I was very excited when I got my first order that was placed on May 14th. Sadly it took nearly 2 months to be delivered. I know the delivery was delayed due to COVID, and making sure staff were protected so I kept that in mind. Same with my second order that was placed on May 30. I did receive both orders, of the $200 mystery sound sabers, but I was a little disappointed. I love the first saber from the $200 mystery, but when I got the second $200 it was the EXACT same saber, only a different color blade? Not sure on how random the choosing is or the probability to get the exact same saber sent me to me given my orders were placed about 2 weeks apart. I know its a chance at a different saber, but the coincidence of getting the EXACT same one, is questionable. I was tempted to get another mystery saber, but I really do not want to take a chance at getting a third DUPLICATE. Overall I love the sabers, great craftsmanship and excellent quality! I may end up having one constructed so it is unique and completely different, but I will have to think on this.

It took a few months before i heard anything other than the first transaction purchasing. I assumed they must he built by hand and not a huge operation but when i reached out to confirm i got zero response. I assumed due to the covid situation things would be slow but i hoped to at least get a hood of someone to confirm, no luck. The next thing i heard was that it was shipped. It arrived shortly after and was satisfactory, everything was as i ordered, looks great. However the milling left sharp edges on the windows that sliced my hand good, and there was nothing but a Velcro wrap around the batteries for protection. I had to take it apart and put some foam from a pool noodle in to keep the batteries from smacking around inside the handle. The blade/tube is quite durable though i wouldnt advertise light sparring with wooden bokken, they will very likely break, and if you leave bevels on the handle sharp as they are, they will definitely slice up hands. Using my mechanic gloves protected my hands but then also showed me the lack of protection to the electronics would likely be the biggest weak spot in sparring. Also it may have been my error, but the handle is too short by about 3 inches, i assumed the windows would be high like a guard not cut into the most balanced spot for holding.
Great product aside the sharp bevels, just a little sanding, and a bit of foam in the handle to protect the electronics would go a LONG way. Also waterproofing is a great addition you can make. I would be happy to help you to make more durable sparring type sabers.

The lightsabers I bought were nice, I essentially got what I paid for (1 Dark Initiate LE v5, and 1 mystery box saber that turned out to be an Aeon v4). I ordered my sabers during the May the 4th sale, which in 2020 was in the middle of the pandemic, so I knew ahead of time the wait would be a bit longer than normal. The website stated a lead time of 4 weeks, which was understandable. However well after that month (5weeks total by then), they still weren't delivered so I emailed the customer service. It took them well over a week to get back to me, which again I expected because of the pandemic. Besides the timing the customer service representative understood my concern and agreed that the delay was a bit too long and mailed it a couple days after their response. The total wait time from order to delivery was 7 weeks. Overall the people were understanding and the quality of the products I got were what I paid for, but the wait time was a bit long.
