I ordered some Washington Nationals baseball tickets and they were not shipped to me as advertised in time for the game. I contacted Uberseat 2 days before the event and they were able to get the tickets converted to e-tickets and sent to me via email. Their vendor was the problem but they were very good with their commnunication and follow up once they were aware of the problem. Not a perfect experience but a successful one.
These guys had six tickets listed for sale, so I bought one then received an email 14 hours before the event that my ticket was "canceled" - their customer service is awful, when I called they basically just said the order couldn't be filled, whatever that means, and that I was out of luck. This is after spending the money and time to fly to the event. When I checked the site again, the same six tickets were still listed, this time with a cheaper price! Wtf? So I tried to buy it again and same thing, order canceled and still two tickets listed for sale.
Buying something from these clowns means nothing, they can withdraw your order without explanation at any time. Go with somebody reputable and don't deal with UberSeat fraud service.
Purchased tickets to an NBA game only to have them come with someone else's name on them as well as an incorrect date of purchase.
My credit card company's fraud bureau is investigating as well as processing a claim against them.
Notifying the BBB as well.
Got pistons tix tuesday for a Wed night game. It did take til the following business day (gameday) to get my e tickets and my final confirmation. I was nervous bc the order was pending overnight. However promptly at 10 am i recieved my e tickets. Great seats for less than face value. I will use them again
I attempted to purchase tickets through SeatGeek. Takes a day to find out if your purchase goes through. Then they cancel the purchase. They also charge and refunded my credit card more times then they should have prompting a problem with my credit card. Now I have to deal with that. Thank Uberseats! Useless... I hate you.
We purchased etickets to the Braves game on July 4th (for the game on July 5th). We got a great deal for 8 tickets at $27 each in Section 123, Row 7 (really 4th row). These were unbelievably good seats on the first base side in mid-right field. We also got access to the 755 club and discounted food (33%) and merchandise (10%) that came with the tickets. This saved us a bunch of money. Bought the tickets and had them printed 10 minutes later. Easy, great deal, great transaction. Couldn't be happier!
I was a bit worried because I ordered the seats at 10pm the night before the event, and some online reviews had me scared that I wouldn't get my tickets in time.
I called Uber customer service at noon to let them know I hadn't received the tickets. They said they would look into it immediately. Within 15 minutes the e-tickets were e-mailed to me.
This site is beyond garbage. Your purchase tickets, then they send an email telling you your purchase is canceled. Money is never returned to your account in some cases. Do not use this site. Headache!
I bought NBA tickets for my brothers bachelor party. They sent a card (not really tickets) to my house labeled with the name of a shopping mall. There was no invoice, no explanation that this "card" was the equivalent of my tickets, and no remorse once we couldn't go to the game due to the card being unusable. They said there's confirmation I received the package, so nothing is refundable. My brother's bachelor party was ruined, we spent unnecessary hours at the QArena trying to get ahold of someone at the company, and in the end lost our money.
The prices may seem cheap, but it's worth going with a reputable company that will communicate with you but charge you a little more.
I ordered tickets to an event, but uberseat never delivered the tickets electronically like they agreed on. I missed my event and the sporting event wouldn't let me in. They refuse to credit me my money back
Horrible experience. Theor process is they hardly update their ticket lists online, their software is garbage. They hold your funds before they know if the tickets you want are even available. Then your money is held for 1-3 business days if the don't have the tickets. Calling the 800 support number is a joke. They can't tell you even how often the lists are updated, and tell you to call your bank to get your money, maybe. So you are basically playing Russian roulette with your money by trying to buy tickets on their site. Save the headache and go to Stubhub where they don't charge your card until tickets are verified, and they are a muchild more reputable company.
Good Luck
Ordered 3 tickets for a baseball game for my boyfriend and his father for his birthday, they took my money right away and sent me 2 tickets! The other ticket is nowhere to be found, customer service has not responded in 4 days. Called the State Police and was told I can make a report but they won't persue it. DO NOT USE THIS SITE! I've emailed and called and left numerous messages to no avail!
I ouchased tickets from them by clicking on a map. When I received the tickets, they were not on the floor of the arena as on the map. They were up in the rafters in a similarity numbered section. They refused to take responsibility not fix the problem. They are crooks... buyer beware!
