Many users appreciate the variety and affordability of items, often highlighting the meticulous packaging and attention to detail. I have sold 6 items on Tradesy only when the prices were reduced on their site sale. You can check the box that states your item maybe reduced for sale if that is OK with you. So I made less money but the items sold without any buyer complaints what so ever. All of my items were authentic and as described. I received the money within 3 weeks from date of sale. However on my 7th item, the item sold again on their site sale, and I waited over 3 weeks before any information concerning payment was available. The information stated there was a "hold" on my payment. I called several times before a representative was available. They gave me the same information. After 5 weeks I sent in an email No response After 6 weeks I received my item back. No warning to expect it back, no information concerning where my item was, just the returned item poorly wrapped in a box. I called again, and was told the buyer sent the item to Tradesy several weeks after receiving it stating the description on the item was incorrect! I was never told why. I was never told if I was going to re-list the item I would have to change anything in the description. In fact I reread my item description, looked again at the item in detail, and could not make sense of anything that could be misconstrued. I believe it was "Buyers Remorse" and I'm the one that got taken advantage of. Very poor communication from Tradesy, my item missing for 6 weeks, and terrible, terrible customer service That was it for me. I've sold thousands of dollars worth of items on Poshmark and have only had one problem in which Poshmark ended up ruling for us both, paid me and the buyer. They are a top notch company and I highly recommend placing your items for sale on that site. I've also purchased there and all items were as described and authentic.
There marketing and fees are unclear and although they say you will receive funds in a timely manner, you don't get them for over a month.
As a seller, I have had to call/write to ask for my funds. I have an item that shows funds released on 10/4/2018 and it is 10/24/2018 and the funds are not in my PayPal acct.,
I love tradesy! I've never had a problem with any of the items i've purchased! WOuld like more promo codes for lower purchases!
I love their items, you get great prices and speedy shipments. I love their variety of bags & shoes. I recommend to shop with tradesy.
The site has great deals and lots to choose from, I will recommend all my friends! The checkout was easy and convenient... the options to pay make having luxury items available for everyone
I bought a dress on Tradesy.com. The description said 'New'. When I received the dress, it looked like it was 100 years old, with yellowish color instead of white. I tried to return it, but the representative said that the image displayed the discoloration, which was not true. Also, how the dress could be sold as 'New' if it displayed the signs of yellowish fading color?
I have been with Tradesy for about a year now... I love shopping on this site... they offer payments with multiple payment options... Tradesy is a Secure... Reliable Site to shop with...!... A++++++++
Tradesy makes communication with the owner a breeze and they have higher quality of merchandise and I find the prices are reasonable.
I have sold item's September 28. It's Oktober 18 and I still don't have money for two sales. I'm very disappointed from all. The costumer service ignore my message and emails. Don't waste your stuff, it's like putting in the trash.
I am reviewing this as a buyer since I've never tried to sell anything on this site, but as a buyer I've had no issues. Sellers are courteous and responsive and their items are 100% authentic from my experience.
Buyers can use and abuse a product and Tradesy will refund them. (Sounds like ebay a few years back). High selling fees. Watch the mark down/sales program. The will want you to sell an item for less and then you realize that Tradesy makes money & not the seller. Customer Service- all lies. Sellers have no protection. I've had Christian Louboutin shoes returned- showing extra wear. Plus, they will accept a return from a seller 3 weeks after the sell, even though they have a 4 day return policy. Tradesy seems like a scam.
Do not use Tradesy. Attempted to sell a pair of Christian Louboutins that I purchased from Neiman Marcus. The shoes were sent in barely worn condition, along with the box with original stickers and duster bag. Buyer claimed that they were fraudulent, which I would have been fine with but upon return the shoes had obviously been worn, were missing the gel insoles I had shipped the shoes with and original price tag sticker had been removed from the box. Tradesy's "solution" was to offer me a $30 credit. I have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau, but I doubt it will lead anywhere. I do not suggest using this service, and have had much better experiences with The RealReal, who purchase your item directly from you and manage all sales themselves. They do take a bigger cut, but I would've preferred that then the to have dealt with this horrendous experience.
I have been a high volume seller on Tradesy for years! They don't pay their sellers in a timely fashion at all when we clearly earned it! Their fees have become outrageous!
I'm considering selling what I have on there and deleting my account.
This is the best Shopping experience ever!
Love Tradesy! All items are priced just right!
I will definitely purchase from Tradesy again!
Purchased a lv recently. Although the seller showed pic of the bag it was not in the condition as the seller said. The lining of the bag was more than a little tattered
My poor husband feeling sorry for me removed the lining thinking he would get it redone. Horrible idea now I'm stuck with it. I don't trust this site.
