TopResume

I engaged TopResume to redo my resume, create a cover letter, and to redo my LinkedIn page. They promised to have an initial draft of my resume completed in a week, and I received the first draft within 2 days. I submitted questions and suggested changes twice within 4 days, and had the final copy of my resume completed on day 6. Very impressive. A day after completing my resume, I had the cover letter and text for the LinkedIn profile the very next day. I was very impressed with the service. While there were no official typos, in some cases there were some minor issues I needed to modify. This was minor and I was very happy with the results. I'm using them to create two different resumes for me in addition to the first (for different industries).

I was very happy with my experience with topresume. The template used was very professional. In fact one of the employers I applied for commented she liked my resume design. My resume writer was very responsive to my questions and request. It is expensive but it seems to be inline with what other companies are charging for the same service. In fact I'm thinking of using them to rewrite my Linkind profile. I would suggest TopResume to anyone that is having trouble getting interviews but is well-educated and/or has some good experience that are inline with the jobs you are applying.

This was a great experience. My resume was somewhat complex due to my vast experience. The rewrite was quite professionally done. I am pleased with the outcome.

I received a first draft of a resume late on day 7 of submitting my resume only after contacting customer service and "Katie Warren" to let them know I had received no contact from a writer. I suggested changes for the second draft. I received the 2nd draft very quickly, but it had typos and not all of my changes were addressed. It just seemed thrown together. If I had it to do over, I would have done more research and probably would have chosen a professional local resume writer with a good reputation.

I was very pleased with the layout and general content of the final resume. It only took a couple of emails with the resume writer to get to the final draft. It was a very pleasent experience from beginning to end.

I was VERY DISPLEASE with the resume I received back from TopResume. The only thing that was changed was format which I could have done with Word resume search, the words were exactly the same and on top of that there were spelling errors. Don't waste your money using TopResume. Go to Word and search resumes. They had the nerve to want to write another resume for me. I hope they were kidding. I have contacted the BBB and eyewitness news because I wanted my money back and topresume would not refund me. They guarantee getting you a interview well I didn't get one interview with the resume they gave me. I used my previous resume and I got a interview with that. Again people don't waste your money using topresume. To top it off they didn't even know my correct name. Not the spelling of my full name they were using the email address name instead of using my name and my name was clearly on the resume.

Hired this service for an executive style resume, uploaded my current resume and information for the writer. Once the 1st draft was received I found a flaw for revision in a section and questioned it. The writer responds with: (Well that's the way you have it on your current resume)? Seriously? I paid you for a premium service and you have no ability to take the initiative to fix something that was already wrong on the current resume? What am I paying you for? I received a reworked resume that was designed behind a template that anyone can download online! Don't waste your money for a plagiarised template is all you will get. Cheaper for you to online search the template that you like and do it yourself. I have submitted their resume design and been turned down 5 times already, not even an interview.

I paid about $300 for their services and the first draft they delivered was garbage. The second draft was even worst. There were things that were included in my resume that had nothing to do with my expertise. Also a lot of fluff was added without any context or meaning. I complained to them but they return my full payment. I googled them and saw that they have been reported the Business Bureau and some Scam sites by multiple people.

I submitted a resume that was well-written but was concerned that it didn't get more responses. I paid $249 for the top of the line service. What I got back within 24 hours was a piece of garbage. Literally. Mispellings, grammar errors, things that read like gobbly-gook.It is was apparent that this "service" is a computer that takes your resume and for $249 rearranges it with some modifications that make it clear it is untouched by a human - or even proof-read. STAY AWAY! Or hire them to ensure unemployment.

I don't know who you people are giving 5's but this place is a scam! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! They will take your money and then are quick to say that they are busy and have not forgotten about you! During a questionnaire it said I could add files or comments later. Well when I tried to add my cover letter, there was no where to upload it. I emailed support and they said you cannot upload it once the questionnaire is done but you can email it to us. Well I stil have not heard from anyone. Well since that email I am still waiting for something. I am unemployed and thought this would be helpful to land more interviews. I didn't have the money to spend on this service but figured it was a good idea. Obviously I would have been better putting $140 on lottery tickets. There has been no correspondence since the email and they will not refund your money. You will need to go dispute it with your bank. I am watching jobs post and be taken down. Do not use! Do not use! Do not use!

I was confidence that my resume is good enough since I spent a lot of time to make it, revised it million times and no one tell me it was bad up until Karen from TopResume pointed some points from my resume to make it better with a logical explanation. It wasn't my intention to get a review for my resume but I ended up here and I was glad for the feedback, though. I wish I can make a better resume based on her feedback, so thank you so much for the advices.
