Toolbox Supply stole my grocery money out of my checking account so I cannot now pay for medication and emergency medical expenses. I did not order anything at all from Toolbox Supply. They refused to cancel order and refuse to refund my money. They said they are forcing the delivery on me anyway. I can simply refuse to accept the package, and it will be returned to them automatically as long as it is not opened. They could stop it right now before it is shipped, and refuse to stop the shipment, and refuse to cancel order I did not place, and refuse to refund my grocery money they stole outright. I am going to the police and having them audited by IRS because they profile as a total scam.
We usually don't write reviews, but our experience was so bad we don't want anyone to have the same experience. We ordered a liquid gardening product. It was received in a huge box with little packaging. The box arrived dripping from damaged containers. More than half the product was gone from the damage. We called customer service where the representative was incredibly rude, yelling at us, and did not resolve the issue. Don't order from them.
Toolboxsupply posted a charge to my credit card as soon as I placed my (through Walmart.com) order. Three days later I find that my order was cancelled and charges refunded. No communication from the seller. No reply to my attempts to contact by email. Reading other reviews I see this is common practice. How does a company like this stay in business? I know now to stay away if I see Toolboxsupply as the third party seller! Untrustworthy.
Ordered wood post caps which are of laughable quality. Stapled hastily together by someone who must hate their job. Very rough. None of the wood components are alligned or centered, falling apart as I took them out of the box. Clearly no pride in craftsmanship. Spend more and get a decent product from someone else.
I was given the run around for 2 weeks about returning an item (for reason of not being as described). I finally had to go over the company's head to the venue they sell on to get information on how to complete the return/where to ship it back to, etc. I returned it within the 30 day window, in original unpackaged condition. I received less than a 50% refund for some made up reason by the company about extra shipping charges. No where in their return policies did it state I would have over half my refund deducted for a restocking, or additional shipping charges cost. Especially since the reason I was returning it was their fault! Customer service is incredibly rude and will ignore you! I own my own business and sell thousands of orders every month on multiple website venues and would never dream of making up false rules to scam customers out of money. BEWARE!
I ordered a outdoor Christmas decoration through Sears.com marketplace. When I went to check out it went to free shipping and delivery on 11/30. Since I wanted it soon I ordered it. When it didn't come on 11/30 I went online to see it was being delivered on 12/10! I called Sears, they directed me to *******488 which is the company directly in Albany, NY. To my surprise the customer service rep who tool my call was rude and told me the order delivery date was my problem and to call Sears for any complaints and it was too late to cancel. When I stated the order was to arrive on 11/30 he replied "show me where it says that". I said I would be writing a bad review about the company and he said this was my problem and hung up on me! Bad service, rude people, false advertising no matter what explanation they will give. Order through AMAZON, its faster, guaranteed and no hidden garbage or problems.
I purchased a 1000 gloves from Toolbox Supply thru walmart.com. When I received my item, it was only 100 gloves. Toolbox Supply states that it is a error as they only sell 100 gloves. I immediately went onto walmarts website and the same gloves I purchased were still available. They do not honor their prices or sells. I went to go to better business bureau but they are not a accredited business. Be cautious as a buyer.
I placed an order thru Walmart who uses toolbox as the supplier. The listing info was incorrect, so I did not get what i ordered. When I called toolbox and Walmart, they both agreed the listing was wrong and I was right, but no one would send the extra items. You know why? Because customer service doesn't exist anymore. DO NOT USE THEM.
Trust me you are on your own dealing with these people. They are pass though for other distributers. Bought product and called to check on size of trays. I was told it was the correct size (unfortunately from the web site). It turned out that the web site had wrong UPC. They removed that size from their site and refuse to pay to return their mistake. Totally low brow group. I did not mind paying 2 times as much to get the correct size, but when they ship a size different from the site, they need to deal with their mistake.
I recently order what I thought was a pkg of 12,12" plastic planter saucers for $12.00 plus. Imagine my disappointment when I only received 1. Never ever will I order from them again. Would never paid that much for '1'... Ripoff...
I wrote this same review on tollboxsupply.com but it never appeared so I am writing here.
Had I known that these blinds had some of the vertical vinyl pieces be a different color than woodgrain I would not have purchased it. As you can see some of them are light grey, dark grey and black. It makes the blind look defective.
When I called toolboxsupply (after sending them these pictures and more) and spoke with James/Jim he let me know with annoyance that this is considered normal. It was a frustrating conversation and I told him so. I was also told that if I sent these blinds back (which was the plan when I called) and they decide that they can't sell them I will be charged a stocking fee. I chose to keep them as I realized toolboxsupply had total control on whether they would charge me a restocking fee and by the end of the conversation with James/Jim, I did not trust him.
