YouTube TV after charging me for another 30 days of service locked my access. Every channel says "Content Not Available". When I called them they said they suspended my account for suspicious activity. I pay for unlimited TVs in my home but none can receive TV, not on my phone or computer either since they have locked my account. They said they would have to investigate the issue and I will be without the service I am paying for for 2 weeks! Last I checked it is unlawful to charge for an unreceived service! If this is the way their company operates I dont believe anyone would want to do business with them. I know they can easily push a button and my TV would work again, but they refuse to.
On Dec 20,2024, I accepted an offer for a free trial on you tube tv to evaluate to decide whether or not to join the service and gave them my card information and they charged it $1.17. Three days later, while the free trial was ongoing, they charged my card $75.24, wrongly claiming that I signed to start the service. I cancelled as soon as I found out that they charged my card without my consent. They summarily rejected my online application for a refund and there was no other way to reach them by phone or otherwise to explain my case. They stole my money and my advise to whoever ask me is not to get near You Tube TV.
Nothing works well with Record & Playback; when successfully recording, when playing back can not skip commercials (pls note, they are recordings and not VideosOnDemand). The tech support in Phillippines is an ABSOLUTE joke as they have ZERO training and all 20+ agents I have talked to in the last 13 months are just incompetent. Also, these people use a disgusting play: when they can not answer your question(s) they just go SILENT (in hopes that you hang up the phone) - just absolutely unprofessional and rude. There are so many issues with this service than I can write a book; from buffering, to snowy and/or freezing picture (I have good coverage on my home with 500/500 fiber-optic speed). We noticed that if we start recording a show with many seasons/episodes, the system does not display the newly recorded shows but takes us to the VideoOnDemand library so that we are not allowed to skip commercials. But then, even if it is a pure recording there are almost always commercials that you can not skip. JUST A CRIMINAL company! Do yourself a favor and stay away from them... I know there are no 'angel' companies out there anymore but this company is BRUTAL... just draw-quick cowboy-style KILLERS! Last, I feel quite embarrassed finding out how deceiving this company is as 10+ yrs ago I had 'embraced' very favorable whatever was run by Google. Unfortunately, throughout the years I have discovered this company being a wolf dressed in a sheep's hide. They will take you for a ride, 100%.
You're forced to sit through a ton of ads. Sometimes even double up. They are not unskippable either. Then the quality is sub par. They say 1080p but looks more like low quality 720p if even that. Then the line up itself is nothing special and severely lacking.
The only good thing I can say about it is they have really old shows i enjoy but the cons and price over power that one little good thing.

Channel lineup is lacking compared to hulu for same price. Interface to use appears to be implemented by monkeys or some other primate, not made for human use! The resolution is like watching an old rabbit eats black and white box. Get hulu, or fubo. Steer clear of this garbage you tube app!

40 second long ad breaks, watching a video with over 500k views is basically impossible without clicking out and clicking back in to avoid the common 30+ second ads. I use adblock on my pc and you should too, look up uBlock origin folks.
There is no option to pay bill. I get the reoccurring payment process, but I do keep my cards locked due to a identity theft. Youtubetv will charge your card early in the morning hours. I unlock my cards at 8 am every morning when I know I have a payment due. Why do they charge your card at 3,4 and 5 am in the morning when most people are not awake. Youtubetv or any businesses should not be allowed to charge your card at that hour. Anyway, I went to pay the bill so it would not get disconnected but there is no option to pay. All it says is update payment method. That's is not the problem. I just wanted to pay the damn bill. I had a RUDE representative tell me that I only need to update my payment method and that's it. Ask I try to tell him that is not the problem I just want to pay the bill. I asked to speak to his supervisor, he tells me I didn't need to talk to him. I asked why not, what are you hiding? He told me that he doesn't have to tell me. I told him switch me to the customer survey he then hung up on me. At the beginning of the call I was told I could take the survey on customer service, but never got the chance since he hung up. This company is hiding something and is rude. The representative is either a new person or just don't like his job! Youtubetv use to be a good service bit it seems like they are going down hill. It may be cheaper service, but if the customer service is bad then the service is bad.
They advertise 21 day free trial. After I went and signed up I was told it was only 5. I wouldn't have signed up for only 5 days if I new this. With working all the time. Not enough time to check it out thoroughly.
Don't do it don't subscribe to YouTube I did the free trial decided it wasn't for me canceled my subscription and they continued to charge me. You can't get anybody on the phone at YouTube. Nor is there an email address. The craziest thing is I signed onto my Google account and requested to chat with somebody and then they transferred me to another website where they wanted me to put my credit card in again I ended up having to cancel my credit card in order to guarantee that they stopped charging me.
I knew I would be late watching the Super Bowl. So I logged on slightly more than one hour before it started and set the recording. In between that time and the actual start time, YouTube TV system realized I had an updated debit card number. It did not record it. I missed it. Firing this service for life
You paid 70 + dollars a month to watch 12 minutes of commercials every half an hour! Not worth it. There are way better stream services out there

We got YouTube tv because we were forced to in order to keep the NFL ticket. We paid extra money for the NFL ticket. Now we are constantly missing games because we would have to pay for other services to get games. THE ENTIRE POINT OF HAVING NFL TICKEY IS THAT WE GET EVERY GAME. Beyond disgusted.
Right after getting this service a worker who sounded eastern stole my debit card info when I called in for help and they made 2 purchases I was told a supervisor would call me to make it right. Nobody ever called, and I had to have my bank to do a fraud inquiry to get my money back. This software shuts down at least 2 or 3 times per day and we have to reset our router to reconnect to service. You need to improve this if you expect to me to stay a customer very long

I got YouTube TV for the NFL season and I pay my bill on time. Every two weeks they are trying to take money out my account stated that my bill needs to be paid. I just canceled my subscription with YouTube. Not good provider.
I called customer service to try and avoid getting my service paused. I knew my payment was going to be late, and I was informed that I had until the next day. I got home from work that evening, then was watching my favorite show, which I had recorded and guess what? They shut me off right in the middle of the show! I was so upset because I had been lied to by the customer service person. I will not go back to that service again!
It's complete garbage. I was invited to join somebody's family plan and the links that they sent me were broken and did not work.
