I was hesitant to ship with such a do it your self kind of company. I had already had a very bad experience with a major "white glove" moving company who both destroyed and lost several expensive items. I figured it couldn't be worse than that moving ordeal. Moving with TS saved a Huge amount of money. But the very best part is that everything arrived in perfect condition. I labeled my boxes with my name, address, phone number, contents, weight, and box number. When everything arrived, I simply checked it off my list, brought some things in the house, and put some aside for temporary storage. I would recommend this company to anyone. I moved out of an apartment with an elevator, so I needed a dolly to get the stuff downstairs. I needed to custom make some boxes, but I could have ordered them on line. Really great experience. My salesperson was very helpful with tips and sources. I can't say good enough things about this move and this company. FYI, I'm a 75 year old woman. And, yes, I hired someone to use the dolly and help load...but hey, this was cake.

Please forgive my delay in responding, I've been exceptionally busy with medical appointments! The "overall" service with Transit Systems was FANTASTIC! The Pastor, children and adults of Haiti - Good Samaritan Foundation - were also very, very, very pleased with your service because they were able to get their toys, clothing and other gifts in Haiti for the Christmas Holidays!

I believe the company is dishonest. I was given a quote which was based on a negotiation. I carried all of my 7 boxed down the steps for the pick up driver, who BTW, was a very nice hard working man, and I tipped him well. I later received a call to add money to my shipment of 7 boxes, or they would hold hostage and charge me storage fees. Additionally, the day of promised delivery (which I was renting a storage area to receive it while at work), was nearly 2 weeks late. Finally, I got a call about the phone number of the facility I listed, and had to google for the woman the phone number. Then she indicated that they needed a fork lift to take the boxes off, because they had bundled them together. I told her I shipped my boxes and labeled them separately, and their bundling onto a crate would mean they would have to put them back to individual boxes. IN THE END I PAID $135 DOLLARS PER MEDIUM, SMALL, AND LARGE BOXES...and they were very late. Don't believe their quotes or delivery times. Use Greyhound.
