TopResume reworked and updated my resume so that I could actually get to the interview phase of potential jobs. I worked with Thomas at TopResume. His suggestions, communication and overall product were fantastic! He came through for me.

I'm following in line with other 1 star reviews, don't waste your money. My resume review was preformed by someone who has zero professional knowledge. Actually, I bet the edits are performed by bots and not people since the formatting and sentence structure was so ridiculous a 6th grader can perform better. The recommended resume was primarily superlatives and little substance making the resume nearly worthless. I did complain and was assigned another individual but only nominal improvement. The LinkedIn recommendation was of little value as well.

I used their service a few years ago and was pleased with the result. So, I bought the service for my son. The results were awful. Can't even begin to tell you how bad it was. The first resume was clearly written by someone who does not speak English as a primary language. We gave them pages of rewrites and requested a new writer. The second version had several grammar errors and false statements. Requested a refund after trying to work with them. They are very well-schooled at double-speak to deny a refund. They had not delivered the cover letter or linked in review. Couldn't even get that money back. The company is a scam now. Do not give them your money. You will not like the results.

If I could rate her work 10 million starts I would do with no questions ask. I was really fascinated by the first draft. There were some minor errors in it however she corrected them right away. Well, my first draft did not have my current position, only went up to 2019 and it's 2021, and worst of all they're charging me $50 to do what they should've done in the first place. I paid for the top package and got nothing but more fees and a worse draft than one I created and nothing done to my Linkedin profile.

I would not recommend this company. They market their service with many different prices so after you buy a package you will most likely find it offer at a reduced price. Mine for example was over $50 less than I paid 3 days earlier. My writer sent several e-mails where he committed to deliver write-ups or rewrites and missed the delivery time by several days. Unless I e-mailed him about this issue I feel he would have never responded back. I sent 2 e-mails to their support and have not heard a word from them. Their customer service lacks if they have any at all. Use another company.

I can't say enough good things about TopResume and Jessica, who worked with me in getting my resume completed. She was awesome. Working with this company was like taking a breath of fresh air. I never before experienced such talent and dedication. Jessica took my old, outdated resume and brought it into the 21st century. It looks great, and YES my responses have increased since I've put it into use.

Having been with the same company for over 15 years I came into this job market with the idea that job seekers still compiled and wrote their own resume and cover letters. After not receiving much interest, I decided to participate in the free resume review from TopResume. The free evaluation opened my eyes on what could be truly achieved by hiring a professional writer. I opted for the full package that includes an overhaul of your LinkedIn page. Within one week my resume, cover letter and LinkedIn profile were completed. Within two weeks I was asked to complete a second round of interviews with a company I have been trying to get in. The first go around was super fast… too fast. It read like a resume and was bare in all aspects.

The second time is much better and it is currently being finalized however, I had to call 3 times before someone actually matched me to a new author. They did take my comments and layout into account but I'm glad that I am not actively looking for a job, or I would be out of work for over a month without evening being able to provide a CV.

I also think that 7 days may be too fast to complete a thorough cv when you are starting from scratch due to the research and conflicting schedules with a writer. Sometimes it may work but other times, not so much.

I paid over $320. For a resume build went over it several times with writer they this is what works, after 6 months did not get any interviews, had another service do my resume So very professional I have several offers, ask for refund from Top resume but they keep giving me the run around don't waste your money with them.

Definitely a value for the financial and time investment. I need to transition my career and remain focused on opportunities commensurate with my experience and education. But, I have been in the workforce for over 20 years and recently completed my advanced degree. Top Resume worked with me to ensure my resume has a more contemporary look; it conveys more accomplishments vs. graduate student related activities; and I believe it will survive through the screening of online applications with key word optimization. Good idea to have your work history assessed through an unbiased and "fresh perspective". I had to temporarily wait for the writer that "fit" my needs the best, but I received a free cover letter refresh for my patience. Easy and expedient collaborative process. I would definitely recommend.
