I wanted to take my wife out for a nice evening on the town. When I saw orchestra tickets for a performance of Beethoven's 9th for sale for $300 per ticket I didn't do my due diligence. So I admit it's really my fault. My wife and I sat next to a couple who told us that they had only paid $80 per ticket for the seats right next to ours. How did they do that? They purchased their tickets directly from the theater, not from TicketsOnSale. Okay, my fault, I didn't think it through before I hit the "buy" button. So you buyers out there beware and check if maybe you can get much cheaper tickets from the venue itself.
