Total Scam

In the first couple of months of using Uber I've noticed that they continue to double dip on fares like I'm quoted $7,86 and then comes $10.25 for the same ride same drop off.

As there is no way to make contact with Uber via phone sending emails never gets responded to

I wouldn't trust Uber or Venmo ever again as this is no way to resolve issues with either company

I wish I could give them zero stars. They are PRICE GOUGERS. Two days before hurricane Ian arrived, I needed a ride from TPA. The same ride that cost $55 a week before cost me $153. On top of that, I had to wait 30 minutes for a ride that I had pre-reserved. Then to top it off the driver couldn't speak English and took me 20 minutes out of the way. Never again!

Security Issue

Worst app ever

I hv booked rides on uber for 6 times. It automatically gets cancelled., I purchased a shuttle pass also but the shuttle gets automatically cancelled. I hv not received the refund of my pass and i did not receive any kind of help from customer support

So because I have had issues with uber eats in the past, they denied my refund for an order that took 2 hours to arrive and when it did, the boxes were melted together, the fried pickles were out od the box and at the bottom of the bag, the lids on some of the items were melted and leaked and poured out od the containers. The rep said that according to their policy they could not refund me due to numerous complaints. Well, if my food would arrive as it should there wouldn't be complaints. I told them to provide where the policy is located and the rep would not provide. She just kept sending me the same message over and over to every response I had. I asked to deal with a supervisor and they ended the conversation. I'm sure it was because it was an order over $120. They didn't want to lose that money. But as I mentioned it took 2 hours to get our food if not longer. I am so annoyed with uber eats and their drivers ruining my food and now they can't reimburse me. This leaves no resolve for issues that arise as a result of incompetence of some of their drivers. They could completely destroy my food now and I couldn't get refunded. That's unacceptable. I am not only putting up reviews in all possible places, I am taking it to my bank. I have pictures of everything along with screenshots of my conversations. They won't get away with this "policy" atleast not with me. I haven't had any quality or delivery issues with doordash. Isn't that funny.

I can't normally be bothered writing reviews whinning about the world like every 'it's my right, I deserve and I should be given Millennial $#*! head...
However Uber are quite possibly the worst cab service on the planet. Ordered a cab 2 hours ago and bumped god knows how many times, Where's the management and quality control, any other business would fold with this kind of incompetent application of business and 'who gives a $#*!' attitude. Where's the competition, someone one out there will kill it against these clowns!

BEWARE. I ubered a friend for 10 dollars. In the next few days I got 8 fraudulent charges equaling over 280 dollars (7 on the same day!) and my bank only caught one for $80.26 that is not listed because they denied it. They store your card info so now I have to get a new debit card and attach all my recurring automatic deposits to the new card while waiting for the fraud department to decide what to do and reimburse me. What a pain! They are so shady. I will never use them again. Not cool.

Uber cancelled three rides in two days

Both my husband and I could not schedule and had rides cancelled last week. Luckily, I was able to drive my husband to the airport. However, my son's Uber rides to school and pickup for two days were cancelled. I tried to resolve this through Uber's chat. Over an hour, two reps said it was fixed. It wasn't. My airport ride said Uber drivers were having trouble.

UBER support don't respect driver hard work. I've completed 3810 ride with driver 3000+ five star and thousands of complements from rider. I've bad experiences on my account due to Uber bad managements. Some riders are drunker, some riders are not good knowledge about address setup, rain, fog, snow, midnight late night, bad weather rider pickup and drop it's not easy!. More then 50% rider charge goes to UBER pocket! What driver facing issue, car depression, Gas, time and labor, per/hour in average $3.00 if a driver calculate his compensations. Only one thing no job if uber app account work then some dollar income for survive family. No one can do uber job long time even a Tax cab work longtime. Uber account now and then hold on or suspended or account cancel if one of rider give low rating. If rating is important then what to do the rider do a lots of wrong activity. Who take care? Uber or driver? Driver most of cases silent or not express as he need some income. Some of administrations from UBER not appropriate. Example: 7X7 Experience certificate nothing work for a driver, nothing work for rider. Uber management please note it's wastage of money from Driver hard work earning money. Uber not pay anything for driver compensate!

Never showed up

If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered an uber the day before to make sure my daughter and I had a for sure ride in the morning. We needed to be at children's hospital for an infusion. As we were outside waiting for our ride they never showed up. I had to frantically find a ride from friends to get there in time. Then 4 hours later I recieved a notice from uber that the driver canceled our ride! I will never use uber again.

Customer support is trash. Tier one reps that dont know anything and try to fix problems like a one size fits all. So frustrsting. I submitted docs and proved I am eligible to drive and its been 2 weeks and no resolution. How many times do they need to "escalate"? Makes me not even want to drive for them at all

I opened Uber about a month ago and it asked for 2 step authentication, which I didn't set up. I couldn't open Uber because of it. I emailed Uber, tried calling their custom support deleted and reinstalled and got nowhere. I since deleted Uber and now use LYFT. I see online this has happened to many and no one has tried to help. I never seen anything like customer service doesn't exist at Uber. I've deleted the app

Stolen referral bonus

They refuse to pay a referral bonus after completion. 50 supervisors later and no end in site. They stole $700.00. I uploaded the emails and all proof and still no dice. Direct contradiction to the policy they wrote!

If yall want us to pick up small orders that is umder $10 dollars yall need to chage the tip pay instead of letting customer pay 50 cent to 3 dollars they need to pay 5 dollars if they want there order pick up

Exited the car. Driver immediately drove away. Realized we left a jacket in the car. Immediately tried contacting the driver. Uber tried contacting. Ignored both attempts. User beware... don't leave a personal item or the driver will ignore all attempts to get back and resale online. I regret using Uber and never will again after this experience. Ruined my birthday!

Uber hires criminals as drivers

My phone was stolen by an Uber driver. Uber could care less. Filed theft report with the police. In doing my own investigation into the driver I discovered he has an extensive criminal history. Uber obviously doesn't do a criminal background check on their drivers before hiring them.

Using the App can be confusing to begin with. Drivers will arrive after you have already gotten your confirmed ride then cancel it and charge you double the amount you original ride cost despite your not confirming the order. Uber has extremely poor customer service. When you get the ride you're supposed to have it is economical and good, but buyer beware of Con, Scams, and rip offs by unscrupulous drivers.
