Current TV ad shows joy of not doing taxes. A gay wedding is not appropriate. The software is sufficient.
So so sneaky, my Google search took me to Turbo Live, I didn't realize it until we were completed and I was stuck. So dishonest, terrible company.
Worst thing, not surprised they are still in business. Govt kickbacks. They lie and not accurate with returns
I thought they have already took out their fees but took more fees out when I got my return. I am not an happy customer.
Use it for my taxes or taxcut depending on price or needs and have been 100% satisfied every time.
Fast and Quick replies and never a problem
Have been using them for years. Have not had any issues and continue to use them. You may have to pay for some services, but it is okay.
If I could give a zero I would have! Outrageous fees! Terrible and costly guide. Tried to call fir customer support and received a bogess response!
NEVER and I repeat NEVER keep money on this account! To start I have a honeymoon in less than two weeks, and was calling to enable international purchases. However they informed me they only work in the USA and you can only withdraw up to $3000 in 30 days. So there would be no way for me to withdraw $5000. Or to transfer that amount. However the customer service representative that I was speaking to (when calling the number on the back of my card) told me they cannot help me however their supervisor could and he will contact me. As we are on the line another 800 number called me and said that they were a supervisor for the turbo debit card and their representative let them know what was going on and it's okay to disconnect the other line. He then told me he could help me get all of my money out of my account. He gave me ALL of my account info INCLUDING my last 4 of ss number, address, DOB, transaction history and even how old my account was. He said he can allow me to withdraw half today and half tomorrow he just needs me to verify the verification code sent to my phone number connected to the account. I gave him the code texted to me and two minutes later the call dropped. I instantly called the number back and it was no longer in service. I tried to log into my account online which took some time since they changed my password. Once I got in I noticed a $2000 wire transaction to a random email. I called the number on my card about 10 more times and constantly was hung up on. Finally I got a hold of a dispute supervisor who did help me, disputed the issue, and unfortunately closed my account and would not let me withdraw the $3000 Remaining in my account. They will send me a check in 2 to 3 weeks. And that is how my honeymoon got ruined and I got scammed. Do not use this company as their OWN EMPLOYEES are assisting the scammers the representative led me directly into this trap and provided all information. I hope something gets done about this issue. It is truly unfortunate when you can't trust calling the number on your card for help.
Marketing shows 5 efile and 1 state download. Not free as it has been in last 15 plus years, Bait/ switch
They changed my account numbers and I never received my deposit, I called and they said I would get my refund but now by a check in the mail NEVER CAME... THEY ARE CRIMINALS...
It's a mess and very user Unfriendly. Was fine for 10 years or so. Suggest going
Elsewhere. Sorry TurboTax but you blew it this year!
Partner capital information does not show on 1065 K-1. Inputs made in the form section do not show in the final printing of the partners 1065 K-1.
They charge extra money for certain features after you are almost done with your forms and lobby the government to keep tax filing complicated.
I've used this product since 1998.
The last 2 years it's been awful. I would never buy it again.
Doesn't work.
Not very truthful about the full cost of their services. I've used this service in the past and this is the only year I've had MANY problems.
They will ripp you off! I got audit because they did my taxes incorrect. I paid them $152.00 and now they don't want to refund my money back!
Where to begin? I was a VERY, very loyal customer of TT for years. Loved how easy it was to use, etc. Then, when our needs diminished (retired, no longer business owners) we no longer needed their all-singing, all-dancing package. So, last year, I didn't update the credit card info and sent a message to say that we no longer wanted the service. What did they do? They charged AN EXPIRED CREDIT CARD. It went through. I used TT since I had paid for it (too much involved to try to do a chargeback, etc). This year, I went to their site and made sure they didn't have my current cc info. I'm still getting e-mails telling me that my card is no longer current and that it needs to be updated. I HAVE WRITTEN, nothing. I called today and got Paresh, clearly from India, whom was probably a nice guy but was impossible to understand. Worse, he wanted more info than was necessary to do a simple cancellation. He wanted the refund amount from last year (who remembers? It's in my files in another area that I couldn't access while on the phone.) Quite frankly, I got frustrated and ugly because all I wanted to do was cancel the service and it was one step away from impossible. There are no e-mail customer service addresses. They lure you in, but you cannot cancel without a special dispensation from God. If they try to charge my card, I will be filing several fraud charges on them because I've called, written, removed info in my account, etc, and still get e-mails telling me that they are about to send me the product. There is something frightening about a company that goes out of its way to make it nearly impossible to extricate yourself from them. I'm not saying this is deliberately fraudulent on their part, but...
I've used Turbo Tax for years. It was always my "go to" tax software. Back in 2011, out of curiosity, I tried a competitor and paid for a personal consult. The outcome was unexpected. Either the guy I worked with didn't have much experience or Turbo Tax just did a great job of educating me. Since then I never felt the need to switch, until today.
The options have changed. For example, I was not able to download a pdf of all past years I've worked with Turbo Tax. Only a few years (I think it's the last 3) are pdf. The remainder were a ". Tax" extension. I believe that means you'll need specialized software to read it. The most frustrating change to me was with regard to the final review: 1) There's no longer the option to look at all tax forms applicable to your situation and make edits directly onto the forms. This is important because during the review of the forms you may have to scroll back to see where you are in the overall process. Sometimes the situation is readily apparent and simple to answer, sometimes not. 2) In this latest version of Turbo Tax, the review asks questions it didn't ask in the interview process. That wouldn't be so bad except 3) when you answer the questions, they don't always align with the answer. For example, there were two checkboxes that supposedly reflected something common with a group from my previous responses during the interview. One of the boxes was obviously misaligned to the wrong response. Although incorrect, the system forced me to continue to choose the wrong answer or it would not go forward. 4) The other issue was that, if you respond incorrectly during the review process, you cannot go back and fix it. If it's one of the questions not asked during the interview process, then there's no workaround for you to correct it. This can greatly and instantly increase the amount you pay in taxes and reduce the amount of your refund. It definitely did for me.
Answer: Very difficult to get, had to call numerous times to get a response and then there was no, let me help you with that. They were uncaring about my situation, I had to pursue questioning what they can do and would end up forwarding me to departments that did not respond.
Answer: They also charged me when they shouldn't have. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They are crooks.
Answer: Yea. You can download your DOCS and bring them in. In print them out and bring them in. Turbotax saves your completed documents each year.
