Don't recommend this app at all. The app said 3 weeks why would the gift card take 3 weeks y'all should already have the gift card. A waste of time scam.

SCAM

Like what others have said. This is a scam site. Think for yourself why there are so many negative reviews and why are all the positive reviews made by accounts that looks like bots/paid reviews. If I had googled Toluna Review before I started my account with them, I would never do it.

If you want to waste your time then go ahead. But before you do, let me tell you what will happen, so you can decide if you want to continue or not.

There are usually less than 3 surveys daily but let's say there are 10 surveys available in total.

For 2/10 of the surveys, when you click into them, it will say that your profile do not match at all. That is also the case after you filled up all their profile questionnaires.

For the remaining 8, half of them when you clicked into it contains bug or server errors which either prevent you from starting, prevent you from proceeding once started, or prevent you from completing the survey at the end or halfway through.

Now, as you happily finish up the remaining 4 surveys, for 3 of them, right before you complete it, you will be kicked out suddenly with a prompt that says the survey has filled up, preventing you from earning any points, after you had spend hours on it.

"Fine, but at least I am still credited for the last survey" would be what you are thinking. WRONG. Yes, you will be credited but for 3/10 of these completed and credited surveys, the points will be retracted for no reason resulting in no awarded points. YES, they will still do that after WEEKS of you completing the survey, so meaning all your points are never safe and can be completely empty tomorrow.

Okay, so for the remaining 7 surveys that you are credited for and not (yet) retracted by them, let's say you finally accumulated enough points for redemption. Right after you happily redeemed the item, the real ordeal begins here.

They will refuse the payout and quietly suspense your account without any warning, and you will never know it unless you email their customer support. This is another set of nightmare that I won't go into details about. But you can check the reviews by others.

They will then extort more information from you under the pretense of verification and proceed to sell it online to earn for even more profit.

This is finally when you realise why is there an influx of spams email after you joined their site and that you have been scammed.

Good job Toluna. You earn from your users doing the survey, refuse their payout, and then proceed to sell their information.

Waste of your time as 9/10 surveys will say you don't qualify after spending 10-15 minutes answering all the questions only yo be told at the end that you didn't match the survey criteria! Customer help dodges around your questions about points missed.

The surveys we offer have different respondent needs and targets, so it is likely that you will sometimes be screened out. When this happens points are not awarded because the data gathered is not used for the research and we are not paid either by our clients.
This usually happens in the first half of the survey, however, if and when this happens towards the end of a questionnaire, it might be the result of a quality check (when the client sets specific questions to ensure the consistency and validity of the answers provided). Account suspended for no reason

This site sucks. I have been using it for a few months with no issues, I redeemed a 10$ Amazon gift card the other night and then the next morning I couldn't login. Just happened to have my account suspended right afterwards. Ridiculous that they don't even give an explanation until you hound them about it. Pretty frustrated with this site as they take everything earned as well so much time was wasted and I don't even know exactly why or what to do to fix it. I don't change my answers on purpose.

If you are looking for the largest fraud site in the world, Toluna occupies the first position in fraud, because I am working on it accurately, and without violating any conditions for the site, and suddenly the site closed my account without any reason, and I contacted the failed support team, so he told me that I violated the conditions, but he did not It gives me any details because it is a liar

Scammers

Everything was going fine on the site until they blocked my account TWICE. The first time they unblocked it after I queried their claims that there was any fraud or dishonesty on my account and asked for proof on their side for such accusations. I then started having issues with my points not being added correctly on my account, which they resolved after I contacted them. Then the second time they terminated my account was months later when they tried to use the same excuse and mind you I had accumulated enough points to redeem again. They even stopped replying to my emails and when I read other reviews, this seems to be something that they do when you have accumulated points and if you've been with them for some time. They are SCAMMERS.

REMOVED ME

I was removed for something I had NO control over - that someone/someplace had tried/attempted to participate over 400 ttimes this year - from different URL's. I had almost reach a reward - but was was told I was removed. I did not even attempt Toluna over 400 times this year - who is doing this? I am a 78 year old woman - and was rejected from most surveys - because of age, I believe.

Toluna Survey Scam
April 20, 2022

You can take up to 30 minutes to fill out a survey and then when you finish, you get the notice that the survey "filled up: while you were taking the survey, and sorry, you do not get any reward points. After too many time of this happening, I complained to Toluna and ended my participation in the site. Toluna responded basically that too bad for me the survey filled up and we just do not care about the way we scam participants.

