Tradesy is a horrible company! I've sold on many sites but this is the worst! I see that in the last week Tradesy has flooded this site with fraudulent positive reviews! They previously had a 1.2% rating so please disregard these! Tradesy I has very unethical practices and customer services lies to their members! They will suspend your acct when they owe you money, just to avoid paying you. This is due to their company being in financial disaster! They claim to have authenticators but they make many errors and only decide based on them keeping money. They will send an item back and keep the buyers money so the buyer only has site credit. You will never get a refund on Tradesy, only site credit. This company has changed their terms of service without notifying sellers and buyers. The payout timeframe is so horrible, you won't get paid for over 30 days if you do at all! Just stay away and sell on Poshmark or EBay.

Recently, Tradesy changed its Return policy for ALL items. In the past, brand new items over a certain dollar amount had a 3-4 day return policy for the customer to return for any reason. Those high-priced items were then returned to Tradesy to repackage and resell and you - as the seller - kept the $$ you were paid (and owed). Recently (likely due to how poorly this site has been performing), the policy changed without informing sellers. Our items can now be returned for any reason, are shipped back to us and BEFORE WE ARE EVEN NOTIFIED, money is debited from our accounts. What a shock that was for a high-priced item I recently sold. It would have been nice to have been informed of this policy before money was deleted from my account.
Horrible customer service. Horrible for sellers. Taking all of my 100+ items down today. It also takes the a full month to pay you after they take an abnormal amount of fees. I won't be relisting until they change their policy back to what it used to be. You can't just allow buyers to return for no reason without informing sellers and think we are going to be okay with it. The ceo and founder needs to take a page from the successes of poshmark!

This app one of the worst apps for sellers, they will return items without even notifying the seller their is a case open for return, I had two experience with them when the buyers return items with no legitimate reasons
My both return items were new no damages.
On the top of that they will hold your money for 21 DAYS for the fund to come in from each sale and then you will have to Wait again to get pay by PayPal for more FEES.
This is RIDICULOUS!

As a seller myself, I certainly understand your concerns both regarding our return policy, as well as our payout timeframe. We receive this feedback from our sellers frequently - and do know that our Member Care team here is working diligently to advocate for our sellers, and to send the feedback we receive over to the teams who can implement change.
Regarding returns, do know that Tradesy inspects every returned item for your protection and to ensure that the item is in the same condition as when it was sold and to prevent any type of fraudulent behavior. If for example, you sold a red shirt and a blue shirt was returned by the buyer the item would be sent back to the buyer and your funds would be released. If at any point you receive an item back that is in a different condition, please do not hesitate to let us know!
Regarding our payouts, I agree that 21-days is a bit extensive. However, do note that this is the maximum timeframe! Most times (if there are no return requests from the buyer), seller earnings are released within 7-14 days from the delivery date! Additionally, we've recently updated our payout timeframe from 7 business days to 5 days.
While these changes are minor, we hope that we'll be able to bring more features to our platform that will be a bit more accommodating to our sellers.

I brought a hand bag from Tradesy last November 2019, it supposed to arrive in few days but I never receive my package. The $2371. 37 Gucci bag.
When I purchased this hand bag Tradesy suggested me to go through Myus(Parcel Carriers)as the 3rd party deliver company. However; there was an misunderstanding going on that caused the delay of the bag delivery. I kept contacting Tradesy to solve the problem and guide Myus to deliver the bag, but tradesy said since they had delivered the product to Myus so it is not their business. But it was Tradesy who put the link of Myus on their web site only, how could they be so irresponsible.
Myus on the other hand Is charging me 125USD storage fees. I tried to follow up but the last words Myus said was that they had discard the bag.
Since than it had been a nightmare.
I called all the authorities to negotiate with Tradesy and Myus, but there's nothing they can do. There are no regulations for such madnesses conduct.
Now, I gave my warning ! do not purchase any thing from this irresponsible company.
I have sold a few items on Tradesy. In addition to the high commission they charge the payout is exceptionally slow and if you do not use the proceeds from the sale on their site they charge an additional fee to receive a payout. It takes weeks to receive your funds from them. An item was sold on 9/9 and according to their system I will not receive a payout until 10/13.
Their fees are outrageous - 22% selling fees and not only that you have to wait up to 30 days to have the money released so you can withdraw it into your checking (so you think) but then once you withdraw it, it takes another 10 days for it to get posted into your checking account - that is absolutely ridiculous and a terrible way to run a business - I will never do business on this horrible site ever again and you all should stay away as well - can't understand how they are still in business!
I purchased 4 pairs of 105 YSL tribute shoes 3 of them fake exactly as described with the 6 inch heel. One of them was sent to me as the wrong shoe wrong height the seller sent me the 4 inch height the 74 style. I contacted Tradesy with photos measurements and everything to prove that I clearly was tricked and spent 700 USD on shoes that were not sent to me. Also to add the shoes on the advertisement were the ones I thought I was getting and clearly didn't get. Monica and this site clearly don't care about customer service or the customers at all. I spent over 3 k on this purchase to be told that they would give me a $50 credit which I find hilarious. For this reason I will never shop with them again, DO NOT SHOP HERE
I found a pair of shoes I loved that happened to be discontinued. I looked everywhere on eBay, Poshmark and then finally just Google for my size. I found it on Tradesy. I purchased the shoes and several days went by and I heard nothing. Then I get an email that my purchase was canceled because the seller "no longer has the shoes." WHAT?!?!? I tried to request more information about how this happened and no one ever replied to me. I also haven't received my refund yet either. Do yourself a favor... do NOT buy anything from Tradesy! It's AWFUL! You also can't rate a seller for a negative experience so there's no reason for them not to do it again. Just DON'T!

BUYER BEWARE... I purchased 5 pairs of shoes from Tradesy and I of them! The first pair which are Calvin Klein has this sticky substance all over the inside of both shoes and I'm afraid to stick my feet in them ever again. The next three pairs are so scuffed up that they are not wearable. The last pair is a pair of boots... they are the worst! I tried the boot on and when I removed my foot it was covered with the black lining of the boot. So, they can not be worn!

Answer: Eileen: There is not a feedback option on Tradesy as there is with ebay and Threadflip. If I were you, I'd contact Tradesy immediately. While the seller may have purchased a bunch of bags to resell, that would definitely make me nervous. How many days has it been since you purchased the handbag? The number of days that the seller has to confirm the sale may have elapsed so you'd be in the clear. We only have so many days to confirm that we will have the item will ship in a timely manner.
Answer: I would highly recommend you look at RealReal or even ebay as I have sold over 100 items on both and although there is occasionally that one off glitch, they do protect the seller and are very fair from a buyer perspective as well. Do not use Tradesy... everything negative you read in reviews is true unfortunately. I did finally get my money back from tradesy as a seller, but I threatened them to no end and actually emailed the CEO... RUN from this site... save yourself the craziness of poor business practices. Answer: I just had a worst experience with customer service also. I bought a chanel bag over $3K and the condition of the bag received was not the same as what was listed. The authentication card was also missing and there was no dust bag as listed. When I tried to complain & return the item, Blair said that the bag left the headquarters in perfect condition. How did the two big black marks were there within 5 second I got it if it left the headquarter in perfect condition. Instead of trying to solve the issue with the seller about the auth card, she said I could re-list the item to recoup the fund? There was no sign that the item was on final sale. If I knew there were no authentication card and the item was on final sale, I would not spend over $3K for the bag. It was the worst experience of customer service they've had. Lesson learnt and I will not do any business with this site anymore. I will write to BBB and I hope people will do the same.
