The product is awesome but it took almost a month to get and if I didn't email you trying to figure out what was taking so long I'm not sure I would even have it yet. When you are being l behind on your orders you should al at least send an email letting the customer know about it. Other than that I'm extremely satisfied with the saber
This is the third order and tenth saber I've bought this year. Nothing disappointing yet. I especially love the mystery boxes which 2 out of 8 came with sound. If I had anything critical to say, it is a little slow. Typically taking about three weeks to process.
The products are great they work well but the shipping process is chaotic. No confirmation email about when the order ships. Hell I got over night shipping on one a month or two ago and it's still not here. Why call it overnight when it's been 2 months?!
Both designs came exactly as expected, my only complaint is the battery life on the first saber. I would not use sabers for contact, they are primarily used as decoration. They are very bright and sound really good, with awesome contact response. Delivery time was great. I did not have to call customer service for any issues, the youtube videos were able to help me with changing out the batteries. Overall a pleasant experience.
Paid good money for a custom saber. Delivery was fine. Saber was beautiful. Worked about 3 weeks and was hardly used. It sat on display in my work station. In the three weeks it was sitting there it was turned on a handful of times. Then just quit. Though battery was dead but charging them didn't work. New batteries didn't work. Won't light up and sound is at 1/4 volume. I called with no response. Was directed to email. 2 emails and multiple calls now their voice-mail is full. Never got a reply its been since early march... its september... so glad I paid 300$ for a paperweight
It took over 3 months to get my sabers delivered. Lead time said 3-4 weeks so it was a little deceiving. I tried to reach out multiple times to get more information but did not hear back from support for weeks. Finally when I got through with someone she was great though. The sabers themselves are fantastic. They are high quality and well worth the price. Just beware it will take a lot longer than you expect to get them.
Son is happy with the saber so I guess that is what matters the most. Long shipping delays... they need to update their website to disclose the fact and not reply to an email saying 3-5 more business days when they know it's going to be longer. Don't promise what you can't deliver. Everyone would be much happier with you guys if you under promised and over delivered... not the other way around. Would have been nice after such a long wait and missed shipped times if he had gotten any kind of an upgrade. Don't guess you will send me the wrench you left out?
The sabers are always amazing quality and craftsmanship. Biggest issue they have is that it takes time to make the sabers this good, so don't expect super fast turnaround for a saber with sound. I personally recommend you get a few mystery boxes first, then order your custom saber after, so you don't go insane waiting for it. Mystery sabers arrive usually in less than 2 weeks and custom orders can take 4 weeks or longer. Mine took 9 weeks, but they hooked me up because of the wait. Definitely going to get more when I have a chance
So, this is an edit to my original 1 star review. I finally received a response 6 emails later. Jake from ultra sabers was very nice and is going to make sure my order is finally shipped since it took more than 2 weeks he also gave me a coupon for 20% off. I am looking forward to seeing the quality of the saber, and may do business again with this company depending on the quality.
I get it, they're swamped but this is ridiculous. Ordered three weeks. Plenty of time according to their website for a Christmas delivery. Here we sit, Christmas Eve and my order is still "processing" and they can't possibly be bothered to reply to the numerous emails I've sent. Forget a phone, that's a wasted exercise. Amazing though, sure didn't take them any time to process my payment.
Great saber, my son loves it. We've broken a ton of toy sabers and I'm happy to have found one that will stand up to some abuse. Also a well crafted beautiful piece. Although it seemed a bit pricey at first, I feel it was well worth the money spent, we'll most likely purchase another soon.
This company will continue to delay your shipment for months - 61 days after the original order date I was advised it could take up to 8 plus more weeks to receive. The intermittent customer service responses will make you think the company isn't even legit. If you try to cancel the order you are told the fine print of your contract reads they will keep a hefty restocking fee for a product they never had in stock. Still haven't received a refund! Stay away from this phony company! There are other companies offering quality products at more reasonable prices with reasonable shipment times.
Light didn't work, had to send it back for inspection. No confirmation about you received the item, or any type of communication on the progress of this issue. However previous rep I spoke over email was trying to be helpful... Hope this problem will be resolved soon
I am very pleased with the saber itself. So much so, that I ordered another for a friends birthday. But the customer service and time to complete my order was abysmal. Their own estimates of 5-8 days, and then 8-14 days when the initial time had expired, were way off and I received mine 24 days later. Most of my emails and one phone message were not answered or acknowledged. They may need to hire more staff or at least plan for temps in busy seasons.
Buyer beware. Terrible company. Takes your money and never sends what you ordered. Won't answer emails calls or message. Its been over 4 months since we ordered. They refuse to respond to any communication. Never issued a refund just took the money.
First time impulse buying but totally worth it! Always dreamed of owning a real light saber and not one of those cheap Walmart ones. It was like a second christmas when it came in the mail :) already planning on purchasing other sabers.
I purchased two fully decked out sabers with diamond sound for nearly $1000. It took 11 weeks for them to arrive. After less than 48 hours, only being turned on about 10 times and lightly tapping it with my 3 year old, one saber is completely dead. Changed the batteries and got only sound for 5 secs, then dead again. Try three more sets of batteries and nothing. Emailed 5 times and called many times to find out when it would arrive and no response. I inquired about how to get it fixed and expect no response. I will be seeking legal action. The sabers also have scratches and imperfections you would not expect for a nearly $500 purchase. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and I used to be an AT&T customer.
I have been looking at the Dark Liberator saber for almost a year. It has just the look I wanted, but I was waiting for the right time budget-wise. Then came the flash sale! Yippee.
The saber arrived super-well packaged and padded. No shipping damage was going to get through that packaging! Everything was set up and ready to go right out of the box.
I love the way it looks with my Fire Orange blade. The Premium Obsidian Sound board sounds awesome.
I am now the envy of my kids who are hinting that a new Ultra Saber would make a great birthday gift.
I received my first order from Ultra Sabers. The hilt was gorgeous and the blade is super bright! The parts were really high quality - I showed it to a bunch of engineer and machinist friends who were all impressed and intrigued with how it was made. I'm sure I'll be back again for another saber at some point and in the meantime, I will definitely recommend this site!
I'm very impressed by the quality and craftsmanship that went into the two sabers that I bought for both my son and I. The hilt and attached pieces are all made from durable metal and the blades are also extremely tough because we chose the heavy grade blade option for sparring. The sound card is awesome and we haven't even used it to its full capabilities yet. I've also recently ordered a saber staff for my son for Easter to use in his Taekwondo Bo Staff demonstrations and sparring, which should also be awesome. Overall I really like their products compared to others I've also tried lately and the options available to customize your saber to your own taste.
Answer: Hello Dale R. What I can tell you is that Ultrasabers reside in Texas and I live in Southern Québec, in Canada. It took about 4 days for the two Sabers I ordered to get to me. That is extremely fast by my experience. I've been doing mail orders since 1995, between once a month to 4 times a year. In that time, I have never seen such speed. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes as far as I know all the hilts are made from aircraft aluminum
Answer: Currently it says they have a 4 week lead time meaning it should take 4 weeks to complete. However this is not accurate. I recently received an email saying that they were updating their lead times to be more accurate. Back to your question though. As you know we are stuck in a pandemic. This makes it hard for their providers to give them all the parts they need. So, it takes at least a couple more weeks currently to finish orders.

Answer: Yup they are from the USofA - I got mine from them, Im based in Australia so I had the same concerns - but the customer service it outstanding. They are expensive but well worth it!
