Easier to book than other sites but it turns out it was NOT the best prices. I thought they dedicated themselves to actually do price research but no. I ended up paying triple the price for one day.

Similarly, when prices increase post-booking, we never request additional payment from our customers, as the initial booking price is final.

Scammed €267. Booked a room through Travel Up via trip advisor (view deals tab) received invoice from travel up saying room booked and payed for. Arrived at hotel for them to say they have not received booking and that they dont really recognise that provider. Even tho it was through the trip advisor app. Have photos of booking through the trip advisor system, you get brought to travel up site and confirm the dates, system glitched when putting through payment and they sent me an invoice with dates a year later. Now trying to say I can't get a refund a year in advanced… Was committed to staying as I had travelled up so had to pay an additional €405 to stay the night. Ended up paying €672 instead of €267…. Stay away! Be careful and avoid!

When I tried to pay the deposit it changed to taking out the total payment. So instead of the $124 they charged $1600. I watched it change in the small print after I hit to confirm.

I made the reservation through travel up for courtyard wetchase houston, but nowhere did it say that I had to pay a 20usd deposit until I got to the hotel and there they told me that due to hotel policies they do not accept my debit card and they did not accept cash either, so they did not give me a room and since the reservation had been made travel up did not want to cancel my reservation or return my money, I was not the only one at that time who was left without a room because the hotel does not accept cards that are not from physical banks.

We were unable to check into the hotel during the purchased stay. The hotel showed no reservation under my name and had no third party reservations for us either.
Additionally, any attempts to call TravelUp at any numbers listed on the websites or reservation documents were met with an automated response to "Try again later at our convenience" and then hung up on automatically. We ended up having to book another hotel because we had nowhere to stay and received no immediate support from TravelUp.
