My dog is 14 years old and has arthritis in her hips that affect her mobility and general movement. I've noticed over the past weeks that she is initiating play with us more and her movement has improved Also her coat is shedding off more quickly this summer and is shinier, she just looks healthier and seems to feel better! YEAH!
Toby actually loves the product! He smells the container and shows excitement knowing he's about to get fed.
I"ve commented that it is alot like catnip for dogs! (Wondering maybe?) Only problem is he is still itching a lot and I thought this product would remedy the problem. Otherwise he seems more pert!
Bought this because my dogs poop was runny and he had terrible dandruff flake. Within 2 weeks his poop was normal and dandruff significantly reduced and coat feels softer and is shinier. I will be placing another order.
Try Dr. Marty's. Just as good for your dog. I would never wait 4 weeks for Ultimate Pet Nutrition
dog food. There are other freeze dried dog food just like this one.
Do not listen to all there hype here that there dog food is better. In this case the freeze dried are all good quality.
I am just not going to wait over 4 weeks for my pre-paid dog food to be told they did not know when I would get my dog food... Not in this days and time... Think before you buy!
The product is good, I can see some improvements. Still, I wish to see more. My dog is 13 and has a hard time walking, I bought the Nutra Thrive after watching the commercial ad and decided to try out. Understanding that results are coming with the time I will order one more and hope for the best.
I haven't noticed any change in my dog, but he was healthy when we started. He absolutely hates the taste and to get him to eat it, we have to mix wet food with it. It's a whole thing now. Hopefully it provides him with the nutrition he needs!
Thank you for reaching out to me for my feedback on your product. When I read about your product I was excited for my one dog that apparently has an allergy problem, always licking his paws, scratching himself, makes me feel bad for him. Would give him benidryl, baths, it would help but not for long. So, I was real hopeful that your product would help after reading about it. I can see a big change in my other dogs coat, much softer, feels really good. My dog with the problems still is uncomfortable. They both love the taste of it, an they both seem to have a much better stool. If u could help me in your opinion with something else to try for my buddy I would really appreciate it. Thank you
I have been giving my 2 dogs (9 and 6) the powder on their kibble for 3 weeks now and my 6 year old with allergies has stopped itching and there is less build up on her coat. Also, my 9 year old is hopping into bed much easier!
I originally got it because my dog was having trouble with mobility. I have been giving it now for a little over three weeks and she loves the taste-I just mix it with about 1cup quality food and some water. I do see a remarkable change in her attitude, She is excited and raring to go. But unfortunately I have not seen much change in her mobility issues and therefore can't give it the 5 stars I was hoping for.
I have three dogs in various stages of life. One is almost 15, one 7 and almost a year old. I tried the nutra thrive on my oldest dog first as she was the one showing obvious signs of aging. She laid around a lot and was just not engaging in our day to day activities. I started her out on the nutra thrive almost a montage ago. After about 3 weeks I noticed she was always by me and followed me from room to room. Her eyes looked like she was more focused and alert and she even seems to be just happier since she's been on nutra thrive. I have now started my 7 year old on it as well to see if it will help her not eat grass all the time. Maybe she is eating it due to a lack of nutrition? More to come on that as she has only been on nutra thrive for less than a week.
I wanted to start our Great Dane puppy on a nutritional supplement because it is what the breeder recommends. I watched the video/ad for Nutra Thrive and wanted to try it. Our puppy had had frequent loose stools, itchy skin, and was a little lethargic. After one month of adding 2 scoops to one meal each day, he has more energy and solid, regular stools. 2 out of 3 is good! Plus he seems to enjoy the flavor of the the added nutrients!
Scooter enjoys his treats and he is doing good on that nutritional supplement too. He runs and plays but he stops quicker than he use to but he is older. He does love to take walks. He is inside dog but loves going out.
Toby turns 11 next month and, in the last several months, had become inactive and was spending a lot of his time sleeping. He's been on the Nutra Thrive for about a month and we have noticed a huge difference! He is now playing with his toys and trying to engage us, and anybody visiting us, to play with him. Much less time napping! He is also licking his paws and scratching less.
He goes back to the bowl to lick any remnants of the powder and food.
He is still itching but it has become less. It's been about a month. He loves it but I don't know if there is a big difference.
I am wondering if I should buy again because it is quite expensive.
I have 2 small Chihuahua dogs. They are only a year and a half years old but we purchased Ultimate Pet Nutrition to help ensure they will not have joint problems as they get older. Since they are young we have not seen a huge difference in them but we have seen a few small differences. I put the powder directly on their dry food and they love it! It did take our baby girl a few days to get used to it but now she loves it too! We have noticed our boy dog slim down a little since we have been using it. He had to go straight from puppy food to light adult food because he was getting to "fluffy". We want to keep our babies acting and feeling young as long as possible! I am hopihg this will be a big help in doing that!
My 11 year old lab is very active but has severe arthritis. I was hoping to give him some relief and improve his overall health. I have to give him pain pills after a day of hiking with me. I only purchased one container and have been giving it to him now for two weeks. He is still limping but definitely has more of a pep in his step. He is more engaging with the family and younger pup at the house. He is a lab so eating it has been no problem and the young springer enjoys cleaning his and the labs dish after eating. I have not been giving it to the springer because I only purchased one bottle and the lab is the one with all the symptoms. I am happy with the product but not overly thrilled. It has given my lab gas, which in 11 years I never noticed my lab having. I will be getting more and giving it a longer trial and see what improvements we see in my active senior lab.
I gave the product a 4 star rating and said it was good because at first I was having a hard time getting my little pup to eat it. It seemed he didn't like it for some reason. I tried as suggested by wetting the dry food but because he didn't eat it it hardened and stuck to his bowl. Being frustrated I decided to try mixing it with a small amount of canned food. At first he didn't seem to like that either but I kept trying but mixing it with a little water added to the canned food. I finally got it right and now he eats it with out fuss. I haven't a photo or proof of purchase to add.
Elsie loves these as much as the chicken livers. We give her one to reward her when she uses her scratching post. I think the heart pieces are a little smaller. I prefer the ones that are about 1/2" square.
My almost 10 year old Golden retriever absolutely loves the addition of the NutraThrive moistened with water- she begs to lick the spoon used to stir! After abut 1 month I have seen a great improvement in her chronic skin issues- itching, severe redness between her toes, bad belly rash. She has allergies to grass and sensitivity to food items such as corn products. I had previously tried an anti-allergy injectable, which worked the first couple times. However, it became less effective and lasted shorter times- and was quite expensive. So skin-wise she is much happier! So far I have not seen too much of an effect or improvement on her joint issues- but it is still adays!
We ordered 3 tubs of Nutra-Thrive for our 12 year old mixed blood hound mix to help with her bad breath. We brush her teeth daily but she still has this fishy smell in her mouth. She just started on her 2nd tub but the smell is still there although it's a bit less strong than before. Otherwise, she's healthy - great silky coat and energetic. If there's no further improvement, we will be discontinuing the product.
Answer: Yes, mix it in wet food... you can also sprinkle it onto dry food if you don't feed out wet food.
Answer: I changed my older dog's diet to home cooked chicken and vegetables, and balanced the diet with Nutra Thrive. Within two weeks my dog was much improved, and within three weeks she was no longer limping, but running and jumping.
Answer: I have heard of Dr. Richter and was very impressed with his work. My dogs aren't sick but I thought it would be good to start them on something that would keep them healthy. I also like the fact that, what you buy is backed by 100% money back guarantee!