After reading all the other reviews here I am glad I chose to let go of trying to return my purchase as I conclude the process would have been more frustrating and annoying than it already has been.
This is my favorite online hardware store! They have a great selection, competitive prices and wonderful customer service. This is a mom and pop shop that has been around for 30+ years in Brooklyn NY, and expanded into the online business. I like supporting small local businesses.
I ordered some food and a roll of duct tape from WALMART, and did not get the duct tape, and I KNOW that they sell it. They shoved my order for it, to this company, and they wanted to charge me $5.99 for it, PLUS a shipping charge!
I cancelled the order immediately for the duct tape.
Then I contacted Walmart, they said to call Toolbox supply, I did and was promised a refund.
Did not get the refund on my credit card, so I called Toolbox supply.
They are a scam. For under $13.00 its not going to break the bank, but they are a DISHONEST company and are doing this to many people, Walmart MUST delete them from their vendors, and sell the darn duct tape off their own shelves.
I purchased a recycling tub from this seller and upon receiving the items, I noticed that I was charged more than I originally put in my cart. When I contacted the seller, they informed me that under "details" there is a separate link stating that this includes 6 tubs which is why I was charged more. I requested a full refund and the customer service representative did not help resolve this issue. I called several times and an Indian man answered every time, so he must have been the only one working there. He was very rude and disrespectful and hung up on me. When I tried to call back, he blocked my number. Luckily, Amazon helped me receive my full refund and is currently investigating this third seller party. Hopefully they shut them down so they can't scam anyone else.
If you got something wrong with your order or never get your item delivered they won't do anything about it. They going to make all the excuses. Just watch out when you order from Walmart or amazon about this third party seller TOOLBOXSUPPLY I hope your business won't last long
Bought a product through Walmart, when received item was damaged. Overall what they sell is very cheap quality product. They do not have good return policy. Customer service who took my call was a overseas person from India who was extremely rude.
Purchased an item through them as a third party seller on Amazon. They shipped an incorrect item. No big deal, mistakes happen. I sent the incorrect item back per their instructions on Amazon and received only a partial refund. When I contacted Toolbox Supply directly to see why, I was told it was my fault for not contacting them first and I was charged a 10% restocking fee and return shipping cost. I'm confused... it's my fault that Toolbox Supply shipped the wrong item? The customer service rep as very rude and then further insinuated that I replaced the item in the box I returned. So now I'm a liar as well. I'm sure if you get the right item all is well, and I will say prices are very competitive, but if you need any help from customer service, good luck! They have an attitude that they do nothing wrong and everything is your fault.
Do not order here,,,, wasted 2 weeks waiting on something they never intended on sending! I emailed them directly and was told my item had been "broken" before shipping and i would receive email and new tracking,,,, nope, nothing,,,, another week goes by,,, i email again, nothing so I cancelled my order and they responded quickly with agreement,,,, whaaaat? Save yourself the hassle,,,, they are a JOKE
I purchased composition notebooks from ToolBox Supply through Overstock.com. The description said "100-count," it it was over $10, so I assumed I was getting a good deal on 100 notebooks. I ordered two, as I am a teacher and wanted 200 notebooks. I received 2... for $21. When I called the company, before I even was able to tell my side of the story, I was yelled at, constantly interrupted, and repeatedly told I was wrong, not them. They couldn't possibly be wrong because no one else had ever understood "100-count" to mean 100 of the item. I asked to speak to a manager, and they would not let me (because they were working remotely). So, I set up a return through Overstock, but I had to pay (almost $9) to return the two notebooks, and then they also took out the $6.50 for the shipping that they sent me. So, I ended up spending $15 for two notebooks I don't even have anymore. When I asked them (through email) why they didn't refund all of my amount, they said they had processed my refund correctly and if I have questions, I should contact Overstock. However, Overstock has nothing to do with this, as it is all through the third party of ToolBox Supply. I literally have emailed them four times to try to speak to a manager, and they continually refuse to let me. Do NOT ever order from them. Their philosophy is definitely not "We are committed to our customers by providing exceptional customer care," as it says about the company on Overstock.com. I literally cannot think of another time I've received worse customer service.
Received the wrong item. Cheaper in value which seeing other reviews happens with this company. Why Walmart let's them sell on their platform is beyond me.
Answer: Marvin's Building Materials is the best, and has wonderful customer service.
Answer: No customer service available. They fake it with a robot.
Answer: Stole my money. I did not order anything. Toolbox Supply said I ordered something. Refuses to cancel order and stop shipment although I requested Friday, and shipment not until Monday. They have all weekend to stop that fake order and won't.
