Good site for homeowners to list properties with no additional fees to renters or owners. Some issues with uploading pictures, but overall great site! I've had several inquiries and they offer a free trial period for listing.
Tripadvisor is exactly a good travel advisor. To plan our travel destinations and other tour formalities can done with this service. They are having several good destination list and accommodation help information.
Excellent site, I never go anywhere without researching the location on Tripadvisor. It really exposes the true state of the travel market and has saved me from many a falsely advertised and potentially poor experience. Some in the travel Trade really need to clean up their act or go out of business.
I manage a property with 10 units and I list my property on many holiday rentals websites. I decided to try this year the Trip Advisor for business and I paid 450 usd, not small money.
Besides the possibility to manage the reviews, which is of course very good for the online reputation of a property, I cannot see much convenience in terms of return of investment. Yes, I got some requests from TA, but I was expecting a bit more consistent increase of revenue and requests. Anyway, I think it's a must have tool for property owners and managers, a bit expensive but still OK. Maybe I need practice more and optimize the use of this tool. Any suggestions?
I found this to be a great place to stay on the two recent occasions I've been in Hanoi. Both Ms Ann and Lily are as friendly nd helpful as you could wish for and the room rate was really competitive and includes breakfast. The hotel is right in the middle of the 'action' with heaps of eateries etc jostling for space in the streets around.
We travel to many country's using differing modes of transport, before booking anything I always look on this site to see the opinions of others regarding accommodation and tours, things to do etc. The information on here is invaluable.

I have used this site for about 7 years. It is a vast resource of information and is a "must read" before booking hotels unknown to you. But I feel it has deteriorated in the last couple of years as it has become a place where many reviewers just indulge their gripes - many of them are petty. Too many reviewers have unrealistic expectations or absurd expectations of service. Tripadvisor also won't let you review the same place twice which is OK in theory but means you can't easily correct an earlier review for a later experience. You also have to watch their description of where the accommodation is - for example in NZ I have seen them list places up to 200 miles away from where they really are. Lastly, there are some great places to visit which are not on Tripadvisor at all and unless you use other sources you can miss them.
We were met on time by two river guides, Nate and Trevor, and immediately felt welcome with the invitation to a great whitewater trip. The drive was long but with Nate's expert driving, we followed the winding roads with one stop. Trevor knew many interesting details of the area and I was lucky to be able to hear them all as I sat towards the front off the van. The breakfast by the put-in was welcomed, while we watched the river rise and the boats were set up. The trip down the river was amazing and guaranteed to make you wet! Lunch was delicious and very thoughtful to dietary needs. Professional but always fun, Trevor worked to the very end with a smile. Nate took us safely home again (also smiling after driving over 200 miles), while we digested the unique experience we had together on a wild ride down the river!
TripAdvisor.com is a travel website that assists users in gathering travel information, posting reviews and opinions of travel-related content, and engaging in interactive travel forums. I've used TripAdvisor for years to find user reviews of hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions (such as museums, zoos, parks, nightlife, sports, etc.).
When booking a vacation and deciding on a Hotel and such I always check trip advisor to get the real skinny on the hotel in question by real travelers who post real pictures and tell what it's really like. Also, they give plenty of advice on cool things to do when you arrive. Ways to avoid falling prey to the local industry that seems to want to take advantage to those who may not be familiar with the area... A great place to go to get the heads up before you arrive.
This is the best site if you are planning a vacation. I found out so many things from other people who either live in the areas we are visiting or people who had already gone there. I like it because they are honest reviews.
While doing a cross country trip through the USA during which we never knew exactly where we would end up each night, we would use tripadvisor to scan for nearby hotels to get quotes and look for availability. The rates we got through our online bookings were always better than what we were offered just walking in... we checked.
I never plan any vacation without reading all of the related reviews on TA. I also complete my reviews after a vacation to help others find great places or warn of possible problems. I trust this site 100% and am happy to be a very active reviewer.
If you are headed to Door County, Wisconsin be sure to have lunch or dinner at the Shoreline restaurant in Gills Rock. Not only is the food wonderful, but if you are there at 8:30 pm, the sunsets are spectacular. Ordinarily they don't take reservations, but we were a party of 17 and they made an exception. The service was excellent and the presentation of the meal was fabulous. Barbara H.
I LOVE Trip Advisor.
If u want to know anything about almost any place in the world, Trip Advisor is the place to go.
You can go to individual country forums, type in a question & get an answer
You can also use their search option to see if the question has already been asked & read the reviews. As a solo female traveler, i find it an extremely useful tool.
Hotels, restaurants, tours... you're bound to find an answer.
Give it a go, you won't be disappointed
A frequent traveler's best guide. If you don't want your holiday getaway to be ruined, always visit this site for hotel reviews. Last thing you want in a vacation is finding yourself looking for other hotels because the hotel that you booked is a nightmare. I always include tripadvisor in planning my business trips and vacations.
At first, I love traveling. And I've been on this site for almost 4 yrs. Time flies, and the information keep updated. I am not that young man who was so desperate to see the world outside. But I still love travel. I found a lot of new places and new routes on this site, and they gave me much more exciting feelings. Travel is good for me, as well as this website.
Best travel resource I've found - We do a good bit of traveling and we have found trip advisor to be one of the greatest resources for finding everything from destinations, to hotels, to things to do in a given location. It's a site where the traveler gives their honest opinion about a given destination, complete with photos. Rather than looking at an ad agencies photography of a hotel, you see the real thing. It's honest, and we have found it to be VERY accurate.
Give it at try before you go on your next trip. You won't regret it!
A very useful app not only in travels but in a home place also. YOu can always find the reviews on the certain places, to make sure of not wasting time for bad and boring places. Also they added an option for offline access to their service which is a great feature.
The best online resource for vacation planning. Very informative, and it's great how you can get reviews from people who have visited destinations at different times of the year to get a sense of how the different seasons change the experience.
One gripe is that some of the older posts are out of date so the information can be wrong.
Answer: Ya, its very easy, you can find your hotel and write as you want. What's your experience with this hotel.
Answer: Its hard to find it. I think you must need to find the correct name of your company or place. Then you can easily find any review
Answer: I don't have a chance about this. I think real reviews with good details published immediately.
