Well on the initial purchase things seemed really positive. Then... and I repeat DO NOT PURCHASE THEIR INSURANCE OFFER! It is not as stated, REDEEMABLE FOR ANY REASON. Despite promises of 500$ refund for any plan change we may incur which happened twice ( in close enough succession that we werent able to see that this is a SCAM) No refund was sent and they put you on a frustrating circle jerk! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY OR ANY OF THEIR B. S. insurance companies. They are all smiles first go around then do nothing as they promised. What a shame. What a SHAM!
BEWARE! They pretend to be known airlines to scam people - they deceived me into believeing i was speaking to United and upcharged me for tickets [as for the the airline receipt these scammers pocketed $707] if i wouldn't have an United account I wouldn't notice the scam. AND they use their company card to pay the airline and then charge my card to their system for whatever upcharge they had me convinced it was the ticket price... so if you have any benefits of using your airline credit card, you can say goodbye to that. I disputed the upcharge with my credit card and Travelpod sent an email threatening me to mess up my credit, submit a small claim in court and sue me bla bla. YOU ROBBED MY HARD EARNED MONEY AND IM THE ONE TO BE TAKEN TO COURT? HOW DARE YOU? You should be ashamed of yourself!

My sister booked this for me. No problems with booking but American airlines in Dallas seems to have some permanent issues. I rescheduled the flight for tues. The 20th. Return is the same.

Don't ever book ticket through Travelopod. They claims that they'll provide you the best fare but actually if you compare with other companies they are charging much higher than the actual price. When you confront them they'll not agree but later they'll tell you that they will give you some kind of reward on your next booking so that you provide a good feedback for them. Here actually they'll start playing. Next booking when you'll ask them for refund initially they'll tell that they have already applied the refund on your ticket... I don't know without knowing the customer how they can apply the refund... might they are really intelligent! After that when you'll ask them the same question they'll agree to pay the refund amount and you'll book the ticket. After that they'll never refund your amount... every time you ask them they will come with new excuses why they are not able refund the amount... sometimes check issued to wrong address... wrong name... your bank is not taking the refund amount... every possible way you can think... but they'll be very polite in mail so that you can rely on them. But actually nothing will happen... you'll never get your refund back and will end up paying more for your ticket. Also during booking they'll ask for your food preference but that'll never reach to the airline... you might travel without food... so think next time when you'll book your ticket... avoid this fraud company