This is the worst Market Research company as you do lots of work to reach there Payout limit needed, then they will kick you out the panel not pay out to you using with the most rubbish excuses they can find. DONT SIGN UP as your only wasting a lot of time for nothing. The also have another site called Vocalyz again they have done that on our rewards there as i was a Member on that site and my wife was a member on Toluna. In all the years of doing research for companies they pay a little into your accounts for a lot of work and like i said come payout time they freeze your account. So there just like thieves and are disgusting..

Used to be great. A lot of variety, redemption options, games etc but all of a sudden after 10+ years i had my account CANCELLED with the only reason given that it had been 'flagged' due to attempting to maintain the 'quality' of their data - no being advised (i had to chase them up), no being given access to the money i had owing to me, nothing...
The joke of all this is, they think there's 'high quality data' when say some surveys require a CEO level position to answer or someone on $100,000 income? As if people with naturally high incomes would complete 20 min surveys for roughly $1. The logic boggles the mind...
That said though, the time spent is NOT worth it & others have attested to this. Very little is paid for your effort. Add to this, there are MANY survey errors none of which you're compensated for so time simply lost.
Horrible all in all, like many survey sites these days... user loyalty means NOTHING to them - they'll use & discard you as they see fit (while getting free data out of you many a time)!

Edit: after writing what i have, customer service staff reached out to resolve the issues & my account was re-instated on a 'probational' basis so i think we would mutually like things like i've mentioned no longer relevant.

A Total Waste Of Time

Just imagine showing up for a job that pays about 25 cents an hour. After working three hours, the manager tells you he has enough people for the job, and you can go home without pay. That's what it's like filling in surveys for Toluna (and other ripoff survey companies). Most of the time, you will spend 15-20 minutes answering questions, only to find out the survey has just reached the number iof desired participants, or that they were looking for a different profile. And of course, you don't get anything for the time spent. If you like working for a wage well below minimum wage, Toluna is for you. Even if you're lucky enough to complete surveys which happens about 1 in 10, the pay is the worse you can get for any job. A complete waste of time and dubious business practice to say the least.

Don't waste your time
December 22, 2021

Had been a member for quite awhile with no issues; takes lots of time to earn enough points for redemption. Finally got enough for a reward and was waiting for gift card when I discovered I could no longer log in. Contacted company and apparently my account had been deactivated due to "non compliance with terms of service." No notice, or warning or proper reason. Found it interesting that this happened as soon as I was going to get a reward. There are many other better panels out there; don't waste your time with Toluna.

You can't contact them since it's impossible, you don't get the points they say you are suppose to get when they send you a survey and you have to get a lot of points to get compensated and they are asking me to plant a tree with those points? Now I know why I left.

Survey incentives are offered only for complete & successful completions. When influencers fail to qualify, points are not rewarded as the responses are not considered valid, so they will not be used in the final research findings and we don’t get paid for them either by our clients.

While the Plant a Tree reward has the lowest threshold, there are also other rewards available in the Rewards Center; we try our best to offer multiple reward options at different thresholds, so that even influencers who casually visit our site can redeem their points.

Frustrating at Best
August 14, 2021

Being a retired female over 65 automatically means I get screened out of most surveys, so when I find one that wants my input, I'm thrilled. So, imagine just how frustrating it is to spend 20 or 30 minutes completing a survey and hitting the submit button, you get a "system error". This is quote:
We are sorry, an error has occurred with your request. It's not you, it's us!

First off, you don't get taken to the homepage. It just sits there. Second, this happens ALL of the time. If I get one or two completed surveys in a month, there will have been at least 10 surveys that I've been dumped from. I spend my time and get no rewards. Is your system that bad?
The only reason you get a 2 rating is because I have been able to redeem enough points for a couple of rewards, but it takes many, many months to accrue when most of the surveys get dumped. Not a happy camper.

This is without a doubt the worst survey site on the net. Takes forever to build up enough points to earn a reward. Once you get reasonably close to a redemption they dream up a lie saying you are dishonest with your answers and delete you from their system and will not provide any proof of such. Avoid these guys at all costs unless you enjoy wasting hours doing surveys that you will never get paid for.
