The writer assigned to my CV fabricated research contributions, inserted misleading job details, and ignored my clearly stated instructions. If I had submitted the version they sent me to an academic institution or professional organization, it could have called my integrity into question and severely damaged my career. Despite multiple requests for a full refund and detailed documentation of their errors, the company minimized the issue and only offered partial reimbursement. Their standard policy states "all sales are final," yet they promote "satisfaction guaranteed"—a contradiction they seem unwilling to honor when faced with serious service failures. TopCV also continues to hold my personal and professional information despite my explicit request to delete it. The 1st review of my CV was very good. As a result, I paid a lot of money to have my CV written, together with resume and linked-in profile. A total waste of money. My CV was obviously put through AI and then produced absolute nonsense. I was asked to make my adjustments I then made my adjustments and returned the CV.
Why pay TopCV to do something you could do yourself?

Paid £135 and then waited for 10 days to get first version. The writer was a dull person who knew nothing. Emailed them thrice to change my CV writer but they didn't. Don't waster your time and money here please

All good reviews are written by themselves.
They have absolutely no idea how to write a CV! What information you will fill up in their website, they will use it to add in in a basic, simple CV. They don't add any relevant information, only inappropriate things. They're using AI (ChatGPT), and they don't even bother to change the language back to British English.
They don't follow or even read your instructions, they don't tailor it to your industry. It took them 2 weeks to come back with an AI written CV, which you could write in elementary school. After I asked for refund, there is 0 response! Please be aware.

But the timing of the service was awful. Doesn't make sense when you pay 100 euros then they tell you if you want us to be quick you need to pay way more! I give 3 for this reason, if i knew before the checkout, i would have gone for a better CV service provider!

I wanted a personal experience where I had a one on one interaction with an expert, but this was not possible. I received a charge which I am not prepared to pay because of this experience. My CV is unique and therefore I want to interact with an expert

-Format was horrible. All what I have been taught not to do, was in this CV: buzzwords, long summaries of 7+lines, unnecessary wording, not highlighting technical skills across my work experience.
Finally, the guy tries to pass the ATS and it completely failed relative to what I was asking for. I asked for a certain position tittle, the ATS highlighted all what I said I did not want to highlight. Plus no word of my skills.
Also the ATS experience did not add up to 100%, so I was missing some work experience. And no mention of my studies.
HORRIBLE!
I guess I had a very "smart" and lazy guy writing my CV and I hope TopCV solves this and compensates for the time lost in a correct manner.
