I've seen a lot of bad reviews complaining about their boxes never arriving. I have a similar problem with my July box having been weeks since it's been stated that it had been shipped. On the good side DHL shipping proves to be a very effective shipping method as I received my August box in less than 2 weeks (that is if you want to be charged the extra $10 for it). Most of the snacks were very good and you get what you paid for.
My first Tokyo Treat box did not disappoint! Shipping was fast, it only took a few days. I'm happily satisfied with all the treats I was able to try; the few treats that didn't agree with my tastebuds went to someone else who liked them :) I'm definitely excited for my next box to arrive!
I've always been curious about japanese culture and food. I was going to visit Japan this year but since the pandemic is stopping us all i decided to atleast have some snacks and treats while we all wait, and im not disappointed is all i can say. As im writing this review i have a smile on my face looking at the treats just dreaming myself away to Japan, absolutely worth a try if you havent already!
These box is definitely what you need during quarantine. Every month you get this bright Orange box with cute little patterns and designs on it! Then you open it up and read about all the tasty treats in the box! 100% worth the premium subscription too!
The shipping is very fast, the package and the content arrived in excellent condition!
All the snacks inside are various and the taste perfectly balanced.
I really recommend this boxes if you wanna feel and have a piece of Japan inside your house!
I never received my MARCH box for which they took payment on February 28.
It is now July 28.
Neither I nor the Post Office has seen this box.
Company refuses to refund this.
Customer service is generic, incompetent and unhelpful.
Have gotten Tokyo treat many times here in the last few years, about 9 times in total. Always have some snacks that are very fun to try out with friends and others that left me feeling a little cheated. Some months have what I feel is extreme value and make it feel like the fee per month is completely reasonable and other months left me wondering why it was sent out the way it was. Some months have very repetitive stuff from previous iterations. Overall a very fun experience to try snacks from a different part of the world and would definitely recommend anyone to try it out a few times!
I've been ordering from Tokyo treat for months and they always deliver! I've never gotten a duplicate of a snack and they're always so tasty! I love the books that come with information about each snack and more. It's truly great and of course delicious!
Shipping is quick. My package arrived A LOT sooner than expected. Prices seem reasonable for what is offered although the shipping cost may be a bit much at least they do a great job of it. Will continue to be subscribed to Tokyo treat!
Tokyo Treat is sent straight from Japan and has a great mix of both savory and sweet flavors. I would recommend getting the premium box though, some of the best items are only via premium. I personally am super excited for my next box.
My wife and I were willing to try some Japanese snacks as we couldn't visit Japan yet. Tokyo Treat's super tasty snacks via fast delivery made us extremely happy and we love all in the box. Happy to recommend anyone!

Buyer beware! If you sign up for a subscription service, you will NOT be reminded about it before it debits your account. And they will not refund you your money if this happens. They prey on customers who don't remember something they subscribed to 6 or 12 months prior to the next renewal. This is shady business & a terrible way to treat customers. So disappointed.
Very cool and different treats to try, the shipping takes awhile but it comes from Japan so no surprise. I would recommend this box to anyone who likes trying new and different snacks/candies and drinks!
Tokyotreat is a service to which I've been subscribed for several years now, and while I sometimes go a few months without ordering, I don't think I'll ever stop ordering altogether -- simply because it's a great service! I love the variety of snacks and find I get a good amount of them for my money. The themes add a nice touch as well.
This box was full of delicious snacks and included a few things that I had seen elsewhere and had always wanted to try. Seeing as this is the August box and it's still July, the fact that this box is here shows great delivery times, especially given current circumstances.
I've had 4 boxes now and every time it's like opening a treasure chest of goodies. I've tasted some amazing combination of flavours and enjoyed being surprised by taste and style of food. I've enjoyed receiving every box and can't wait for my next one. Anyone who loves Japanese treats needs to try this box!
I've been buying the TokyoTreat boxes for my family for about 3 months now, the kids and I absolutely love all of the delicious treats in the boxes and we can't get enough of them! The delivery is fast and the box is cheap (unlike JapanCrate, I had to wait 12 weeks for their box and it was expensive). Overall, great food and delivery. I would 100% recommend to anyone interested in Japanese food or just anyone who wants to try something different.
The box made it all the way to peru in about 2 months. Having bought this kind of boxes before, I can say I got a better deal for my money with a tokyo treat. I even forgot to include the promotional code when I made my purchase and the support team was kind enough to still include the extra bag of kitkats. The candy is delicious, I would definitely recommend.
This is my first time buying a TokyoTreat box and I literally bought it last minute and expected the shipping to take longer but it arrived today and I was so happy! This box may not be for me (since I'm gifting it to a friend), but the snacks look so delicious and fulfilling! The box is a stunning orange color and I double checked if everything was in there and it totally was! Once I save up enough money, I'll definitely get one for myself! Thank you!