Love shopping with Tradesy. My 3rd time buying. Everything I have purchased is just as it was described. Will shop again and again with them
I will definitely be back as I rework my wardrobe! The exietience was so easy and I am looking forward to getting the wonderful dresses soon!
I just received 2 of my purchases out of 4 made 3 days ago. I am impressed with BITH items. I admit a little reluctant because i was a first time buyer but my experience has been fun and exciting thus far. VERY SATISFIED BUYER
I don't buy from this site because I find them obnoxious to sellers. There commission is 20% and 20% on postage. If a buyer want to overnight something, Tradesy takes 20% of the aready expensive cost. Then after the package is delivered they take up to 3 weeks to make funds available and another week to get it into your account. There in the business of earning interest off your money.
Answer: Don't Do It! It takes at least 10 days to get paid. They prefer people that they can control. When you become successful, they will make upp a reason to suspend your account. TRADESY sell fakes, the owner is the closet owner of PENNY LANE It has been proven time and time again she sells Fakes. If you question TRADESY, they will shut your account down, and they do so WITHOUT even talking to you. Bunch of Bullies! Find an alternative. I AM IN THE MIST OF COMMENCING CLASS SUIT ACTION. THEY NEED TO BE TAUGHT A LESSON!
Answer: They advertise a strict selling policy of authentic and accurate descriptions for listing. If by chance an item received is questionable, they have a review process to protect the buyer unlike many other sites out there.
Answer: It says that everything is guaranteed authentic but you have to know your stuff to know if it is authentic. Tradesy people don't see the items unless it is sold and the buyer complains about authenticity. So if you put your trust on tradesy, you are 100% WRONG and will get scammed.
Answer: Yep. Tradesy are infamous for holding your money! They will also refund a sale without any communication with the seller, they don't even tell you why. Tradesy hooked up with Authenticate First, these people don't know what they are doing. Well the messed up big time with my bag, see it was authenticated by a very reputable company. I have ALL my bags authenticated BEFORE I list for sale and of course have the documentation to prove it. The bag was in perfect shape. Tradesy are ignorant, unprofessional and teamed up with a company (authenticate first) who have their heads where the sun don't shine. Tradesy are totally so unprofessional they have not bothered to send me an email even notifying me of the refund, I only found out when I checked on the sales delivery date to find a little sentence that says "refunded". No explanation why, nor when I can expect my property back. Punks! I am still waiting to receive my bag back. I have read on other sites that Tradesy keep the returns and seller is SOL. One seller was screwed out of 2,500 and never received her property back. Tradesy are shady. Another seller has started a class uit action. It's about time Tradesy were taught a lesson and realized that they have no right to keep sellers property. Apparently they resell the items on another site. The person who started the class usit actin has proof of same. Ironically, although some were refunded allegedly for item being fake, they resell and state that it is authentic. I have removed all my items from this shady scam company. I hope the class suit action closes this scam company down!
Answer: Don't ever do business with Tradesy ever! Learned my lesson. Bought a Chanel bag that doesn't look like anything they showed. I took some pictures of what I received vs. what they showed on their listing. They still ignorantly argued that those are the same item. They refused to refund me back the money. I finally disputed it with the credit card company. Tradesy almost ripped me off of my $1,600
Answer: I do not shop with tradesy any longer. FAKE prada duffle bag and im done.
Answer: Eileen: There is not a feedback option on Tradesy as there is with ebay and Threadflip. If I were you, I'd contact Tradesy immediately. While the seller may have purchased a bunch of bags to resell, that would definitely make me nervous. How many days has it been since you purchased the handbag? The number of days that the seller has to confirm the sale may have elapsed so you'd be in the clear. We only have so many days to confirm that we will have the item will ship in a timely manner.
Answer: I would highly recommend you look at RealReal or even ebay as I have sold over 100 items on both and although there is occasionally that one off glitch, they do protect the seller and are very fair from a buyer perspective as well. Do not use Tradesy... everything negative you read in reviews is true unfortunately. I did finally get my money back from tradesy as a seller, but I threatened them to no end and actually emailed the CEO... RUN from this site... save yourself the craziness of poor business practices. Best of luck to you!
Answer: I just had a worst experience with customer service also. I bought a chanel bag over $3K and the condition of the bag received was not the same as what was listed. The authentication card was also missing and there was no dust bag as listed. When I tried to complain & return the item, Blair said that the bag left the headquarters in perfect condition. How did the two big black marks were there within 5 second I got it if it left the headquarter in perfect condition. Instead of trying to solve the issue with the seller about the auth card, she said I could re-list the item to recoup the fund? There was no sign that the item was on final sale. If I knew there were no authentication card and the item was on final sale, I would not spend over $3K for the bag. It was the worst experience of customer service they've had. Lesson learnt and I will not do any business with this site anymore. I will write to BBB and I hope people will do the same.