This site is HORRIBLE.
Don't waste your time.
Bought tickets to Marc Anthony at Prudential Center in Newark.
Total view was obstructed.
Center stage unable to see, BOTH screens blocked as well!
Sent an EMail, while I was still at the venue last night, basically they said they can't do anything about it.
I have no idea why I chose to use this site, I always get tickets from STUBHUB with no issue. STUBHUB DOES post and notify you if there is an obstruction of view, so you don't need look at speakers and a stand of spot lights.
I would give this company a ZERO if possible. Too bad it's not an option.
Hi Roni, thanks for your email. UberSeat does not have maps on our website, so we require all of our brokers to list all obstructions that the venue considers obstructions on the notes of the tickets of the checkout page. If the venue doesn't consider the seats having an obstructed view, then we aren't able to list that.
We're sorry you're disappointed in the seats you purchased, but everyone's opinion of a "good seat" is different and UberSeat did everything we were supposed to do in disclosing any information that might have affected the value of the seats of a customer's experience. However, as the venue itself does not consider these seats as having an obstruction, UberSeat cannot either.
What we recommend doing is sending the venue pictures of the obstruction you saw and expressing your dissatisfaction with how the Prudential Center did not disclose that information on their tickets. We get our tickets directly from the venue, so all obstructions are listed on the tickets that were printed by them.
Additionally, it would not matter if you bought them from UberSeat or StubHub, as sellers on StubHub are required to disclose obstructions as well and since the notes do not have any obstructions listed on them, you would have been just as disappointed when you arrived at the venue. We cannot state enough that this is a venue error and UberSeat nor the broker who sold you these tickets is at fault.
Instead of delivering e-tickets shortly after my order was placed for the Cubs NLDS Game 3, Uberseat went through several diffferent sets of explanations on why they didn't email tickets to me (it's the weekend, the game time has not been set, it takes a long time for their brokers to sort through all the tickets they sell, etc.).
They emailed me tickets a mere five hours before game time, by which time I had already purchased another set, which I had to sell for a loss.
I would never use this site again for a game or event that you actually want to go to.
EDIT: I read UberSeat's response. Don't listen to them - this is a buyer beware type of service that is likely to leave you in the lurch.
Hi Ritesh, we have pretty strict rules on ticket delivery, so we're really sorry that your tickets didn't get delivered until so close to the event. Depending on the timeframe in which an order is placed, most tickets must be delivered by the day before the game at the latest. That being said, orders that are placed within a few days of the event have slightly different requirements for delivery where they may be delivered closer to the event. Either way, we're so sorry that this caused you to have a bad experience. In this particular case, as you had indicated, it looks like this order was placed over the weekend, so the broker who listed those tickets delivered them on the first business day after the order was placed, which happened to be the day of the game. We do have very strict policies in place to ensure that you get the tickets you ordered, including significant penalties on brokers who don't deliver tickets in time, so we're sorry that you felt like you had to buy other tickets. It sounds like you were able to speak to some of our representatives here, but in the future, if you ever have questions or problems, we're happy to help via phone (888-501-3955) or email (help@uberseat.com). -The UberSeat Team
This site is a scam. It states "NO FEES", yet it charged 75 dollars a ticket for a 25 dollar face value ticket. I didn't realize the tickets were not on sale yet, and I purchased the tickets for $77 assuming it was close to face. Uber purchased the tickets from the vendor on the day they went on sale. The tickets are still not sold out, but Uber thinks it is acceptable to make a 200% profit for doing nothing. DO NOT USE UBER
Hi Nicole. The price printed on the tickets is the original box office venue price when the tickets originally went on sale. Prices on UberSeat are sold at market value and fluctuate on a daily basis.
UberSeat is a secondary market for tickets, similar to StubHub, Vivid Seats, Crowd Seats, and many other ticketing companies. We do not charge any fees for our tickets, so the price that you saw on our website was the price you paid. You agreed to pay for the ticket at $75/ticket, and we did not tack on any additional fees on top of that price. We hope that makes sense.
