I listed some items on Tradesy. The fee for sold items was sort of high, but I was OK with that since I can list my items at a bit higher on this site. So I sold a necklace and found out that you have to wait 21 days for the money to be available. OK, I understand. Tradesy wants to make sure that everything is OK with the buyer. Then I go to list a high end item, but the designer wasn't on their list (although every one of this designers items are in the $3,000 and up. Mine was the lowest at $1,100). Then I find out that I can't get the name of the designer in my title unless I play a game with adding numbers to the front of the title. Really? Seriously? Then I find out that they require a white background. OK, I should have done more research about listing, but instead of notifying me, they went ahead a took my black background and made it white and the picture was terrible. I emailed them but have not heard back. I removed my item. Then today was the last straw. My 21 days was up and I transferred my money only to find out that Tradesy might take another 7 days to get around to it. Are you kidding me? I'm done with Tradesy. I'm making money on other platforms and don't need this aggravation.

I wish I had taken the time to come to this site before I sold anything on Tradesy. High commission, then they "suggest" you take part in sale so that you get paid even less. Once you sell, you wait 21 days until your money is "ready", where you have to pay another percentage for the transfer. Then supposedly another 7 days before they even process the request. They sent mine to the wrong checking account so another month of waiting has ensued. I sold a bag on 8/6 and it is 10/1 and I STILL do not have my payment. Lesson learned - don't do it if you are thinking about selling.

When Tradesy began years ago, they made it so you wanted to be a seller on their site. Their commission rates were reasonable, so you didn't have to increase your asking price to make a worthwhile profit for yourself, there was no 21 day waiting period to get paid, the website only consisted of authentic, quality Women's clothes, handbags, jewelry & appropriate accessories. Now everything has changed, you have to hike up your prices so high to make selling worthwhile, waiting AT LEAST 21 days is unfair, ANYTHING seems to go on the website regardless of what they tell you, I cannot believe what I've come across on the site. I know people must ask, why don't you go to another site, they're all just as bad in their own ways.

This site is allowing sales of products altered, and in very poor condition and the damage is not shown in all pictures or even mentioned under product detail information. As a matter of fact ALL of their items state the same verbiage ( gently-used). In addition Tradesy itself or Tradesy allows it's sellers to markup items listed than tell customers "WELL" the item is on sale at 67% off retail. Than once you purchase an item even under false advertising conditions Tradesy does not refund your money they only offer credit so you can purchase something else falsely represented.

The products are wonderful and always described with honesty and integrity. The sellers respond promptly and are always very accommodating. This site has the best quality merchandise and the best prices around and are always authentic. I have been shopping with them since they were "shophers" and will be a customer with them to the end. I love tradesy, the merchandise, and of course all of the sellers with their exquisite taste!

I will not be doing business with Tradesy anymore. I sold a purse and they stated that it takes 21 days before they can release the funds. Which I thought was very ridiculous. Then once it's released you have to wait another 7-21 days in order for the funds to show up in your account. My funds were release on 8/15 and today is the 27th and the money is still not in my account. I don't to wait 30 days to receive money from a sale.

Tradesy should rethink their model. Affirm is not good (using nice words) because shoppers with 700 Fico still are rejected.
Tradesy doesn't offer any layaway options.
Why does it take so long for sellers to get paid? Major consignment platforms ensure payment within 24hours.
Tradesy does not offer a 100 guarantee of authenticity. A lot of items are fauxs and fakes.
I personally have experienced buyers keeping my sold items and not sending payment.
Rethink your business model Tradesy. Your competitors have surpassed you.
