Bottom line: If you have a CV that needs to be rewritten do it yourself or use a cheap/free AI to do so. The quality and cost will be markedly better than this company and you will avoid needless frustration.

I have seen some positive reviews and truly do not believe it could be reflecting real experiences by the same company. At the very least, buying from this company is a huge gamble given you will likely not even receive a refund, and at best you will receive a CV that you could make by yourself or through other means in less time and at a cheaper price.

Wish I could give this a negative 1 star. I would advise anyone who will listen not to buy this overpriced, poor-quality product with terrible customer service.

I purchased the "Professional Growth CV Writing Package". Immediately they are not upfront that it will take awhile to even have a draft of your new CV. I purchased an additional add-on to have the first draft completed in 48 hours. 5 days later I was sent my first draft, with neither an apology nor an acknowledgment of its delay. And the terrible customer service continued from there.
The draft I received was possibly one of the worst things I had ever read. From the formatting to the word choice and organization, this draft was awful. It seems it was made by someone totally incompetent. I would say it was made by AI given how strange the formatting and wording was, but I have since used a cheap AI program which provided a much better result. They waste your time by having you fill out a detailed questionnaire prior to generating your draft which they promptly ignore. I ultimately had to rewrite and format my entire CV myself since their product was unusable. They offer to have you "work with their CV writing professional" to rewrite the draft, but honestly, once you see the quality of what they turn out, it is a waste of time. If you have a CV that needs to be rewritten you are far better doing it yourself, you will save your money, time, and own frustration by doing so. I circulated the CV draft they gave me around my office and the unanimous verdict is that it was an unusable and unacceptable CV for my professional setting.

Now what makes this a true 1-star review is the customer service. They are somewhat responsive but it took MONTHS to even have a partial refund offered after receiving not only an unacceptable product, but also one that was given to me in 5 days after paying for a 48-hour rush processing add-on. Ultimately, TopCV cares more about making money than they do about the customer, something they admitted to me in an email.

Since posting this review I received a ver "in brand" generic message from TopCV asking me to email them. Sadly after months of sending multiple emails without adeuqte resolution of my problem, I do not think it is appropriate to expect me to dedicate more of my time to emailing them. When they have made it clear, in email, that they care more about money than the customer. I truly believe their positive ratings are predominantly paid reviews and AI generated because of how awful they are. Customer service repeatedly responds with nice polite emails apologizing for your issue then proceeds to solve nothing and take you money and time. I will not change my review at this point even if offered a full refund as a result of this review, it is more important that people know about this scam and save their hard earned money and valuable time. TopCV reaching out after this review despite not helping me for monts and sending an endless stream of ultimately useless email responses, just seems like them offering money and disingenuous promises in order to silence someone trying to speak out about how awful this company is, which is, in a way, even more disgraceful.

Based on the feedback, I will make some changes to my CV as soon as possible