I bought some Cavs playoff tickets for my sons graduation party 2 days before the game. It was s huge expense and never purchasing tickets on line I was concerned. After I got into mid day the next day without any communication I became concerned and did a search of the website and with many bad reviews I was very concerned. I call Uber and while getting a typical computer response I called the number they referenced in the call for immediate action. I got through quickly and the support person was courteous and helpful and resolved everything. The transaction went through flash seat and it was well supported at the stadium and everything was smooth and efficient. We had a great time and Lebron and the Cavs won!
DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR! Terrible experience. They immediately hold your funds, do not have the tickets they promise, deny your "order" and then tie up you money for days. Their customer service is ridiculous.
Hi Trae. When you place an order on UberSeat, you agree to our terms and conditions which state that tickets are subject to availability. That's because the sale of tickets is very aggressive, especially for last minute events. However, we require all of our sellers to respond and confirm an order within 24 hours, and it looks like the seller no longer had the tickets available so your order was cancelled. You were notified within 24 hours of you placing the order that the tickets were not available, allowing you plenty of time to still seek tickets for your event. The authorization hold on your card cleared within one business day, so you have nothing to worry about--UberSeat never charged you for the tickets that were unfortunately no longer available due to the event being in such high demand.
I went to purchase UK/FL Gators Football tickets. There was no seating chart available. I wanted to sit near the 50 yard line and paid extra per ticket to buy seats I believed where in the middle. When I received my tickets they were near the end zone. I had originally asked to exchange them (seeing at there was no seating chart!) or to be refunded the price difference. Uberseat said no refunds, no exchanges, and furthermore it wasn't "THEIR DUTY" to provide a seating chart! Ridiculous. I have filed a Better Business Bureau complaint. DECEITFUL COMPANY!
This site is a scam. I paid 500 dollars for tickets to a concert in LA and never got the tickets. They claim to have sent them via FedEx and apparently FedEx just dropped them in front of the door for everyone to take. That is ridiculous. Customer service was of no help. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.
Update February 11th 2015: A miracle! Uberseat has replied to my review - it only took them four months after I posted it. Think that pretty much says everything about their customer service as I experienced it.
The point is this: If Uberseat indeed DID send my tickets with FedEx, then it is COMPLETELY irresponsible for them to ship them with the option of just dropping them at the front door. It is like dropping cash on the street - no serious vendor would operate like that. So I stick with my previous conclusion: There never were any tickets and this site is a scam. BEWARE!
Hi Soeren, thanks for your email. You purchased tickets and a tracking number was sent to you as soon as the tickets shipped. If you're dissatisfied with how FedEx delivered the tickets, you'll need to reach out to FedEx and file a claim, as that is outside of UberSeat's jurisdiction. Hope that helps!
Answer: Hi Whitney, MLB tickets sometimes get issued and generated before the official schedule has been set in stone. It's always best to go by the official team schedule online- but if you shoot us an e-mail at help@uberseat.com, we can always verify for you. Thanks! -The UberSeat Team
UberSeat has a rating of 2.3 stars from 162 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with UberSeat most frequently mention customer service, credit card and purchase tickets. UberSeat ranks 128th among Tickets sites.
We're sorry for the inconvenience but we'd love to explain what happened here. When an order is placed with UberSeat, a pending authorization hold is placed on the card in order to verify that funds are available. Listings are updated very quickly throughout the day. While it is extremely rare, sometimes multiple orders are placed within minutes (or even seconds) of each other, so the first order placed is the one that must be filled. When this happens, the second order is rejected so we can ensure that the tickets provided are valid. In these cases, UberSeat immediately voids the pending authorization hold and contacts the card issuer to notify them that the payment won't be processed. Unfortunately, UberSeat can't force the card issuer to release the funds immediately. Some banking institutions refuse to release the pending authorization hold for several days. In these cases, UberSeat is willing to speak with the bank to provide whatever information they need to release the authorization hold, but ultimately that decision is up to the bank as they are the institution that is in possession of the funds. We try everything possible on our end to expedite the release of funds in these situations and we are always willing to help and explain. UberSeat can be contacted via email (help@uberseat.com) or on the phone (1-888-501-3955).
