the easirent location I politely told the man working the desk that we had waited almost an hour for a shuttle and had to pay for a ride because the shuttle never showed up. He told me that I did not wait almost an hour for a ride. I didn't argue with him, but he was really rude. After waiting for two other people in line in front of us, we were told our vehicle was ready. It was not the vehicle I had reserved with my online booking, but at this point I just wanted a vehicle and to get to my hotel room. We tried later to call easirent to see if we could drop the car off at other locations of theirs, they didn't answer. We called 13 times in the two days. We never got an answer any of these times. We ended up just dropping the car off at another one of their locations, at the Fort Lauderdale location. When dropping it off they had probably 6 people in line in front of us, all frustrated and upset. When we dropped the car off they didn't ask our name or for any of our paperwork, they didn't even ask where the vehicle was parked. We handed them the keys and walked out. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had with a car rental. I do not recommend renting a vehicle from them. If I could give them negative stars I would. Made our vacation very stressful.
I had the worst experience ever with the lady on the front desk, she was rude to all customers including myself like it was our fault she was working on Christmas day. She literally left me standing to get her break. I would never rent from easy-rental again. I'll be more than happy to receive a call from management and explain everything I experienced during my visit. I will make sure non of the people i know would rent from them too. Also, it's been a couple of weeks since I returned the rental car and still did not get my deposit back.
Answer: They take forever to answer the phone I had to keep calling until some one answers.
